Good to see an honest post, difficulty lighting fire, fire going out, no steak, finished up with the washing up that most bush crafters never show. All this stuff would have been edited out/not posted by most RUclipsrs making people think it's always easy - Which it isn't. - Keep up the good work

I was thoroughly amused from the start - boots stuck in mud, losing a sock, getting covered in mud, used up all your firestarter, a robin flew off with your half cooked steak and a wonderful lesson in dish washing. What's not to laugh? My mom would have complained about the clean pots were going back down on the filthy ground as well. Oh what's a little bacteria, eh? Wonderfully amusing, I watched until the end. Loool. I was actually looking for videos on how people used the Kitchen Sink. Yours was tops! Humour, wisdom and wit. Thanks for sharing.

Sorry but i am going to have to be that guy,,,,,,,, but why didn't you cook the steak in the saucepan over the spirit stove?
Lack of fuel is the main reason. Only brought a small amount of fuel and was relying on the wood stove to do its job! Which it usually does on every occasion, but this one.
I have one it just collapses and most of the water runs out !
It's best to fill it before use. I have had really good results, although I did fill it too hot one day, and mine now leaks slightly. It still works, though. Take it easy.
Sea to summit suggest to fill the sink 4/5 the size of the sink so the water doesn't run out.
