I got a 70 liter backpack ready with trekking tent and winter sleeping bad and insulated sleeping pad. Still need buy a 15w solar panel from Decathlon (or maybe even 2) and 2 power banks just to make sure I can charge my phone + nintendo 3ds and ambernic gameboy for retro (old) games. My main concern would be food but Ive been a few times without food for days and hunger goes away after a while of not eating so that part its not as painful as I expected but if I ever go self suficient in the middle of nowhere I might need to improve a lot of gathering/hunting skills (with maybe a slingshot as rocks is easy amno found everywhere or if I find a nice fishing spot could also focus on that).

Happened to me, homeless in Ireland. Had to camp out in a forest but luckily got a temporary place for winter. Horrible feeling

£616 a month, you might aswell find somewhere quiet and put your tent there for free.

Check you have a rubber washer in your gas bottle connection to avoid gas leaks also watch out for carbon monoxide from burning gas in tent

I've been homeless twice in my life mainly because of my own fault but I fort my way back and luckily of still got my lovely family but it was far from easy it took me years to get a home worthy of my family but any one in this situation my advice is don't give up keep fighting work your gutts out you'll get knocked back but don't give up courage and guts and you're make it god bless you 😢😢😊

I couldn't imagine a better place to live off grid.. you have no major predators or crazy weather.

Just a small tip m8 if your trying to get a rubber hose onto a metal inlet or outlet just spit into the hole and will slip right in😂 Best of luck 👍

idk why but I noticed dudes as long as they got access to somewhere to poop and shower, we dont mind a tent at all, I guess as long as weather doesnt suck.

I have one of these coffee kits and have to say my favoured method is using boiling water in a flask. Speeds things up and clean up is easier. Great stuff mate.

After a while of being scared shitless and really cold.. an old friend allowed me to stay on the floor for a few months before "housing" got me into temp accommodation! Was there for 8 months.. total length was just over a year.. Crazy how much you'll miss the things that become a norm.. being able to keep things fresh missed my kettle and fridge something rotten.. Ill forever be grateful.. its a long process but it'll happen. its only up from here ❤️🙏. Oh an ill never eat a pot noodle ever again.. lived on them for way to long lost an unhealthy amount of weight and a drug problem 🤢😢. Be glad you have each otther ❤️. I found god 😂❤

Propane is a combustable gas, and fittings are left handed threads for a reason. It also has cutouts on the nut, so even if you were blind you could figure it out.

I was homeless for 6 years , you do feel embarrassed, however there's nothing to be embarrassed about. I pray things get better, the crap never lasts forever . If you're ever up scotland , i dont have much but i can offer a hot shower some home cooked grub . All the best to you and the family ❤
