    Thank you for the video!!! I love this girl she seemed very informative and extremely comfortable and answered everything we wanted to know. Can you please include a surgical PA? It’s definitely a field I am considering in PA school.

    How do you decide what specialty. I’m considering becoming a PA but I’m not sure what’s best for me. I was considering Patient care, ER or surgery

    This was amazing!! Do you know if there are any PA's in the Ophthalmology field? I am very passionate about this field.

    How did you become a medical assistant with no previous experience? I’m struggling to find a job to get all my PCE hours to apply next year.

      Try to be physical therapy aide, it requires no certificate and it counts towards PCE. Check with the schools your eyeing, to confirm.

      You could also try to take a phlebotomy course and maybe EKG to add to your skills. Then after that apply every and anywhere, except hospitals. Even if it says certified only. Sometimes they'll accept you. :)

      Kendra Lynne why not hospitals?

    • @itsKendraLynne
      @itsKendraLynne  5 лет назад +1

      Chinelo Uchendu hospitals generally require certification

      thanks for the replies! I ended up getting an interview for a medical assistant position at a gynecology office. And also landed a position as a clinical research associate at a dermatology clinical trials unit

    How do you explain to people when they compare PA to NP? Most of the time they seem to believe PA doesn't require as much work.

    • @itsKendraLynne

      I don't know the exact differences, but I just educate them about what kind of schooling/training I had to do :)
