I’ve seen hundreds of van conversions now and this is the best I’ve seen by far!! There is very little I would change. Thanks for sharing! Now all I have to do is convince my hubby that this would work for us....😂. We now have truck/22 ft travel trailer.
The best van build I've seen so far. Overall well thought out and practical to use and creates a wonderful space to live and work in. I'm in. Just got to get some $'s ready and you'll be hearing from me.
great conversion, however, I just can see how anyone can actually soap up and shower in such a small space! I have never seen a van conversion other than on these videos, so it was great that you actually stepped into yours. Great sized fridge!
One of the best van builds I've seen if not the the BEST, really curious about the hot water system using the engine(radiator). Would greatly appreciate it if you could do a video on that. Enjoyed the video very much, actually watched all the way through. Thanks for the upload!!
Great work! The conversion and content are great. I recommend either some encoding adjustments with the awkward sounding audio or a small Bt mic to add a touch of audio quality to future vids :) Cheers y’all! Keep up doin great things :)
this has to be in the top two best van builds , was customer spec, but if was mine a induction cooker and extra solar panel,, that would be a dream. cannot fault anything on this build.
Eric...what part of Mn do you live? I'm by Albert Lea. Do you Convert buses also? I'm planning to get a Short white 19 ft Shuttle bus in the future...and I'm liking your Van builds alot!!! Great job!
@@ErikLokkenNRVC Thank you...yes I would luv you to build out my Bus!!! Your Builds are absolutely Beautiful!!! When I get her...I'll make an Appointment with you...Thanks again!
Beautiful, thoughtful job. We're considering just such an outfit since we are retiring, but I'm wondering what the cost is--can you give an idea, just a ballpark figure or a range for such a van,d so we can begin to explore our options? Yours is the best we've seen so far, at least online. Thanks for sharing it with us.
really love this build so let me state that first and foremost, the wood working is amazing! Just one thing I noticed that didn't add up for me is how you said you built the lower part of the cabinets above the stove area to be recessed so you don't hit your head or have an obstructed view, but then make the argument for how the flip down door faces would make for a good spice rack during cooking. Wouldn't that actually make it just as, if not more obstructed? I understand you don't need to use it that way of course its just something that came to my attention :) Pros and cons to everything in a small space I suppose.
Hey Erik, you mentioned your "one piece PVC shower wall panels" but did not list them in your product links. Where do I look for this? Do I look just for pvc panels (how thick) or is this part of a shower kit? Thanks!
I might have missed it, but did you cover what the ceiling is? It looks like slats of stainless steel, but I liked how i reflected the light and shimmered a bit - How did you accomplish this?
No way in hell will I have a toilet in the shower now I know there's a premium for space but I will use a step van for my upcoming project will won't be some award winning deal but the toilet in the shower is a deal breaker for me but nice job on the build.
I have big reservations about not putting the toilet in the shower. The toilet is easily removed, and the shower is easily cleaned of pee splash and other misses.
Fridges are naturally more efficient with the freezer on top. Most of the most efficient fridges you will see will generally always have the freezer on top. Very important on anything battery powered to save energy where possible
Erik, Great build, and my favorite. I was checking out the products you used. Clicking on (@t) to check the refrigerator specs, did me no good. Can you help me with finding more info on the fridge you used? Thanks
I’ve literally watched hundreds of custom & DIY builds. This is my favorite! Well done!
I have been watching van build channels for the last 8 years and nobody does it better.
Always a thumbs up 👍

Finally, a van I can actually see myself living in. Wonderful craftsmanship and attention to detail. Saving this one for sure.
Theresa J. Says: I'm impressed! Its beautiful and very workable! You thought of everything!
Wow, 2 tables in a van! Never seen this. The additional cooler is a genius idea.
This is an example of a perfect van build!

this background music is doing my head in!!!! agggghhhhhh make it stop!!!
Love your build, and attention to details!! Wood on the walls is a nice touch. Everything is Wonderful!!
Wow! Another great build from the Erik Lokken van build team! I love this van!!
Once again, you amaze me! I like your dining and work tables!
Thank you so much 😀
If you added a TV & your power bank could support it all, SOLD!! I think I'm in love.
Yes, no problem
I truly love this van build.

Uffda... that's an awesome build!
Outstanding Van Build...I love the ProMaster :)
Amazing job
Very beautiful and similar to our 3500 tall, XLong, except we have on interior shower. Nice job.
Love this conversion.. Awesome layout!
Beautiful build - lots of great features.
Love the size of the shower and fridge.
Yours was the first van build I saw
I have been opposed watching

(Maybe one day)!!!
I absolutely love your van builds.👍

Also, just noticed this vid is 2years old and y’all have probably already remedied the audio thing :)
Excellent build!
this has to be in the top two best van builds , was customer spec, but if was mine a induction cooker and extra solar panel,, that would be a dream.
cannot fault anything on this build.
We custom build each van for the customer. Depends on if they want the roof space for other things typically.
Nice build!
Quality build!
What a stunning job. So well thought out! 👏
well layed out. great use of space. nice design. well done. where are you located?
Wonderful job. What is the depth of the upper cabinets above the sink, top ones and bottom ones ? Thanks
Amazing .....Love it ........great craftsmanship.....
Thanks Rob, We cant wait to get going on yours!
Wonderful!
Erik have you thought about doing one that's wheelchair friendly?
Yes. Since we custom make each one, that would be something we would love to do!
Excellent build. Great demo! (Just a tip: the constant music is too loud and distracting).
Lovely, would love to know the size/depth of the sink and the size of the bed and thickness of the mattress.

Mattress - amzn.to/33mRGkQ
Very thought out build! How much?

Awesome build. Do you do anything special about the heat created by the fridge? Is there an outside vent or something?
There is no vent for the fridge other than the roof vent
Awesome!!! $ how much?
If I have a van , how much you charge all of equipments like this van?
76000
Approx; ball park figure, how expensive was that build and how long did it take?? Great video!!!
They take about 500 hours to build. Feel free to email me for a quote on a custom conversion. nrvc.erik@gmail.com

nice
battery access, the shower stall that fits so snuggly to the contour of the van?
I might have missed it, but did you cover what the ceiling is? It looks like slats of stainless steel, but I liked how i reflected the light and shimmered a bit - How did you accomplish this?
It is a tongue and groove pine board with the beaded side out. It is a high gloss rustolium paint. That may explain the reflected light.
@@ErikLokkenNRVC I dig it man. Opens up the space and looks excellent! Thanks!
What driver and passenger chairs are those that allow to be turned around - or did you mount them on a different base to allow that?
Those are Factory swivels. There are aftermarket swivels but they raise the height of the seat about 1.5"
😍
I didn't see a cooker hob
I believe he mentioned the client didn’t want one and opted for a stand alone, portable burner that would fit in the top drawer.

But yes i prefer it like you too but in these builds i’ll go with efficiency first
How much is that build if I bring the Van?
Your camera person need to show what you are talking about more than just showing you.
You look like Dundar Bey from Kurulus Osman
Sweet! Ha ha, That is the look I am going for.
Addresses everything but price

Don’t like music beautiful van
Camera focus only on him, dose not point to what he is referring, annoying !
you would be better off with a satin/ or low luster finish on your cabinets and ceilings. Less glare and it will show less imperfections.
Great Van Build! Very annoying music.
You spend way too much time explaining the same item/took that I had to speed up the video significantly
