This is the potential drawback of automatic safety systems. People drive less cautiously, expecting the safety systems to save them from their dumb mistakes.
e.g. Your car has a blind spot indicator that lights up when another car is in your blind spot. So you get into the habit of changing lanes based on that, without checking your mirrors or over your shoulder. Then one day, the light bulb for the blind spot indicator burns out...
@@solandri69 Thank you, this is a problem that is only going to get worse. As people rely more and more on the automation, they become more and more clueless when it comes to driving and less likely to drive defensively.

Took me 5 seconds to remember why I watch these on mute. Excessive horns.
I always watch them on mute because I don't want to hear other peoples voices and music and often times, hysterical woman shrieking.
I prefer to hear the horn so that I know what the other drivers's in said clip should expect. For example if the cammer is honking at someone trying to merge, the person merging is expected to stop merging. Knowing what to expect from each driver makes it easy to know who is at fault.

I hate to defend this particular cammer, but the jeep didn't start to correct until almost the same instant as she hit the horn. You can't expect instantaneous reaction from her.

I agree with you part way, and I think both parties would have been ticketed. The cammer for (whatever local charge equates to being unable to stop for an obstacle on the road), and the company for obstructing the road.

@@harrylook7810 It's not legal. You aren't allowed to ride bikes or scooters through crosswalks for this exact reason. You have to WALK them through the crosswalk. If you want to travel at traffic speed, you have to follow traffic laws.

Exactly. Looking around you. Looking at the crosswalk, making sure someone isn't walking across. You literally can't see someone flying up from behind if they are on the sidewalk doing 10+mph. That's why you aren't supposed to ride through crosswalks.
No DL required for riding a bicycle or e scooter. Some intelligence and situational awareness ARE required to survive-
4:00, white truck, apparently set up as a "chip truck" for use with a treechipper? Stopped on pavement, not on shoulder. No DOT#, company name & address on side as required. No 3 warning triangle reflectors set behind at correct distances. Bet driver also doesn't have a CDL and needs one for that GVW.
There is no shoulder city puke that's a ditch. He had plenty of time to stop instead of illegally crossing double yellow lines.

One could argue the white car was obscured by the A pillar owing to the driver being sat much further left and back than the cam position. Doesn't mean I'm right, but a possibility

It's to protect our fragile little minds.
RUclips tends to come down hard on videos showing people getting hurt, even if it's in accidents, from disabling monetization to issuing a community strike against the video and channel (which can get the entire channel disabled/deleted). So they're being cautious. Blame RUclips, not MegaDrivingSchool.
It weakens the viewership of this channel over time.
If youtube deems a video to be too violent, it marks it as mature, reducing viewers.

Well, he was supposed to let the car go first since it was already in the intersection. Because he insisted on going across the crosswalk first, he caused the car to block the intersection while he crossed.

The unobservant cammer didn't notice the crazy driver was forced over by the vehicle in the far right lane. Fortunately the crazy driver had just enough room to move left thus inconveniencing the cammer. After that things go downhill for both idiots. At least the bully in the far right lane got off scot free.

@@priyamanobal the point of watching car crash videos is to see car crashes. I complain when people dont include the lead up to a wreck, either. Especially when they try to play the victim, but seems like they instigated things. That doesn't always make it their fault, but dont try to say you didnt do anything, then cut out the part that shows you doing something stupid.

8:54 i don't think you were in the wrong at all. That other semi not only waited until the last second to try and cut you off, he did so from the right and while taking the opposing exit. He knew what he was doing well before the split in the highway.

Are you talking about the jeep? Since it never left the right lane, I don't know why you would say it's making a u-turn. The Jeep just seemed to be changing lanes to me. On the other hand, the cammer sped up to get beside him long after the Jeep's turn signal came on. The cammer was purposely blocking the Jeep, thus the near miss is on the cammer.

Just a quick question. If a driver is traveling in the center lane of a 3-lane highway, they are approaching an entrance ramp/merge lane, they see someone about to merge into the slow lane, should they move over to the fast lane and give them a 2-lane buffer zone?

2:30. Always ALWAYS LEAVE at least (bare minimum) half a car length behind people. That way if your hit from behind you won’t smack the person in front (hopefully) and if they reverse there is space and time to honk. 0 reasons to be at the bumper. I stop far enough back I can see the street and the entire back tires of the vehicle.

1) voted themselves the highest fuel tax in the country in 2017,
2) requires special blends of fuel that nobody else in the country uses and so can only be sold in California,
3) gives refineries the shortest amount of time in the country to transition between summer and winter blends, leading to shortages since no refinery wants to be stuck with unsellable product.
All of these drive up its gas prices. Then the politicians have the nerve to blame it on oil companies. Funny how the rest of the country with the same oil companies don't have this problem (national average price, which includes CA, is currently $3.20/gal).

It's not just a white line though, the one on the right was driving down the shoulder.

0:50...I travel that way everyday as I live in SW PA and I work out of Wellsville, OH (just past East Liverpool, OH) and I take the same way home. I have never had an idiot merge into me or pull out in front of me right there, but I can see that happening.

My driving instructor taught me two invaluable lessons as a learner back in the day. He said 'assume all other drivers are idiots and always look at the car in front of you at a roundabout, not the traffic at the roundabout, unless you're the one in front'. Never had an accident in over 35 years of driving - seen loads though! 🤣

@@SDB1901 look at where he starts to brake. He isn't going left, because he would have moved into the turning line, so the most likely issues are:
mechanical issue with car
something in the road the cammer can't see
he is turning right
Now for 2 and 3, don't blaze past on the left.
Cammer should be all "why is this 'see you next tuesday' stopping here? Need to be cautious, possible danger ahead" but the cammer was "muh right of way, don't spare the horses!"
