Builds like this are great for kids... in a good way. I put together an optiplex case swap with a i5-3570, 1050ti, and 16gb DDR3 1333mhz for my 8 year old daughter. She was OVER THE MOON when I gave it to her. It plays all her favorite games, the RGB fans look cool to her, and most importantly... she now has a PC like mom and dad do. And for the games she plays, it'll hold up for years. We just beat the Co-Op Campaign(?) of Portal 2 together, and we had so much fun playing it.

Nice build! Iceberg Tech posted a video earlier today where he built a £200 ($254 USD) PC with mostly used parts consisting of an RX 5500, Xeon E5-2680 V3 CPU and dual channel 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and he was getting 95 FPS on Fortnite at 1080p Low, 61 FPS on Cyberpunk at 1080p Low and 67 FPS on Red Dead 2 at 1080p "DF Console Equivalent settings". For $200, used is definitely the way to go. It's crazy to me when uninformed console people act like you have to spend $1,500+ just to get a half decent PC. No, $200 isn't gonna get you super far, but it will do more than what a lot of people think it can do.
@owenj2394 Absolutely. That console has aged way worse than the other current gen consoles. It's a good start for xeon builds, but as an experienced assembler of similar computers from Russia, I have some tips for you: you must definitely use the 4-channel memory mode, as this will allow you to achieve a read-write speed of the ddr4 level. I understand your distrust of the nvme slot, but believe me, there are much fewer problems with them than with the bios on these boards. It was necessary to use a good nvme drive, at least 500GB (kingston nv3000 as an example). The choice of 2048sp is literally the basis of assemblies in this price segment, the brand you have chosen is quite good in quality, but I also advise you to consider the Chinese division of asus, namely colorful, in the future, since brand new graphics cards are sold under this brand at a lower price than in the USA. Regarding motherboards, yes, you're right, these are used chipsets, but they are installed on brand new boards, although their quality can vary greatly from seller to seller (the brand most often does not mean anything for such boards, although in most cases we buy xuananzhi boards).

Awesome video My computer of 12+ years just broke on me for the 3rd time so it’s e waste now. Am wondering what I could get on an extreme budget that is pre built. Anyone familiar with one?
I'm new to this... Looking online I see that the GT1080 is rated slightly better than the GT1070 yet is priced about the same for pre owned models on eBay, is there a reason I should prefer the GT1070?
There isn’t, but you Might be looking at the wrong cards. Be sure you are looking at “GTX” and not “GT”, without the X, it’s literally like ten years older so just be careful. Yes the GTx1080 is significantly stronger than the GTX1070
@@JasonWitmerYT I understand, I see now yet eBay must have already corrected me automatically because I looked up GTX1080 and got the same results as before, about the same as the GTX1070, so i will be going for that instead. Appreciate all the help, I'm bringing my old computer back to life based off this build! Will be getting the motherboard combo for sure. Thanks alot.
Thank you for making videos like this. Since I am very much broke and my half year old new gaming laptop died and fixing would cost me so much money (cannot claim warranty due to laws in my country). I have been looking into other options, your videos are great. I think, I might be able to make PC for price, that is cheaper than fixing the cursed laptop.

unfortunately, rx 580 2048sp (rx 570 basically) is no longer enough. cyberpunk isn't a new game and it can't run it at medium (don't use fsr at 1080p for your eyes sake). i'd like to see the 2650v2 limitations though, maybe with a 3060ti ?
I agree - I’m not a huge fan of the RX 580 anymore, but it’s generally the best at the price point. I might try the Xeon again in a video that isn’t focused on price
i think saving up extra 100 ish $ and getting a320 or cheap b450 and ryzen 5 2600/x would be better. cuz you are gettting half the performance for the cost of 100$ rx 580 can do much better

Can you do a tutorial putting the pc together?
It’s pretty straightforward, but I’ll do a guide in future
Bought the same motherboard cpu combo and the fan and neither came with the mounting bracket/supports to mount it. Anyone know where to buy them?
Love the content and I absorb all the information I can get and find and don’t have a lot of money to spend on a new high dollar game pc and been wanting to get a budget pc tower I could play games on and I was wondering if it would make sense for a new cheap build or if it would make more sense to just buy a used pc like a OptiPlex pc and upgraded it as I don’t care about RGB and the pretty stuff just want to have a fast machine that can handle everything games and surfing and videos smoothly so any help is greatly appreciated 🤙
If you went for A B450 and A Ryzen 1400 it would be much better for a little bit more
Love the build, but the fan connector is looking a bit bent at 8:29 hahahaha, no wonder they were 11 dollars💀
Haha I didn’t notice that - luckily it still worked!
bros got sunbear d20
Awesome video
My computer of 12+ years just broke on me for the 3rd time so it’s e waste now.
Am wondering what I could get on an extreme budget that is pre built. Anyone familiar with one?
Thanks cause I get 200 dollars for every chrismas and I am using a Xbox this will help a lot with exclusive games like ground branch and ready or not
I'm new to this...
That’s awesome, have fun and thanks for watching!
Do another optiplex vid
I can be a discord kitten? say no more!
how do you put cable extensions in a pc that uses a non modulare psu
So they fit on the end of the cables coming out of the PSU, merely extending them. So the ugly cables stay on the back and the nice ones in front 👍
Thank you for making videos like this. Since I am very much broke and my half year old new gaming laptop died and fixing would cost me so much money (cannot claim warranty due to laws in my country). I have been looking into other options, your videos are great. I think, I might be able to make PC for price, that is cheaper than fixing the cursed laptop.
how many fps on CS2? replies are appreciated.
finally someone who doesn't call $1,000 a budget.
Should’ve uploaded this back in November, I wouldn’t had bought a bunch of games 😭😭
Why is it raining in the background?
I only bought half a roof :(
im not reallyy an expert about pcs i want to get one that could run games like elden ring or steam vr games dose anyone know a good budget pc that could do that? (my budget is about 600 euro)
closer to 250
Nice Video ❤
look at cpu util. its not stable at all. i think its better if u go with old i5's or i3's
Generally yes, but it’s a $200 PC so gotta check all options
Hi, I wonder if coding 2D game would be confortable on that thing ?
Yeah should be fine!
now i just need the money 4x this bc inflation and then learn how to build a pc
thx btw 👍
it costed me $262 with the exact same build as yours
Can this handle fivem (gta 5 roleplay)
Yep
unfortunately, rx 580 2048sp (rx 570 basically) is no longer enough. cyberpunk isn't a new game and it can't run it at medium (don't use fsr at 1080p for your eyes sake). i'd like to see the 2650v2 limitations though, maybe with a 3060ti ?
I agree - I’m not a huge fan of the RX 580 anymore, but it’s generally the best at the price point. I might try the Xeon again in a video that isn’t focused on price
Is there any special I need to do in bios to install windows on these motherboards?
Nope, should be good to go if you’re installing windows 10
Bro is a Facts Machine. 😂🤣
What was the total system power consumption
i think saving up extra 100 ish $ and getting a320 or cheap b450 and ryzen 5 2600/x would be better. cuz you are gettting half the performance for the cost of 100$ rx 580 can do much better
Would this pc also work with a gtx1660 super instead of a rx580? Or would that be a bottleneck
Your voice reminds me of Lester from GTA V lol
How dare you
