Kasie, Nathan and Rory (the cat) have been living the tiny life adventure for two months in their Promaster van that they converted themselves. Armed with HomeDepot, RUclips and Amazon, this self described "frugal" couple created their perfect space and included all the necessities. Kasie loved a pull out pantry and was a must for her new kitchen, and the shower/toilet area is perfect for their tiny space. One of most creative areas is Rory's "private area" that was built by Kasie, its a must see. Even though they have only planned to travel for one year right now, we see a long life on the road for these two! Congrats

Agreed... especially in these days of Covid. No casually running into restaurants, etc. any more. I think that' why RV's are selling like hot cakes right now. Safety first.

Yes I love this van, it's perfect, it has all of the essentials and "I" only me, think a bathroom/shower is essential so yes I love it...even the dorm refrigerator. BRAVO!
Agreed! Everything you need, super functional, no frills just for the sake of frills. Great build!
Only thing is no real work space. That table behind the seats is small even for one person, let alone two.

@@gigiheritage5813 where are you located? I would think it's difficult to find a carpenter to build out a van. Nothing is strait forward or easy. So many carpenters I work with are frustrated at chalenges. What make van are you converting? Years ago I remember seeing templates for wallpanels. It would be best to see in your head exactly what you want, better yet to draw it. And have a budget.
The swivel seats are great, you don’t need any other seating built in. The best use of space.

vandweller tiny tip: use viva paper towels- it sticks to itself and never unwinds in the wind. i have mine mounted vertically on a ratcheting holder.

That's a good way to deal with the kitty litter box. Also, l love the use of the driver and passenger chairs! l really don't understand why people don't use them considering they're better built than a board with a piece of foam on top lol.
This build is officially my conversion inspiration. Going to be getting this van in about a week or two and starting the project. Phenomenal build!

Very Nice! The first I've seen with the bathroom next to the bed which separates the space very well. Love the double swivel seats and the hidden litter box. All-in-all . . . seems very comfortable and inviting.

We are on our fourth motorhome size. Currently we have a 29' class-C motorhome so I know what is needed and what is not. We had a 27', 40', 25', and 29' in that order.

I love this couple. They are just so cute and seem like such nice people. They did a wonderful job, they have everything they need, and have the most practical build. I don’t understand how some can builds can prioritize a hanging closet (or something like that) over a shower/toilet. This is the perfect van for living full time.
One of the very best van builds I’ve seen and I’ve seen a lot of van builds. Love the shower, the pantry and the seating/eating area!
Very clever desıgn. And a special thanks for mentioning the width of the plywood to keep the weight down and the sizes of the frames. No video I have watched before has explained that. Extremely helpful for those of us with no woodworking skills. Thank you for sharing.
Finally.....I see a Fire Extinguisher in an open, easily accessible place instead of tucked in a cupboard somewhere. Congratulations.

fantastic build! The only thing that I would do different is the plants and only because you are thinking of getting rid of them. Tapered pots simply a problem in a van unless they are unbreakable and rest in the sink when traveling. Using a canning jar that is close in size will allow you to put them in from the bottom (jar neck up into the wood platform) and use the lid band to hold them steady. They won't fall out or bounce out and if they are loose causing them to sway enough to hit each other, a strap or rubber band where the neck is seated at the wood would stop that. The lid band needs to be wider than the opening to keep them seated. Cacti get as big as the root system. When the roots fills the pot, the cacti will grow to that size and stop. When root bound, they must be repotted into a larger pot or they will die. Because you cook so much in the van, why not grow some herbs and spices? You can plant 2 or 3_different herbs in on jar. Some rosemary looks and smells great, nasturtiums are pretty flowers that look great in the pot and on the plate and a great pepper taste. Cilantro? Chives?

Easier yet, why not just some rubber tubing across the top of the pot? Easy to pull out a pushpin or tie it back to a brad in the frame, or even just slip it out if you have enough stretch.
Awesome camper van you have here. Love the simple yet practical design such as the bed and toilets. These are definitely the most important factors in any camper van living.

Love everything about this build ! I was wondering how the cat would go to the bathroom if the door was shut and thought that the split curtain was such a smart idea! First time Iv seen that. This van has everything you need. Hot shower, fridge, sink, counter space, storage, a toilet, good size bed, and a dining area! Absolutely excellent .
