The song, "A Girl Worth Fighting For" was actually the last song of the movie. That wild vibe change at the end illustrated when the movie suddenly took on a more serious tone as new recruits get hit with the weight of what war actually looks like. Shang's father, his men, and people of an entire village got wiped out. In this scene after the song, the little girl's doll gets brought up, as she was an innocent child murdered as a war victim. She was a girl worth fighting for.
Fun fact: Both the men and women in ancient China grew their hair out because they used to believe that hair and nails were gifts from the ancestors and that cutting them was a cardinal sin.
The interesting thing here that isn't touched upon enough is that Mulan's father seems to be an actually respected soldier, possibly from a previous war, hence the armor and the sword already in storage. Also Mulan being packing a hefty punch already even before training would show how deep the strength runs in their genes. I doubt they'd make the old crippled man fight in the war, but they would've most likely used him as a veteran to help train the inexperienced troops.

Wait a minute they had a movie
This was easily one of my favorite Disney movies growing up.
“Li Shang is a bi icon!” We all say in unison🗣️🗣️
LI SHANG IS A BI ICON ‼️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
The song, "A Girl Worth Fighting For" was actually the last song of the movie. That wild vibe change at the end illustrated when the movie suddenly took on a more serious tone as new recruits get hit with the weight of what war actually looks like. Shang's father, his men, and people of an entire village got wiped out. In this scene after the song, the little girl's doll gets brought up, as she was an innocent child murdered as a war victim. She was a girl worth fighting for.
Kinda surprised they haven’t done a reaction video to this film earlier.
In the Chinese version of "Make a Man Out of You," I believe it was sung by Jackie Chan
He's also "that's why we call it Justice- because ut's Just Us!" And is the grandpa in everything everywhere all at once.
The writers of this movie really didn’t think through having the guy being upset that mulan is a girl
Mulan has probably one of my favourite ost along with the little mermaid, man the songs were a banger
please watch more movies with asian casts i love ina on the channel shes so funny we need more ina
Mulan is a baddie fr 🔥🔥🥵🥵
Fun fact: Both the men and women in ancient China grew their hair out because they used to believe that hair and nails were gifts from the ancestors and that cutting them was a cardinal sin.
3:10 Calling all Filipinos. Lea Salonga is being mentioned. 🚨🇵🇭🎶
Never thought Jack saying “demure” was on my bingo card but here we are
11:31 Dude you don’t know how freaking hard strength training is
My trainer has me lifting 150lb sand bags for a warmup
As a gay trans guy, mulan was one of my favorite movies as a kid, and still to this day
3:30 really do be that way, some older women get jealous when their beauty fades.
there is not a SINGLE bad song in this entire movie y'all are wild
No way i didn't think she was serious about the demure thing😭 the word feels like a meme now like skibidi😂
But demure was an actual word
@@SpillingTheMilk no way yall mfers replied to my stupid ahh comment, it's a good day y'all 🙏. Ik it's an actual word😭
Mushu is such a funny character in this movie.
17:56 Viva Pinata mentioned!!!!
If they watch Viva Pinata I will lose it that would be insane
can’t believe they missed the scene where the grandma said “sign me up for the next war” after seeing shang
10:06 eden did not just make an ereri reference 💀
one of the hardest soundtracks of a movie
Literally, my childhood movie I got so happy when I saw the notification😭😭 maybe Princess and the Frog next?🤨🤨
