I agree cammer should have been nice and stopped to give his video over to the other guy that was hit but it looks like a pretty open and closed case. Tailgater was turning from a stop sign and hit a guy going straight with no stop sign. He doesn't have much wiggle room to get out of it.

Don't get me wrong. Fault would've gone to the red light runner. But in most circumstances, both parties have some ability to prevent an accident. If you hit the gas just because your light turned green, you are giving up your control and are leaving your fate completely in the hands of the red light runner. In general, it's a good idea to retain control over your own fate whenever possible.

I’m just confused because it looks like the brake lights ARE working they’re just faint. Cammer could also be looking at traffic ahead of the car directly in front of them and see they’re merging in a tight spot along with braking while entering the merge. Cammer is coming off like the tan dodge brake checked them which they didn’t 😂

#19 - 6:20 - Granted, the truck didn't appear to use his turn signal. However, cammer had to have known that the left lane becomes a left turn only lane at the light. At 6:23, you can clearly see the 7 ton box truck moving over in front of cammer's 1.5 ton car. Common courtesy would be to back off and let them in. Instead cammer chose to pass on the right, and then intentionally keep pace with the truck so they couldn't get over, endangering not only their own pathetic life, but also the life of their child.
Why you don’t drive on the right side of a truck for a long time. You can see them better than they can see you.

#1 That looks a lot different than the 401 I drove on in 1990. I was doing 150kmh(90mph), and I was being passed by a lot of other cars(between Kingston and Toronto). I was surprised that the OPP was not to be seen

#14 the 'they have no Brake Lights' doesn't hold any Water where I live, Courts have ruled several times, simply following too close, and not paying Attention., The High Brake Light is on. As the Clip shows a Vehicle lane changing in front of the truck, a slowdown is coming. Even afterwards the Cammer gets up close(we are always being told by Cammers "It is much Closer than the Video shows"....
#15 Whenever I get a Tailgater, I will slow down, for 2 reasons, I now have to allow a Greater Distance between myself and the Car in front of me, cause I can't apply my brakes as hard because of the Nutjob behind me, and it will encourage them to go around me. If they want to Brake Check me, well if I hit them, my Dashcam footage will be shown to Henry Handcuff

#28 Cammer not adjusting speed in a Construction Zone, Traffic was clearly slowing down, for whatever reason, and it was visible. Signage for Speed Reduction, and/or Lane Closure/etc, may have been cut from the front of the Clip

ETA: Also #17 @ 5:45 is also labeled with the wrong location. It says "Washington" but that location is not in either Washington state or Washington DC. It is outside of Cincinnati, Ohio on Paddock Rd at the intersection of Summit Rd

Disagree. It's a one-lane road (wide, but a single lane). You're not supposed to pass until there's a passing lane. Until the car in front of you leaves the lane (road), you're supposed to stay behind him, even if that means stopping and waiting.

They also did not wait 5 seconds after the light turned green to start moving.
Cool thing about videos like this is that you can easily estimate the speed. Minivans are about 16-18 feet long. It takes 9-10 frames to pass the center of the hood (has to be center since cammer is creeping forward). This channel uploads video at 24 fps.
18 ft / (9/24) sec = 33 mph
16 ft / (10/24) sec = 26 mph
So it was going 26-33 mph. Below the reported 45 mph speed limit.

Also kinda hard for the driver of a car to know that a light that they don’t see is out. At least the turn signal lights give you a clue.

0:31 - Yeah, dude blew a stop sign. Why did you stop and create a hazard? Just keep going and move over. You made the problem worse. Also, how do you know they were "clearly going over that"? Do you have radar in your eyes? People are notoriously lousy at assessing others' speed and greatly exaggerate it when they have a grievance.
0:30 - You're in the middle of the road. You tried to cheat the turn after passing all the cars parked on the side. You're still in the middle of the road.
This was also one of those cases where immediately stopping was _not_ the right thing to do. Should've pulled off to the right to give the other car more room.
Remember, the goal isn't to see who is best at following the rules of the road. It's to avoid getting into an accident. Even if the other guy is driving like an idiot, if you have a path to avoid an accident, take it.
@@solandri69 also should be able for a car to make a right turn and you a left turn in that situation. The space is clear on the right to do just that.

#11 It was an old technique to hit the breaks if you loose traction on all 4 wheels. But you need to know when to lift off once the front catches again. This is probably the reason they hit the breaks. They teach this technique in advanced driving school and for racing.
