I have see both of you on stage with the best ever performances and i started playing the guitar because of Joe and Vai. But to be very honest, given that I also grew up listening to Metallica. You guys just scared my memories. You guys are two unforgettable guitarists, I'm still trying to comprehend what happened. I Love sat and Vai, but enter sandman cover was a disaster. I felt as if I was jamming with a friend at home. TF!
It's their take on a classic - a fun-filled rendition. The idea is to enjoy a live situation, appease the audience, etc. On a Wednesday this is their take, and on Thursday, it could be very different. Nobody musician in their right mind, let alone greats like Satch and Vai will write such solos for a record! Just have fun if you can - no need to analyze anything here!
