This First Nations band is an Ottawa-based trio that is bringing music that originated on the North American plains to a whole new audience. I love this music, and I love how they implement their culture to create music.
I wonder how many people would end up being offended regardless.
Jack Of All Trades some people are offended because it's supposed to be for pow wows, not clubs, where there's alcohol present. It's a sacred traditional dance that means a lot to native Americans, but I think what these guys are doing is good because it's making others aware that we are still here, I think we have to let go of some stuff if we want to move forward.
Tyrel Alex Tradition is something that exists in spirit, not in practice. As long as we remember our origins and share it with the people participating, cultures will never die.
My brother introduced me to them a while back. It's very cool how they fusioned their heritage with a modern twist.

That's a great infusion of music. love it
I think that is a good thing this music band. It's a good idea to preserve the Indigenous cultures because now it can touch young people. Also, there is no food so people haven't tasted Aboriginal food. But the event in Toronto and this music have multiple things in common like dance, regalia.... I think the two things are complementary to keep the Aboriginal and Indigenous culture and traditions.
