It says M6 in his lane at the start of the clip and he wants to go to the M6, are you blind? The straight on arrow in lane 1 means that that lane exits there, remember they do not use left turn arrows in that situation because someone might turn sharp left and end up leaving the roundabout via an entrance to it. Lane 1 turns off and lane 2 moves over to lane 1, or at least that's what is meant to happen.
Absolutely. It may say M6 but it's north. You can't go straight on in a right only lane. It's probably M6S in the left lane, I can't read it. Either way, WRONG LANE!
@@Michael-o2y8h It says M65W in the left lane at 5:06 and that is the first exit. The HGV and both cars are in M65W lane so should take 1st exit so coach is free to use lane 1 or 2 after the junction. CORRECT LANE!

@@andyalder7910 Yes the traffic to the left of the camera car is correct but the camera car is in the wrong lane, he takes the same exit as those in the left lane.
@@Michael-o2y8h The others were in M65W lane to start. how can you say they were in the correct lane if they left via M6N/A6 exit? The cammer let the HGV skip across the M65W exit as he was being helpful, the two cars should not have followed. Cammer ended up in the wrong lane because he helped the HGV, should have moved across and kept the black car on the striped ghost island to force it behind him. BTW, cam is "eye-spy idiots", a coach not a car.

Honestly #17 was a non event, driver's foot might have slipped off the accelerator, might have tapped the brake by accident, who knows. They did the right thing and abandoned the faster merge to slip in behind. Might have caused very slight confusion for the cammer but this was ok driving in my eyes

The cammer is definitely at fault for this one. Maybe the sun isn't in the driver's eyes, but you give way at crossings and most certainly don't drive onto one with people still on it. Pedestrians can be as slow as they like want on a crossing. That's the law. Could've been someone's lovely old gran crossing at 1mph.
@@lsstuff735 Bang on - pedestrians are also advised to wait if they think it isn't safe to cross the zebra so those pedestrians that held back did so for good reason and the muppet driving proved them to be correct.
I always find it’s the BMW and the Audi drivers that think the rules are not made for them because they have a special car, that gives you entitlement and road use that no other cars have 😂
#27 just because you have priority doesn't mean you ignore potential hazards. Seeing how that van was being driven I would have slowed a little as well. Cam car would probably just cause an accident screaming "MY RIGHT OF WAY!!"

17:07 #45 It is an offence to go through red lights even if it is to allow an emergency vehicle to pass. It maybe that a court may take the circumstances into consideration under mitigation circumstances but this is not guaranteed. Were you to have an accident as a result you would be completely liable. It shouts are poor training from the unmarked car. Knowing they cannot get through without asking someone to break the law they should turn off their sirens and wait for a safe opportunity.

I highly doubt anyone has been prosecuted for doing so. If you can go through the red safely and traffic with a green light sees the situation, it is not hurting anyone.

Watching some of this footage shows that some of the drivers eg - the truck at 20:50 is in the wrong and also breaking the law by using the phone .. in that clip there are 3 lanes on the roundabout and he chooses to take lane 3 into lane 2 when it was not his to enter !

The law re phones in cradles was updated in the last couple of years to take into account modern technology such as vehicles that use tablets for controls and drivers who use phone based satnavs.
That junction is badly designed. Daryll is in the correct lane. Lane 1 is immediate left for A34N; Lane 2 is for 2nd exit M3N so traffic in that lane needs to scoot left sharpish on entering the roundabout; Lane 3 is for other exits.
Interestingly, if you look at the satellite image you can see clear tyre tracks showing most cars do as the Tesco van did, and I think a billion years ago it was both lanes around but you ended up with local traffic getting trapped.
The right turn that happened on the red light despite having the opportunity to go 3 times on a green is still valid,as he's already passed the stopped line way before turning red. Important thing is to leave asap if being in such situation. 34

#45 you are not obliged to move out of the way for any emergency services vehicle, but many people do so because of obvious reasons. It here are red light cameras at the junction, crossing the stop line (and therefore activating the camera) is still seen as breaking the law. You will still get a fine/points/course, whether you were moving out of the way for a police vehicle or not.

So many people, you included, don't understand that on large roundabouts a straight on arrow means use the next exit and right turn arrow means go straight on. They do not use left arrow on the road because someone would do a sharp left and leave via the entrance! This is explained in CD 116 - Geometric design of roundabouts.
@@andyalder7910 At 5:16, the arrow the lane the cammer's in shows that lane goes right. Not straight to the exit. Whereas the lane on the left has a straight arrow to the exit.
@@akj2387 That's after the coach was forced out of lane at 5:09 by the black car driving on the ghost island. It is not disputed that he ended up in the wrong lane but that's because all 3 other vehicles should have used the previous exit leaving him clear to use lane 1.
@@andyalder7910 Ohh right, makes sense. I get it now. He should've merged behind the lorry that made the mistake, but the black car stopped him from doing so.
Guess that's why he held back at the lights, but then the silver one made the situation even worse at the end.
I'm assuming the silver car was behind the cammer originally, then correctly went into the exit lane behind the black car after the first exit, but then probably got pissed off at the cammer trying to merge at the end.

#33 I would argue despite your side having priority, the BMW was there first.
The whole point of the sign giving priority is that you shouldn't enter the narrowing when doing so would impede oncoming traffic which has priority over you, regardless of whether you were there first. If it was first come first served, the sign would say "first come first served" not "give way to oncoming vehicles".

Look again at the road markings. Left lane is first exit M65 so cammer is correct, the HGV & the two cars are in the wrong lane.
At 5:10 when the m65 W exit is passed, canner should’ve headed left you can see m6 on road and m65 E is the lane he is in. It seems counterintuitive but if you watch slowly the cam car is in wrong lane.

#3 - I always try to avoid moving from L3 to L2 if that would place me in the blind-spot of a trucker in L1. The impatient Audi or BWM driver up my arse tends to object to my delayed return to L2 though, as they have no consideration for others and they have substandard hazard perception. 🙄

Police said me once they cant find the driver who took my mirror. My insurance find it in around 6 hours. I call them to fill claim on morning and same day afternoon they already told me who it is name of his insurance company and where to drop my car to fix it. Strange
