Nature Hike in My Favorite Forest!

Let's go on a nature hike to one of my favorite forestry tracts. We see moose sign, rare plants and a unique bog. Royce also finds a special treasure!

Great time of year to just knock around the bush . ie no bugs and better visibility without foliage . I always wore a hunting boot with a vibram sole . Yes it was aggressive .Happy trout opener in Algonquin . Too early for serious lake fishing i always thought.

Love that dragonfly clip-on! Is there one like a bat to deter mosquitoes? Looks like Royce wasn't the only kid in the candy store - you had a great time even including landing in the bog, lol!
