FF14 was nowhere near the level to be seriously mentioned here(should we count WoW as greatest RPG of all time then too?) and FF15 is on the level where you can call modern Tomb Raider one too. A godlike singleplayer experience and when you try it Co-op your mind gets blown...its just so incredibly fun.

Jun Kurosu it would run like a brick on the Switch. Not knocking the Switch, just pointing out how crazy ass giant this game is. Most PCs can't even run it, I'm amazed there's even a version for consoles at all.

TheCNotes1 - im amazed by your ignorance lol. Horizon Zero Dawn is far more demanding than Divinity OS2 with its large open world and extremely detalted graphics engine and its an PS4 console exclusive.

Dysth Ymia I'm sorry, have you even played DOS 2? For that game to run as smooth as possible, you'd need an i5 2400 processor and a GTX 550. And the graphics would still be on medium. This is a big ass game with serious hardware requirements. And as cool as the Switch is, it is the lowest benchmark for this generation of consoles, as is every Nintendo console since the game cube. And no shit the PS4 can handle it. Never said it couldn't. I said the Switch couldn't. Because it can't.

Bought the preview last week and my only complaint so far is the lore should be explained a bit better within the menus, e.g source, the factions, divinity 1 events. I started off and was like who the hell is this alexander and the archbishop and what is source and sourcerers and godwoken. Over than that amazing game.
Isn't there a lore section in the journal? Bishop Alexandar The Innocent is a new character. The game doesn't talk about DOS1 events very often (outside of Braccus Rex), because that was over 1k years ago. DOS2 makes more references to Divine Divinity (the first divinity game), Beyond Divinity, and Divinity 2 (which DOS2 is a prequel to).

Also as long as you talk to everyone named you should become less and less lost as the story goes. Literally everyone named has something interesting to say, that includes the magisters. In regards to what source actually is, that information is a bit vague, but you should get a clearer idea of what source is as the game progresses.

DudeNoobem no problem, you have a set amount of ap and it costs to move,use actions etc. Higher ground and environments come into play aswell.
paul slade Looks really awesome and I definitely sill be picking it up. Those classes look so bad azz! Looks like a ton of content as well ao im excited to try it. Im not really into turn based combat which is my only concern but it looks like the game offers alot so it may not be a problem for me.
DudeNoobem im a huge fan of rpgs and love turn based games so i cant comment on that, but ive read other people who share your views who say they loved it! So maybe give it a try or watch a gameplay vid and you may turn to the darkside yet.:)

Not at all. You don't need to have played any of the previous games, but it does give a lil context for certain things, but nothing major.
