I would say 10% of driving is skill and 90% attitude. If people can't control their emotions, then they have no business trying to control a car.
Why am I watching this the night before my driving test?
Because you will learn how to not to drive badly. Most of the cammers are great examples of terrible drivers themselves. The ultimate goal of driving is get there safely and get home safely there is no place for aggression and anger when driving.
5:23 Bit of patience, because we've all been there? If you sound your horn you can actually slow things down: they look in their mirror, or can get flustered. Or, angry...😮
7:57 Defensive driving tip: when leaving try not to pass a car nearside in case someone suddenly comes left. You can't do much about the motorhome 😮
Awesome Video
this channel should be called: clips of people leaning on their horn at any mild inconvenience, oh shit its a copper
1:03 Why some can't just wait, is beyond me. Someone commented that they didn't have to because temporary lights dont count! Oh, yes - they do.
1:56; given what we all know about the traditional DPD driver, and his intentions were well telegraphed, I rather think that Alex was deliberately trying to create a clip, by diving for a gap that would almost certainly close...
It is a 2 lane exit and all the DPD driver had to do was to stay in the outside lane as that was the lane he exited the round about from.
Omg we share our roads with this lot
Yep. Unfortunately I will not live long enough to see when we just jump in our vehicle, press some buttons to where we want to go, and sit back while it takes us there safely. It will not try to undertake at roundabouts, tailgate other vehicles or fail to giveway at junctions, or jump red lights. Guess that will be the end of this entertaining channel. My guess is at least 20 years from now though.
Jed looking for content
I'm glad everybody immediately jumped out and ran to help the driver in the first clip.
I'm guessing that's in London, since we're the only ones who are far too busy and important to be decent human beings.
1:55 - Let's be honest, if you post a compilation like this, you've failed if you haven't included a DPD driver.
6:55 - Too right! The police should have continued round the roundabout instead of putting on their blue lights and responding to whatever incident they were responding to.
Walsall, and the cammer in the second clip pulled over.
@@andyalder7910 Pulled over eventually.
Well done to Rich in that first clip for stopping for a human in need! Shame on that car in front!
And because he had just been rear-ended.
Having watch your channel for the last year or so, im convinced that the cars are invisible to the drivers that cause accidents or that their vision is so bad and can see more than 10 feet in from of them
4:36 i think jackson needs better brakes icl
3:15 the cyclist there ought to have stayed in their lane, but equally, they could have turned right from that leftmost lane. As a driver, you should never attempt to overtake a cyclist on a roundabout for this very reason.
I would go further and say don’t attempt to pass anyone on a roundabout for this very reason…DPD clip from earlier springs to mind
As you say, a cyclist can turn right from the left lane and it is explicit within the highway code about this and also for horse riders or horse drawn carriages
If the cyclist is going right then they should also indicate that they intend to do so.
@@MikeC1965 it's not worth saving a couple of seconds to find out the cyclist is not indicating the turn. It can be difficult to turn and indicate at the same time on a bicycle; so never rely on a cyclist indicating.
@@smilerbob a very good point 👍
@@MikeC1965It doesn’t matter. Don’t overtake on roundabout, period.
8:02 - The van may have been in the wrong but there was enough information available for Jed to realise what was about to happen. You shouldn't have a licence Jed.
The punishments in the UK are not hard enough. Drive through a red light here where I live and it's at least a £220 fine a 30 day driving ban, and 2 points on your license.
James H, that dashcam from the Jurassic era?
Legend has it that Jedi Avenger has connected his horn to his brake pedal.
It has to be said that a lot of these clips are just everyday occurrences now….
Yes, it used to be quite fun wathcing the no give ways and the red light jumpers. Now it is boring.
Nice to see more people using their horns in this one !
1:50 Couriers are often in a rush & not always sure where they are. Just staying back a little is better defensive driving.
They should be able to drive safely, eg not veer across lanes!
DPD need to test their delivery drivers! The amount of clips I see on various channels where DPD are involved appears to more then BMW drivers 😂😂😂
9:20 The driver had just been told by the police to take a seat.... He took it literally and took a SEAT 😂
Matthew B - hadn't the car that you beeped at ended up in the wrong lane on the roundabout due to the impatient pillock forcing them over? Or did I misread the situation?
the car ended up in the wrong lane because he entered the roundabout in a left lane then turned right cutting across lanes not once but three times.
@@george-ev1dq Thank you for the explanation - always happy to be corrected!
@@jamjarthecat4205 Good man, respect to you.
2:51 that's gresford roundabout in Wrexham. The black volvo wasn't at any fault as both left and middle lane go to the dual carriageway. Only the middle lane goes around.
5:03 Delivery drivers are...yes, the same as couriers! In any case, just holding back a little equals no issue - even if they stray.
At 03:22 - do you remember from school - "the shortest path between two points is a straight line"?
‘Jed’ is sure gonna enjoy gettin’ a lot of feedback, I reckon.🤔✌️
Why do some drivers make a major incident out of a minor inconvenience, is it just so they can test their horn works.
James H - which pixel was the hazard?
0:30 This is why you do not turn off your emergency braking system!
9:22 DRIVVING? 🤦🏻♂️ 🙄
Drivving.
Off coourse. Howw elsse woulld youu spelll itt?
1:20 Stay in the middle, let him do the Reverse of Shame
Tempting as it may be, they're in a work vehicle, not worth the time spent.
Maybe the car came from a side road not under traffic light control. Maybe the lights were broken, the timing all shot to bits and the car went through on green.
Maybe the cammer should’ve held back on the green light and not assume priority when it is clear another vehicle is already coming through. Green only means go if clear.
You never know, might’ve actually been quicker in the log run rather than faffing around in a tight space
7:57 Great example of why razzing it along country roads is not a good idea. You just never know what's coming along...
Can anyone tell me where clip 4:07 is at? The bit of motorway looks familiar to me, it's near a football ground isn't it?
8:07 nice one Jed he was indicating seconds before so you should of knows what he was going to do but instead you speed up when he does it almost hitting him
Jim D is the real danger
Neil G. You’re driving down the hard shoulder….if the lights aren’t on the hard shoulder isn’t a live lane.
It's an ALR,
All lanes run, no hard shoulder unless stated otherwise.
that clip by Jamie(not me) was in seaton
Nixx - please report that blue van to the police .... they will prosecute if you upload to the police portal for your constabulary.
Someone could have walked out the pub and been flattened
Jim D must be a very sad little man.
Tim clip was funny as for Russ P, other driver was stupid but any wonder when you going about 15mph, soon found his accelerator once the lights changed and couldn’t decide what lane to go in.
It never ceases to amaze me how many drivers are incapable of following lane markings on roundabouts and just plough ahead in the lane they think is right, based on some half remembered mantra their driving instructor told them 40 years ago.
What's with the space between the end of the sentence and the exclamation mark in the description box at the top? Someone needs a Grammarly subscription!
When did DPD become such a meme?
9:46 Some might say the ford had a lack of,... focus,... I'll see myself out.
Funny, how always, so many of these videos are self-incriminating and yet so desperate to get posted they risk both their cars and themselves. Its so much better for all to be a cautious and considerate driver.
6:33 They probably couldn't look. Those are some dirty windows.
Red light runners are truely scary.
another Jed with a horn.
7:27 the car pulled out into L1 (marked by a dashed line) and the camcar in in L2. At 7:28 the camcar wanted to move to L1 yet took umbrage that there was a vehicle in L1 and honked. Why?
Not sure I would call the bus lane in Lobley Hill Rd Gateshead Lane 1, there again I don't drive a bus. Wouldn't recommend driving a car in that lane since it looks to have bus driver controlled traffic lights at the roundabout.
10:03 it's ridiculous how many people don't drive with their lights on in reduced visibility.
10:00 90% of mutants don't have winter tyres ...
That last clip is me lmao, the guy that went into the back of me, shouted at me and then drove off 😂 I was stopping, or trying to stop cause there were cars on the roundabout
AlexD why on earth, when you can see the van coming across lanes, did you think it sensible to tray and get past him?
If the cammers stopped overtaking on roundabouts these videos would be about half as long.
I always love how some honk at cars that do nothing wrong 😂
Spotter hasn’t spotted the single lane roundabouts.
If you mean the "Egham Bypass single lane entry" sign the roundabout has two lanes but only lane 1 exits up the A30. Would make more sense to have the sign in the middle of the road since it's lane 2 that shouldn't exit there.
3:28 that is abysmal. Two reds in a row. And they arent racing, just clueless. Irish plate is that? Can't quite make it out. Still worth sending that in to police I reckon, they need educating
4:09
HC 163 Overtake only when it is safe and legal to do so. You should only overtake on the left if the vehicle in front is signalling to turn right, and there is room to do so
Why did _Neil G_ ignore that?
"In congested conditions, where adjacent lanes of traffic are moving at similar speeds, traffic in left-hand lanes may sometimes be moving faster than traffic to the right. In these conditions you may keep up with the traffic in your lane even if this means passing traffic in the lane to you right. Do not weave in and out of lanes to overtake."
the lane they are in is an exit lane, they can pass any vehicle to the right of them. you do not have to match or go slower than any vehicle travelling under the speed limit (unless the conditions would dictate so). if everyone wants to do 10mph under the limit in lane 3 for no reason then im perfectly allowed to travel at the speed limit in the other lanes.
@@michaelh7741 Perhaps you could cite the law or HC rule that states that. Without such evidence I prefer to assume that normal lane law applies.
@@Leidolfr12 It was not congested.
@@frogandspanner
That would be subjective.
And as above said, a car going slow in the 3rd lane does not mean you have to go slower.
8:52 I expect the videos I watch to not have been shot on a maris piper. Does that count?
@3:38 they don’t have red lights down in Offaly culchie was confused
