Thing is.... IF the police had only seen it on a video, would they have contacted the driver? If not, why not ? Still. good to see people actually getting stopped for that sort of stupidity.
NA64 OFX The car who hit the van. Three crimes I know of: 1. Leaving the scene of an accident. 2. Failure to report an accident. 3. Driving without due care and attention.
#75 merge in turn, m8, merge in turn. If you had let him in it would have caused zero delay in your journey, maybe a few seconds. Instead, you caused a dangerous situation and further delayed yourself and everyone around you to serve your ego.
#84 What an embarrassment posting someone tailgating the Scottish Gas van. They were keeping up with traffic at a safe distance. The check was justified when the cammer went beyond tailgating to a dangerously close distance. The irony of suggesting the Scottish Gas van thinks they own the road wasn't lost though! Absolute weapon!
#9 Don't care what anybody says but trying to exit a multi lane island directly from the offside/inside lane is asking for trouble. Why not move into the left lane first then take the exit??
#52 Dont be afraid to call out the police, ive had that happen to me, swapped lanes with no indication and I papped at them, they moved back i to lane, waited for me to pass and then pulled me. LoL I told them I papped as they swapped lanes and didnt indicate, nor did they see me oin their blindspot and that I used my horn within requirements to let them know I was there, I then asked why I was pulled over and that I have camera footage, they made an excuse they thought I was in distress and just let me go, I reported them to local authorities. 😂
22:22 #52 Indicators are not actually compulsory but highly recommended (rule 133 of the Highway Code). In this instance the police car performed the lane change in a completely safe manner and it affected you in absolutely no way what so ever or at worst cost you a few seconds at most.
So Lucas needs to get a grip and realise that tailgating is also careless and dangerous, no matter if you're annoyed that someone is in middle lane, leave correct distance
24:17 #56 Kudos to the dashcamer. Cyclist made the mistake but instead of blowing their horn and aggressively overtaking or abusing the cyclist the dashcamer patiently let the cyclist go and went on their way stress free. :)
I live in Peterborough but my son lives in Whittlesey. There are 2 ways to get to Whittlesey. But when the roads are flooded, all the HGV drivers have to use the A605. It is a very dangerous road to drive on. I nearly crap myself driving these roads 6 times a week. The 40 mph speed limit is ignored so I spend a lot of my time driving on the far edge of the road to avoid speeding HGVs. It is brown trousers time!
#23 They cyclist was correctly positioned in the road. The cammer almost stopped, which most motorists or cyclists would assume was an invitation to continue across to the junction. However, on a bicycle I probably wouldn't have crossed - if you misinterpret the signals (as here) lycra always comes off second best to metal.
#59 (25:59) complaining of being tailgated while driving just half a second behind the car in front yourself lol. Only a fool breaks the two second rule.
Some of these dash cam vehicles need to learn the highway code, one of them in the right hand lane then decided to turn left and wonders why he got hit
#83 No excuse for the brake check, BUT this is a 60mph limit road until you reach the Millstone pub nearly a kilometer ahead and had been 60mph for over 5km previously. If the cammer thought that it was only 30mph and was driving accordingly, I can understand the pick-up driver's frustration.
31:40 Checked the reg and it's an SLK 200 (1,991 cc 4-pot) - there'll probably be a speaker in the exhaust OR it's had an engine swap without notifying the DVLA (and by extension, insurance company).
Since dashcams I find an increasing number of accidents where it seems that the person technically not at fault has allowed an accident to happen just because it’s not their fault. The accident in many cases could have easily been avoided. Remember, when you buy car insurance one question is “have you been involved in any accidents in the past 3 or 5 years”- no mention of fault. My insurance renewal has come in at £550 my last accident was in 2008 and I have over 25 years NCB on an 8 year old Astra. Best thing to note is you have a responsibility to minimise the liability to your insurance company. Keep this in mind when you drive and complain about increasing insurance costs. We all pay for your accidents.
#35 - I sympathise with the trucker because too many drivers are doing this. However, I wonder if this is equalled by the number of truckers who dangerously tailgate cars?
#22 - commits to passing a vehicle without anticipating traffic that may get there first. Other cars follow the trucker through who can't see a damn thing ahead. Amazing how few drivers are required to f--ck things up.
#17 - Somebody isn't driving right as they are going to pass me on the left. I know, I'll respond by closing down the gap and put myself right at the point of collision.
I had somebody rear end me at a roundabout. He hopped out and said to me "Shit happens" i said "Follow me into B & Q. When we parked, we saw the front of his car was fibreglass and completely crumpled and hanging off, scraping on the ground on one side, where he had hit the towing hook on my vauxhal carlton. At that point when he started swearing that my wife, who had been sitting in the back, came out. His face went white when he realised i had a witness and she said,"Yes, you went into the back off us, so you were out of control, so its your fault, Shit Happens", we went into B & Q leaving him picking up his bumper and putting it into his back seat. Not a mark on us. That hook proved very useful over the years.
Tailgating vs doing the speed limit in the middle lane. Please do hand over the video to the police 84. It should earn you the local version of a dangerous driving charge!
Clip 71 - At 32:01, we can clearly see the aggressor’s reg plate. After the driver floors it, we then see the victim (OP), do the exact same thing to catch up with and force him to a stop, but yet again the driver leaves the scene. Why did OP feel the need to chase after and confront this idiot when he didn’t need to ? The aggressor could have been armed or an unstable individual. Which is more important, your car or your life ?
#95 it wasn't a merge lane, it was two lanes and yours was blocked with traffic. You forced your way into the other cars lane. They were right you did nearly hit their car, and you tried to brake check them and shat it and flooded it when they were actually going to hit you.
31:10 #69 (nice) > The soot and grime on the left-hand-side was a big sign that it been modded and would be spewing sooty black smoke Plus, smoked (pun intended) rear lights, lowered suspension, possibly stretched tyres, and sticker / IG handle on the rear windscreen
#22 don’t start trying to blame the other driver. It was your fault 100%. The obstruction was on your side of the road and he had right of way. It’s all very well being all gracious at the start and admitting it but turning round at the end and saying “he had literally just come out of there” then “I wonder if he was looking at whatever was in his right hand” completely undoes that “graciousness”. Don’t be a twat. It was your fault 100%.
#7 you could see the cars coming before passing the row of parked cars, you could have easily pulled over and let them pass seeing they have right of way as your carriageway is obstruced
#98 was the cammers fault. He should have seen the limited space and let the Audi through but he kept going and effectively closed the road by not waiting where there was room.
22:19 Police get basic BMW equipment which I assume doesn't include the optional extras like indicators, which most BMW drivers don't specify when buying their vehicle as they never use them anyway.
#6 snow and hills. That was caused by two opposites affected by physics. Speed was too great BEFORE the descent begun, then on the descent the realisation came it was too fast and braking was applied above what the road/tyre surface friction could sustain grip at. This with gravity being now on a hill caused motion to increase the speed. Trying to steer onto the side road to avoid the hill the car was then put into a tail after nose spin resulting in a side impact with a brick wall. In short everything short of accelerating and handbraking was input by the driver to prevent this and all too much or too little too late. Word of advice... never drive up or down hills in winter unless it's life or death.
#70 31:44 yeah unfortunately that's just a slow 2.0 "AMG Line" with only 181 BHP, the only difference being it's got a loud exhaust and a fake AMG badge from the looks of it.
The most annoying trend on roads nowadays is people thinking they’re in HGVs and swinging their cars all the way to the left or right of their lane before they make a turn. I see it all the time. Don’t know wtf is wrong with them. The amount of times I’ve nearly been driven into because some moron is trying to take a wide birth is ridiculous.
#3 - Worst Stobart driver I’ve ever seen! #30, #47 & #80 - Whew, those were the longest wait for our mate Lucasz ever, he’s still a magnet for idiots poor chap! #32 - No wonder he was struggling, the planners ought to be jailed for, that configuration, never seen such a contradictory mess! #57 - As bad as it gets, no visibility, single lane and crossing double solid white lines. #71 - Cammer drives recklessly and pulls a stop on the idiot tail-ended, that’s a case of Two Wrongs not making one Right. #75 - The right hand side of Merge Lanes are for, guess what, Merging, if everybody used both lanes sensibly the queues would be reduced! #84 - Cammer, you’re way too close to the lane hogger, if you’d opened your eyes you’d have seen he was not the only one! One might say that you too were hogging the lane! A lot of people who seem to driving without having had a lesson, let alone taken a driving test.
33:38 or just hand the footage to your insurance company and let them deal with it instead of driving dangerously to catch up and harrass a female motorist
4:10 As we've said here many times, hanging back a half second saves so many problems on roundabouts. Hang back at this point and the end result would be a bit of a tut from the daft car in front cutting in front of you. As it is, cammer has to speed up and rushes to overtake and again we have the collision. Yes, car in front's fault, but again, would you rather be right and hitting them, or just hang back and get home in one piece?
#66 29:04 (Blocking bus) Is another shite Beemer driver. He clearly has huge problems reversing and seems to be so terrified of touching the curb with his precious shiny rims and glossy tyres that he keeps half a metre away from it.
15:10 - the ambulance probably got an emergency call right at that moment and judging that there wasn’t a lot of traffic coming up behind them, they moved over pretty quickly to the off lane. Time is of the essence in an emergency ! Put yourself in the situation - would you be happy to know that an ambulance took ‘the long way round’ to get to your loved one’s seriously ill or injured episode because they weren’t allowed to cross a lightly trafficked junction because of wondering what people, like yourself, might think and due to the detour, that loved one lost their life ? No, I didn’t think so !
21:59 #51 You see a idiot lose it on the roundabout and still think it wise to keep you foot in it, nearly causing a crash? If you had of hit him then most likely you would be considered at least 50% at fault and more likely 100% at fault as you would have rear ended the BMW.
All these incidents happen every hour every mile. As a H.G.V. driver I and we truckers have to endure this day in day out. Regarding the Astra and the Golf incident it is normal behavior on our roads. Many times I had thought not braking, hitting the car in front. Teach them a lesson, my excuse " I was looking in my nearside mirror got cut up couldn't stop my 44 tonne in time". But no too much form filling e.t.c. I always say a little prayer, "Father forgive them they don't know what they are doing". We are supposed to be living in an intelligent educated society, there are a lot of stupid dangerous idiots on the road. I retired a month ago, do I miss it a BIG NO No.
Had a complete idiot reverse out onto a main road in front of me yesterday. Wish I’d got dashcam footage because it was brilliant. I warned him I was approaching with the horn and, apparently that bruised his fragile masculinity so that he had to come and explain how it wasn’t his fault. Mr Delicate: “You don’t have to beep, I couldn’t see you”. Me “that’s the point, that’s why you shouldn’t have reversed out and why I warned you I was here, Have you passed a driving test?” Mr Delicate “*string of very non delicate expletives* I can show you my camera that shows I couldn’t see you”. Me “ congratulations, so you can prove you shouldn’t have reversed out”. At this point Mr Delicate tries to open my car door. Unfortunately for him he’s obviously not a good neighbour either and his neighbour has heard the row and is having none of it. I just watched the bloke crumble and walk away as he was called names even I wouldn’t use, and I would’ve called him a “rancid, sh*t spackled pair of kecks”
No lane markings on the roundabout means assuming someone's destination from their position is a terrible idea. It was a wide roundabout, so the car could've done way better at making their intentions clear as well, though.
Ambulances, small motorbike versions and all the way up to full sized Paramedics, can 'own the road' as far as I'm concerned. Whilst we see Audi's making their own lane and BMW's seeing gaps that no other road user see's, not to mention their 17 stage rules on indicators. And I haven't even mentioned Taxis or foreign HGV drivers on roundabouts. Ambulances don't need to concern themselves with rules. For good reasons and the only ones on the road who do.
#23 - except it kinda is. He was turning BEFORE the cammer even came over the hill. Had obviously signalled to ca behind him, come across and was preforming said manoeuvre, but militant cammer and anti-cyclists will always hop on the "you cant defend this cyclist" band wagon. Hell, as the cammer turns at 10:15 you can see the cyclists hand move from a signal to the handle bar. He even hesitates because now he is thinking "can i make it before this speeding up car?" So he waits. The only "stupid arsehole" is Julie B.
I'm only 20 minutes in watching this. The Stobart driver should be sacked. Also, the DPD van driver should be sacked. Most of all, the ambulance driver should be banned from driving till he or she retook the driving test again. Like what we have too. He or she could be an excellent paramedic, but a shit bad driver.
8:39..the laugh of the chap spotting the cop pulling mr impatient queue jumper was priceless. 😂
Thing is.... IF the police had only seen it on a video, would they have contacted the driver? If not, why not ?
Still. good to see people actually getting stopped for that sort of stupidity.
NA64 OFX The car who hit the van. Three crimes I know of:

almost rear ended the van trying to get away...
well done chap, one step closer to being a police officer
You're right, Speed doesn't kill. It's the sudden stop that does 😅
#22 trying to blame everyone else but himself lol
Can't believe #84 thought, "I'll send that clip in. It definitely doesn't show my driving in a bad light at all."
Right? I think Lukasz needs to redo his hazard perception test.
#75 merge in turn, m8, merge in turn. If you had let him in it would have caused zero delay in your journey, maybe a few seconds. Instead, you caused a dangerous situation and further delayed yourself and everyone around you to serve your ego.
Honestly, what a bell end thinking he's in the right lol
I hope the police were informed of the 64 plate Audi that failed to stop after rear ending the van.
Doubt it. The cammer didn’t stop, and the van driver wouldn’t have got the number.
All asda vans have excellent cctv. No way the Audi got away with that.
I don't usually laugh at people's misfortune but the "gent" that skipped the queue with the Police behind was worth a chuckle.
#84 Cammer was an idiot for tailgating. No matter what lane the idiot in front is in you should've left room to stop.
Exactly!
The Scottish Gas van wasn't an idiot, look at the traffic ahead, he was keeping a safe distance.
#53 - yes, a stupid move, but well done on helping fixing the problem quickly. Great attitude!
Never move from the scene of an accident lol. Asking for the guilty driver to flee.
So Lucas needs to get a grip and realise that tailgating is also careless and dangerous, no matter if you're annoyed that someone is in middle lane, leave correct distance
Usually I don’t see roads that I routinely drive, in videos. So it’s weird to finally see some that I drive on regularly
#71...no need to chase the offender really..registration plate would be enough to convict.
Yep, probably broke the speed limit to catch up. Also he cut someone up to get behind the Corsa as well. Lovely driving.
24:17 #56 Kudos to the dashcamer. Cyclist made the mistake but instead of blowing their horn and aggressively overtaking or abusing the cyclist the dashcamer patiently let the cyclist go and went on their way stress free. :)
#22 Is a 🔔 end. His lane was blocked no excuse for that lol
All your campers have forgotten that Audi BMW and Mercedes have different speed limits and driving rules to the rest of us!
They are better cars, it seems like a logical view point to me
I live in Peterborough but my son lives in Whittlesey. There are 2 ways to get to Whittlesey. But when the roads are flooded, all the HGV drivers have to use the A605. get a dashcam & report them to the coppers
#96 Thank you for perfectly demonstrating your distracted driving technique.

on the manchester road out of broomhill, just before crosspool. cyclist is turning right down shore lane past lydgate middle school.
#32 Those lights are a joke.
Yep, almost seems designed to confuse.
#59 (25:59) complaining of being tailgated while driving just half a second behind the car in front yourself lol. Only a fool breaks the two second rule.
Tailgaiting is the new norm im afraid, its getting worse every week.
#24.......all the tipper driver had to do was ease off the gas a bit and let him in.
#81 - the police weren’t using their sirens because it probably was a covert operation 😂
#13 - large lorry indicating to join my lane so I'll accelerate to stop the merge. The cammer doesn't seem to understand who the tit is.
Ambulance may have got an emergency and then had it cancelled because a nearer veh became available
First clip, kind of feel bad for the BMW driver. Second clip, Stobart is gonna Sobart.
#29, the hysterical fool again
Some of these dash cam vehicles need to learn the highway code, one of them in the right hand lane then decided to turn left and wonders why he got hit
The driver of NA64 OFX: you are a coward.
#29 He knew not to use his phone on his test.

I'm going to assume they're trying to get a replacement car on someone else's insurance.
I had somebody rear end me at a roundabout. He hopped out and said to me "Shit happens" i said "Follow me into B & Q. Tipper Driver letting them in....no. He couldn't pullover as he was been overtaken, it is for those on the slip road to adjust their speed

#13 would be so much easier to just let the truck merge, instead of acting like a brain dead child.
I hope #27 was reported to the Police, or though the way it was being driven it was probably a stolen vehicle.
10.13 the camera driver is making excuses but he is clearly at fault, his lane is bloked and he just wanted to pass
no 84 you were tailgating
and ignoring his own words...
Most families only have one licence that they all use. Driving test is ancient history that most don't bother with, hence atrocious driving.
Why would they?
Rubies are red, Emeralds are green, not making a rhyme just stating the facts.
Lucask needs reeducating!
#49 the car was already on the roundabout the biker should’ve held back
No lane markings on the roundabout means assuming someone's destination from their position is a terrible idea.
1:41 and the next one are pure examples of the muppet show us HGV drivers are treated to day in day out!
A bmw drifting a round about...lets almost ram it!
