You turned a song about dying and death in to a positive twist on it. Love it. Metal is used as a outlet to get the emotions out, and that is very important not to bottle up your emotions. Good job.

All I’ve ever done is bottle it up. Sometimes the bottle gets to full and cracks a little and it leaks but I duct tape the bottle over the crack and keep it moving. Putting in the bottle is all I can do.
One of Will's students here! His screams are done with a false cord source, filtered through pretty much every articulator you could think of to create this wide range of sounds. The slightest shift in your filters can completely change the sounds that come out! Will also has unique physiology that actually twists all of the structures directly over his false folds when he screams. You can see this yourself on a video from The Charismatic Voice, where they put a camera down his throat.

I am going through some of your older videos after discovering your channel today. I can’t seem to find it, but I think “The Pain Remains” by Lorna Shore is a perfect song (3 Parts) for you to react to. It is one of the most beautifully written deathcore songs ever.
It might not seem like a good choice, but temporary job services are a good place to start with working. After rejection at 36 different places, i went to a temp service and I now work as a manager 2 years later. Sometimes rejections can be blessings. I struggle with mental health and doing something new or different is very hard. Just take it day by day and keep trying, it works out!!!!
Lorna Shore has been killing it on the scene with 3 different lead singers. Will Ramos is the best. And tell your client, shes more than good enough. Try to tune out the negativity and work until someone says yes. I dealt with the same issues. ❤ Good luck and GOD SPEED
I strongly recommend watching Will's "one take" playthrough of To the Hellfire, simply because he does all of the song flawlessly, then deadpans the camera and says perfectly normally "thanks for watchin'"
Yes, his one take is amazing. Especially given how Taylor talks about how exhausted he must be after singing, but the one take shows how little effort it actually takes him
I actually met will ramos a few times and he’s such a nice guy. I even have a video he made for my 7 year old daughter when she couldn’t sleep one night
Saw them live with Gojira and Mastadon in Pittsburgh this August, it was fucking PHENOMENAL! I won't lie, the genre Lorna Shore is in usually isn't my style, im more of a prog metal person, however GODDAMN Lorna Shore killed it! Will is INSANE as a vocalist.
This song has so special place in my heart the introduction to will and it helping me through very dark and depressing time on my life. Lorna shore is the biggest reason why i went to my first ever festival this year and seeing them live so a dream come true and going in to the pit while this song played is the happiest memory i have. like god damn they have helped me so much with the album,ep and all three shows i've seen. Will is a such amazing vocalist and person. 🖤
That rigidness is also exactly what Ren stated in his "breakthrough" video. He said something like, "the more rigid I became, the harder it got, so I learned to dance around it to manage it." Not the exact words, but that is the message I believe. Also, I love your takes on this music genre and how it can help people. I always had a (too simple) approach to it. "They scream so I don't have to". Not that I can scream like this, but dammit I wish I could. Even though it sounds so aggressive to the outside world, this is the type of music that soothes me.
For me, the lyrics that touch me the most come from "...And I Return to Nothingness" it's very much related to grieve and rebirth "From the moment of destruction We will create ourselves From the moment of darkness We will find a new light I shut my eyes and the world drops dead I lift my head and all is born again"
Something about the way he screams "Azreal" is what really makes me love this song. It almost feels like the way it punches you gives it the feeling of finality you would feel meeting Azreal
So interesting to see this song analyzed in a way to apply it to your client! I was glued to the screen at the end. Think you'd ever do something similar with The Black Dahlia Murder? Their frontman/lead vocalist, Trevor Strnad tragically took his own life last year. He was a true poet and wrote many songs foreshadowing his decision for over 20 years. You wouldn't regret delving into his lyrics. But, it might make for an admittedly dark video. Just a thought! Thanks for the fresh and inspiring content!
The Charismatic Voice has you covered on “how.” She and Will went and got a camera put up his nose and then down his throat to observe what is going on. She also does some theoretical analysis of what she thinks is going on with harsh vocalists, complete with diagrams of what the vocal chords, false folds, etc all look like, and what they do at different times.
I love how is brutal and sad at same time, quite how strong feelings makes us feel after get tired of living this miserable life, everything went from brutal, violent to a very sad picture
Will is great but we have to give some credit to Austin, Adam, and Andrew, they killed that shit. I personally think Austin(drummer) is the most talented member of the band.
I did a metal vocals course with Will and Elizabeth from the charismatic voice and also Chris Liepe. He'd just returned from touring with Lorna Shore and he had zoom calls set up to hear from and encourage people who had paid for the course. He was hilarious and sweet and Elizabeth had to keep reminding him they had limited time because he wanted to talk in depth with everyone. My favourite part was when I demonstrated my vocals for him and told him about the difficulties I'd experienced because of health stuff and he was totally shocked my favourite comment from him was "do you even breathe?!" Because I went through my thirty second demonstration without taking a breath. If I could sit down for an hour or two with anyone and discuss vocals, it would be Will just because we share a lot of musical interests like throat singing and things.
This was a fantastic video!!! Usally I think if's fake since the whole world have been reacted to a video.... But Will is amazing. His growl give in some case a gratitude to all the harsh music videos.....
Since you've ventured down the path that is Will Ramos AND you're obviously a fan of Sleep Token... Will has 2 covers of Sleep Token on his own channel that you should really check out. Hypnosis and Chokehold. Sleep Token is his favorite band. Believe me, you will love them! As for Lorne Shore, since you made the comment about their videos seem like movies, check out their video for Immortal with the previous singer (fired before the album came out) and Will was tapped to be their fill-in singer for the tour to promote the album. He was then asked to become their fulltime singer and Into The Hellfire was the first recording with him singing for LS.
i just put this vid into my watch later, cause i love seeing people react to lorna shore wasnt expecting a therapist, but its creepy how fitting it is for me, as i actually wanted to show my therapist the pain remains trilogy(we got through the first part to some degree, and i still want to go through the rest) seeing to the hellfire through this lense, makes me think its all about "final stage depression"... clawing whispers, begging azrael(the angel of death) to free one from the mortal shell and finally the last breath swallowed by the womb of death. at that point, when absolutely everything for you lies in shatters, you either free yourself from the mortal shell or you survive, crawling through those shatters, becoming one of the strongest minds ever. for "pain remains": i never felt so understood when it comes to losing your partner. in my case; suddenly being left multiple times, sometimes with absurd reasons or no reasons, sometimes being ghosted. and multiple times with being betrayed... so the whole pain remains trilogy along i always was "yep, i feel every single moment"
From Micro: It's so special when music connects so deeply with our personal experiences, and when we can stem personal interpretations from it. Thank you for sharing yours, and taking the time to express how much these resonate with your heart. It's beautiful the way you describe this "final stage depression". This sense of arriving to a place where you can only contemplate ashes and remains of what was - and what could have been. To somehow find comfort and familiarity in it, as if you could get your grip onto something, even if that something hurts... but then comes the painful realization that you have to move away from that place, for your own sake and survival, or it will end up consuming you. I'll be a bit cliché, but it certainly gives me this image of being at a crossroad, exhausted, and having no other choice but to make a decision, because immobility would only make you become your own ghost over time... being alive without really existing. It's so hard to be in that place, but it also holds so much potential for growth and healing. Growing pains, as we call them. Inevitable, rejected with all our heart, but still profoundly needed in order to change and welcome the next season. My heart also goes out to you as you navigate the pain of loss, and the grief of what could (or should) have been with your partner. It's so hard to navigate the realms of betrayal. Makes you look back and think about the story you've shared, all the signs you wish you could have seen or anticipated, and all the questions left without answers... the worst of all being "why?". Question marks like these hurt like hell. For what it's worth, I'm thankful that you can find resonance and understanding through LS's music. It leaves an echo in us that is so important when wounds make us feel the most isolated. For you're not alone in what you are going through, and you will stand still after all of it. Stronger than ever.
Please react to "Pisces" by Jinjer. They have a live session and it is wonderful. Thank you for what you're doing, reaching out to people and helping them. Keep up the good work.
I know you've already listened to this but you said something about how he has to be exhausted. The dude is a machine watch his one take of this please please he literally does this exact song like it's no big deal at all.
He's been working with @TheCharismaticVoice to research how he does the vocals he can do. The first video they stuck a camera down his throat and watched his vocal cords do their magic. Just recently they did another bunch of tests and experiments in Utah. It's so cool. I'd highly recommend at least checking them out. And, it's funny because Will is the singer of this Metalcore band, she's a classically trained Opera singer who recently fell in love with Metal, and they're now incredibly close friends. He's done numerous reactions with her, too. Just an all around Golden Retriever in human form. He's awesome.
Actually most of the volume comes from the microphone. You can do metal vocals in a very relaxed way that doesn't take a lot of energy. Conservation of energy is how most long term harsh vocalists can maintain their ability to do this. His movements are probably more strenuous than the energy he is expending singing. Because it's not just about the vocals, it's about the dramatics of the performance. I could sing a whole harsh vocal song with no real energy loss but if I just stood there and did nothing else but sing, people would not be as engaged.
Have you checked Hi Ren by the artist Ren? If not, I really hope you do. It speaks so much about what you explained with the lyrics. Thank you for an honest and awesome reaction.
Love your expressions all the way through this beautiful organized chaos 🥹❤️ Next you have to do The Pain Remains Trilogy. And get a box of tissues for it as well (You’ve been warned!) I myself can’t wait to see them live for the first time on November 13th!
I don’t know if this would help, but I’d suggest reacting to NF he is a rapper. Talks about ADHD, PTSD and life issues. A lot of people who listen to death core like him. 😊 just a thought.
I know I’m late to the party but you could have told her to look up the story of Azrael. He’s the god of death in Islam and he was the only one brave enough to go to earth to bring the pieces needed to create man back to God. It’s a relatively hopeful story about fighting demons to do his job.
I can explain it, ok so how its done curl your so that its pressed into the back of your bottom row of your teeth. You have a wide open mouth sing through your big smile basically, you want the air being pushed into that connection between you mouth and your nose, so air is escaping out your nose a little bit, and mostly out your mouth its like 30% nose and 70% mouth.
Idk how you use a deathcore band to help someone get and keep a job lol. But hey, I don't judge. If it works, god bless her. And Will is a friggin beast. One of the best vocalists out there.
OMG a psychiatrist that loves metal im shocked, shocked I tell you. Lol jk because like 3 different ones write for Metal Magazines, and mynown Psychiatrist is a metal head.
I know im about to catch alot of shit for this... I can never get into this type of music because I can not understand the lyrics. (I can not make out what they are saying) With that said the instrumentals are bad ass and the different ranges in his voice is amazing I just wish I could make out what he was singing about without having to look up the lyrics. I found Will Ramos with his Covers of Sleep Token.
All I did was find a song that I really liked the sound of and listened to it a few times while reading lyrics until I could start to make them out. Then listen to it a few more times and it just got clearer and clearer. Then switch to songs from the same band and album and try to understand lyrics without reading and just continue branching out. Once you can understand the lyrics everything sounds even better. As weird as it sounds I wish I could go back to when I first started to understand the lyrics it was a pretty awesome feeling to me personally.
His Joji cover is his best. Remember extreme vocals are mostly considered an instrument more than "singing" Will and Alex are the 2 best what enunciation regards. Your ears will get "trained" after a while and me only listening to this genre for 3 years have no problem understanding Will 95% Alex in Russian is another matter though😂
The more you listen, the easier it becomes to understand. Just like with anything, it has to be programmed into your brain. If anybody is gonna help you understand the lyrics, it'll be Will Ramos since he has some of the best annunciation while screaming that I've ever heard.
I disagree. I used to like this music maybe 15 years ago and lost interest cause they mostly sound the same. I recently got back into it because of Lorna Shore and Slaughter to Prevail. They are well above average.
How? They're one of the main bands keeping an almost dead genre alive. It's good to have new music in the genres we love, rather than just repeat the old stuff all the time.
And Will Ramos is a giddy, happy-go-lucky dude. the dichotomy between the man and the music is incredible

The dude is a machine watch his one take of this please please he literally does this exact song like it's no big deal at all.
you should see the pain remains all 3 parts
He's been working with @TheCharismaticVoice to research how he does the vocals he can do. The first video they stuck a camera down his throat and watched his vocal cords do their magic. Just recently they did another bunch of tests and experiments in Utah. It's so cool. I'd highly recommend at least checking them out. And, it's funny because Will is the singer of this Metalcore band, she's a classically trained Opera singer who recently fell in love with Metal, and they're now incredibly close friends. He's done numerous reactions with her, too. Just an all around Golden Retriever in human form. He's awesome.
"Obitual, free me from this mortal shell."
Love your expressions all the way through this beautiful organized chaos 🥹❤️
Next you have to do The Pain Remains Trilogy. And get a box of tissues for it as well (You’ve been warned!)
I myself can’t wait to see them live for the first time on November 13th!
10:59 here I am thinking I’ve accepted being single yet now I learned I’m still resisting
I would highly recommend checking out his one take vocals of this song plus his other covers on his channel 👍👍
I don’t know if this would help, but I’d suggest reacting to NF he is a rapper. Talks about ADHD, PTSD and life issues. A lot of people who listen to death core like him. 😊 just a thought.
Have you listened to Will Ramos' covers of Chokehold and Hypnosis? If not, you must check it out! Love your reactions and analysis.
you should definitely check out his one take video of to the hellfire
wow i just suggested this song in the comments of one of your slipknot reactions then realized you did it 4 months ago 🤣😂😂
You have to do lorna shores pain remains trilogy for sure ;)
Next please reaction to the hellfire one take vocal😊😊
One song you might wanna check out is Circles by Defamed
The face @ 4:04 haha
My favorite Lorna Shore song right now has to be into the earth and sun eater
havent exactly been live laugh loving lately, but at least ive got lorna shore to obsess over
I know I’m late to the party but you could have told her to look up the story of Azrael.
Which is why they rarely play this song at shows
I do this song at karaoke lol
they put a camera down his throat to see him do his stuff
Slayin it 😂
OMG a psychiatrist that loves metal im shocked, shocked I tell you. Lol jk because like 3 different ones write for Metal Magazines, and mynown Psychiatrist is a metal head.

yea hes probably pretty tired.. but i imagine the drummer is most definitely exhausted
Wait til you hear 10,000 by Beyond Deviation
Good headphones help!
You too can learn from the man himself for $300
You should react to Whitechapel
the therapist going to need a therapist
You should listen and do what you do to a song called where dreams are broken by enterprise earth
That's not a pig squeal. It's something else that only Will does lol
He does pig squeal in the song, just not at the snorting part. That's literally an impression of a pig. lol.
Check out will Ramos cover songs….. amazing ❤ LS is my go to band❤
Listen to slaughter to prevails song viking
The amount of rings on your fingers is crazy to me
Totally overrated
Literally the dumbest 'hot take'.
I disagree. I used to like this music maybe 15 years ago and lost interest cause they mostly sound the same. I recently got back into it because of Lorna Shore and Slaughter to Prevail. They are well above average.
Most overrated band in modern days...🤮
How? They're one of the main bands keeping an almost dead genre alive. It's good to have new music in the genres we love, rather than just repeat the old stuff all the time.
more lorna shore plis😢❤😊
