Hey! We’re Chris and Jessie and we’re making the best of this life by living out of our self converted Promaster Van. We have a passion for wellness, music, craft beer, and are dedicated to not taking ourselves too seriously. Our goal is to visit all 50 states, 62 National parks, countless breweries, and share our adventures with you!
One day, shortly after we started dating, Jessie mentioned she had the bucket list item to live in a van for a summer. Chris thought this idea was absolutely crazy at first, but after a little more thought and research, decided living in a van would be exactly the kind of excitement he would enjoy. We both love seeing new places, spending time outdoors, and don’t need a whole lot of physical things to be happy. In January 2019, after just 8 months of dating, we purchased our 2019 Ram Promaster and began converting it into our future tiny home. One year later, we finished the build and hit the road!
We’re excited to see where the road takes us and to share our adventures with you! Big thanks to all of you who have supported us and encouraged us to live out our #vanlife dream!

What a fantastic build! It’s incredibly organized, yet somehow very simple. Every single space is used optimally. Built exactly to fit your needs. The tour is also well done. I couldn’t believe it was almost a half hour long because it held my interest from beginning to end. Really well done! Safe travels!

What an amazing conversion! The boat hatch is a great alternative to a ladder on the backdoor. I’m I. Love with the hammock chair setup. And for my girlfriend the full-size shower is a must. This has given me a lot of ideas to put on paper thank you!!

This is the EXACT layout I had pictured for my van! I have been looking for years and have never found one that had the layout I wanted. I’m a visual person so I’ve wanted to see if what I wanted actually looked good or could’ve worked. This video was much needed, and very well done. Thank you, and beautiful build! I agree! I usually skip through tours that are more than 10 or 15 minutes. I haven't hit the skip button yet, and the tour is almost over.

I absolutely love this build! Love how big the kitchen is and the organization in it! Great idea for the wine area. I agree with you on the fridge---chest fridges and freezers are horrible. Love how organized everything is!

Same here! I've decided chest fridges are definitely for folks who don't have back issues. Having to bend over and dig through the fridge would probably prevent me from cooking and eating as much.

Very well thought out van. Layout is similar to what I have come up with, but with a few small changes. I particularly like the fact that you have a permanent bed, a full oven for cooking, and a full bathroom........all essentials as far as I am concerned. Life is to be enjoyed, not endured.

What a fantastic DIY build. I love all the thoughtful storage and the interior design/decorating, especially the countertops. That wood is stunning! The mountains on the sink and bed area are gorgeous. The hammocks are such a fantastic idea! Everyone should do that because it's a huge payoff for something that doesn't take up much space. I have added this video to my Best Van Build Playlist, and I am extremely selective about what goes in that playlist! ❤
Awesome. First thing that hit me after solar panels, was how much fresh water can be stored. Definitely worth many compromises if needed.
Agreed! We love not feeling the need to be super stingy with water since we have a big tank. If water didn't weigh so much, we'd consider an even bigger one.. haha Love it!

This conversion is among the top ones I’ve seen that I really like, you’ve thought very carefully about what your needs will be and how useful you have made use of all the storage that van living needs but also gives thought to some of the drawbacks that come to living on the road. 🇬🇧💕Great van layout💕For extra water you can use Jerry cans they can be wedged into so many places inside the van whilst driving💕Water can be easily collected in Jerry cans from natural water 💦 sources💕If you use a hose your waste water can be emptied out into the bushes💕

Very nice only thing I would have done different would be to swap the sink and fridge so can rinse out the side easily, but well organized.

Your van layout is great and I enjoyed your van tour. I rarely watch a 30-minute van tour. I start fast-forwarding after 5 minutes and I'm asleep after 15. Y'all did a great job on your van and the van tour presentation was outstanding. It kept my attention without putting me to sleep.

The loft hatch is epic. If I had something like this I would have a telescope and put it up on the roof at night and watch the stars
Rope ladder, genius! All other ladders hurt my feet, can be slippery, weighty and know several who smacked their head, sprained an ankle, or hands slipped. There are many plusses using rope. Brilliance throughout.

This van is truly amazing. The design is stunning and I definitely love the full sized shower and toilet. That's a big bonus. You must include a shower and toilet to live comfortably.

This layout is amazing! I love how much you’re able to fit inside. I love the swing, but I am wondering- how does the swing fit in while you are driving?
The hammock chair mount or the swing in the doorway? The hammock chair mounts telescope back in and we clip them in place so they don't move (you can see better details about it in our roof rack video). For the swing in the doorway, we just take it down and store it in the "garage space" under the bed!

I absolutely love this van. I’ve been watching van tours for over 2 and a half years now and this is one I would pick on the spot for my own self. One of my biggest dreams is to travel like this but everything is so expensive in my country (Brazil). I’ve just entered my 20’s so I’m planning to have one of my own by the time I’m 24!
