I think he knows what helps convey the excitement and joy of experiencing the beauty as he explores. To me it’s the ambience of nature that makes it all the more satisfying.
Australia here! Great content and beautiful scenery! Please do not go into water filled mines, especially hot water ones! Water leaches heavy metals and toxins like arsenic and your skin absorbs them. You have seen green rocks on your adventures, these are rocks with high levels of copper in them (copper goes green as it oxidises, like how iron goes red/rusty brown). All these metals are associated with other metals, which are toxic to humans. Never swim in those old mine ponds, lakes. Take care and thanks for the wonderful beauty you show the world. Louis.
Hey Louis, appreciate the concern. I knew this one was safe to swim in in advance. Otherwise, fantastic advice that I will be sure to adhere to. Cheers m8!
I’ve been around. All 50 States and 27 countries. Lived in 8 of those. Yet I’ve never explored the mountains and cavern of the West. I really, really appreciate your sharing the footage. You’ll remember the adventures fondly when you’re older and can’t physically do that anymore. Better to remember than regret not trying.
@@ashleydaniel3215 It is for some of us. Disabilities and age do a number to being able to get out and hike. (Mine is the disability part) I had many plans and they all got canceled or put on the back burner so to a back injury and a couple surgeries. I can't hike much more than a mile or two and I'm done for a week. I used to be able to do 10 miles without issue.
Get into fpv drone flying. It is good for the body, you'd be amazed! A lot of us ex-skaters/surfers/snowboarders from the 90's grew out of it but we end up doing that instead because it still somehow gets the blood pumping. No matter what era you are from, I highly encourage you to look into it. Bless 🙏
As a wildlife control agent in SW Virginia (JDF Wildlife - YT) I thank you for bringing awareness to the great benefit bats provide for the environment. One of my favorite aspects of being a WCA is the fact I get to help educate folk. It's incredible how easy one can calm another's anxiety just by providing a little knowledge in a compassionate manner. I know as far as we are concerned in SWVA our bat populations are generally very healthy. Currently, our biggest concern with rabies is brewing in the fox population, which is sad, but even so, the number of cases is still very low. As far as I'm aware, bats are generally the least likely to have rabies compared with racoons and foxes. Anywho, thanks for a great exploration video. That was quite enjoyable.
Great to hear from an wca having hands on what is happening with the environment! Keep us informed on the guy's videos, I think he's got a good following and fine thing going on!
Please listen to your Aussie. I have three. My belated mama Aussie woke me , to let me know that I was in danger of a stroke. My sweet heart was correct, I ended up having a small stroke. It caused me loose hearing in my right 👂 and weakness. Aussies have these wonderous abilities . Seriously, listen to your dog.
I used to do this, go to places in the American southwest with my dog, my VW bus, and stay to hike, swim, all alone. There's is nothing more gratifying to my mind, nothing. Thanks for taking me there again.
I answered and said, "If I have found favor in thy sight, O Lord, show this also to thy servant: whether after death, as soon as every one of us yields up his soul, we shall be kept in rest until those times come when thou wilt renew the creation, or whether we shall be tormented at once?" 76 He answered me and said, "I will show you that also, but do not be associated with those who have shown scorn, nor number yourself among those who are tormented. 77 For you have a treasure of works laid up with the Most High; but it will not be shown to you until the last times. 78 Now, concerning death, the teaching is: When the decisive decree has gone forth from the Most High that a man shall die, as the spirit leaves the body to return again to him who gave it, first of all it adores the glory of the Most High. 79 And if it is one of those who have shown scorn and have not kept the way of the Most High, and who have despised his law, and who have hated those who fear the Most High -- 80 such spirits shall not enter into habitations, but shall immediately wander about in torments, ever grieving and sad, in seven ways. 81 The first way, because they have scorned the law of the Most High. 82 The second way, because they cannot now make a good repentance that they may live. 83 The third way, they shall see the reward laid up for those who have trusted the covenants of the Most High. 84 The fourth way, they shall consider the torment laid up for themselves in the last days. 85 The fifth way, they shall see how the habitations of the others are guarded by angels in profound quiet. 86 The sixth way, they shall see how some of them will pass over into torments. 87 The seventh way, which is worse than all the ways that have been mentioned, because they shall utterly waste away in confusion and be consumed with shame, and shall wither with fear at seeing the glory of the Most High before whom they sinned while they were alive, and before whom they are to be judged in the last times. 88 "Now this is the order of those who have kept the ways of the Most High, when they shall be separated from their mortal body. 89 During the time that they lived in it, they laboriously served the Most High, and withstood danger every hour, that they might keep the law of the Lawgiver perfectly. 90 Therefore this is the teaching concerning them: 91 First of all, they shall see with great joy the glory of him who receives them, for they shall have rest in seven orders. 92 The first order, because they have striven with great effort to overcome the evil thought which was formed with them, that it might not lead them astray from life into death. 93 The second order, because they see the perplexity in which the souls of the unrighteous wander, and the punishment that awaits them. 94 The third order, they see the witness which he who formed them bears concerning them, that while they were alive they kept the law which was given them in trust. 95 The fourth order, they understand the rest which they now enjoy, being gathered into their chambers and guarded by angels in profound quiet, and the glory which awaits them in the last days. 96 The fifth order, they rejoice that they have now escaped what is corruptible, and shall inherit what is to come; and besides they see the straits and toil from which they have been delivered, and the spacious liberty which they are to receive and enjoy in immortality. 97 The sixth order, when it is shown to them how their face is to shine like the sun, and how they are to be made like the light of the stars, being incorruptible from then on. 98 The seventh order, which is greater than all that have been mentioned, because they shall rejoice with boldness, and shall be confident without confusion, and shall be glad without fear, for they hasten to behold the face of him whom they served in life and from whom they are to receive their reward when glorified. 99 This is the order of the souls of the righteous, as henceforth is announced; and the aforesaid are the ways of torment which those who would not give heed shall suffer hereafter." 100 I answered and said, "Will time therefore be given to the souls, after they have been separated from the bodies, to see what you have described to me?" 101 He said to me, "They shall have freedom for seven days, so that during these seven days they may see the things of which you have been told, and afterwards they shall be gathered in their habitations." 102 I answered and said, "If I have found favor in thy sight, show further to me, thy servant, whether on the day of judgment the righteous will be able to intercede for the unrighteous or to entreat the Most High for them, 103 fathers for sons or sons for parents, brothers for brothers, relatives for their kinsmen, or friends for those who are most dear." 104 He answered me and said, "Since you have found favor in my sight, I will show you this also. The day of judgment is decisive and displays to all the seal of truth. Just as now a father does not send his son, or a son his father, or a master his servant, or a friend his dearest friend, to be ill or sleep or eat or be healed in his stead, 105 so no one shall ever pray for another on that day, neither shall any one lay a burden on another; for then every one shall bear his own righteousness and unrighteousness." .....2 Esdras 7:75 ///////////
I think the absence of music during the drone shots is what makes this so unique. It pulls you in; it's surreal, as if you're experiencing it with you; it's my second favorite part, aside from the great storytelling and dialogue. Keep up the great work and be safe out there. This is quite literally my new favorite RUclips channel
Give your dog all the love you have, he's obviously bonded with you and that's so special. The two of you are an exceptional team. Keep up the great work. (Please)
11:30 my friend, I'll give you some advice: always listen to your dog if he whines and appears nervous, they have much more developed senses than ours...
It might sound cruel but when I moved to the mountains in Virginia I knew that we have a pretty significant black bear population and whenever I had to walk outside to my car at night I’d always have my dog go first and if everything was okay, then I’d go out! I’ve had my share of too many close encounters with bears while living here. I always trust my dogs instincts and nose!
They’re the guardian of the first warning ⚠️ After they give us the signal it’s our turn to pay close attention to what they are sensing in their surroundings and stay focused on their actions to help keep us safe. Border Collie life is very arduous and dangerous for them. But they will always be right out in front to protect and clean the path.
This is the most criminally under-subscribed channel on RUclips. Thank you so much for taking me to incredible places and to see things I’ll never see in person. What a gift this channel is. Stay safe ❤
There is so much to find in Utah! Thanks for putting a new perspective on bats for me . I am a 54 yr old disabled lady in NC. I have FSHD2 Muscular Dystrophy, so my hiking days are long over when I lost my ability to walk (as well as becoming more and more bed ridden). Have you ever explored the Appalachian Mountains in North Carolina? I never got to hike/explore the Blue Ridge Mountains as much as Appy. it would definitely be a heavy bush whacking deal to get around and of course we have a dense pop of bears. Man, I can't thank you enough for bringing your explorations to full life for us all. Much love and respect from a Lil ole lady in NC, US.
I think this channel just may be the best exploration channel on RUclips. There’s something about the way you do these videos, that makes them so beautiful. The cinematography, the adventure, your voice, no music. It’s all so perfect, it’s so satisfying and beautiful. Please never stop making videos of your travels.
I think its because he has a more "raw" approach, he just sees something cool and shows it to us. Not a huge over the top production with 100 unneeded drone shots, constant cuts, random edits or anything
I think he could just a exploration on he own back yard, some people it and he's got? like top gear they could talk an old rusty larnmower a made an intresting program out of it
Look up meltology channels, like on the grand canyon, its all melted building on the scale you can never imagine. I swear it is .... Some enormous rocks are in equilibrium which is impossible naturally, you have straight lines all over the place and rocks integrated in a concrete like texture, nothing about this is natural. Thats why there are natural parks everywhere and thats why you cant access freely the grandf canyon, there were egyptian ruins look it up .... Im desperate for these theories to reach the grand public ....

My Aussie was a fabulous hiking dog and protector. So smart!. I always had herd mixes from the shelter, finally had to have a purebred Aussie but from an ethical source. Like magic, went to the shelter and found one who had been waiting for me there for 2 hours. He was about 1.5 years old, taken in as owner surrendered. Had him 11 years, died unexpectedly 7 years ago. I still grieve that best dog in the world who waited for me.
They are special little creatures. Sorry for your loss. I treasure every day with Toohey and am happy I can show him more of the world. And, although the comments might make people think otherwise, I always make sure to keep him very safe and protected.
I see that you do. I was also painfully aware that if something disabled me while hiking, he could be doomed because I believe he would stay with me regardless. It made me more careful, as you are.
The drone scenery is so magnificent that it is easy to forget or overlook how that footage even comes to be. And then, how it comes here to be seen. The sandstone footage could be so easily taken for granted. Nice work. All round. Quite an accomplishment for a guy and his dog. He is doing it, y'all.
I was born and reared in the west. Northern Nevada then Southern Nevada. As spent lots of time in southern Utah and Northern Arizona. All God's country. I would want to weep when it came time to leave. Such beauty. None of the elbow to elbow with people....just you and yours. So beautiful. I am grateful to be spending time with you as you explore. Thank-you.
YESSS! I thought the exact same thing!!! This whole planet and its diversity and then there's this little Yucca perched on top of this precarious rock that is so amazing in its own right.. Love it. And just as us, it will live its cycle and move on one day just as we will. Wish more people would really understand we are a blip in a time-line.. I am thankful and love that anyone can now document their travels and adventures to share with all of us.. .
It reminded me of 2 things, a bonsai, and the fact that life is tenacious. Seeing a plant growing on a rock is why I think there must be life on other planets. Life is literally everywhere it can possibly be here on earth and I don't see why the rest of the universe would be different as long as the conditions for life are present.
@@robertbraun7155 Imagine the fact that a Yucca seed somehow managed to drift up there, land in the tiny tiny amount of soil that somehow was never blown off the rock, plant roots and grow.
Please, don´t go alone, on this Camping and Hiking Tours. And more important, carry a "PLB" (Personal Locater Beacon) in Case of an Emergency. A lot of People, vanish, in the Woods and in Remote Places, even in National Parks. Please, be careful and always, take someone with you. A second Person, not only a Dog. For your own safety.
You have a significantly higher chance of dying in a car accident. So don't drive anywhere. I know it was snarky, but being alone in the wilderness is as 100% safe as you make it. Beacon, knife, lots of water, multi tool, firearm, good walking stick/spear. Most people take a risk to see that next ledge or try to see what's down that and they take that 100% down significantly. Hunters go out in the wilderness alone, early morning and dark when the predators are hunting, and they do this regularly throughout the year.
Agree you can go alone with the dog but make sure you have the backup if something goes wrong. Becon extra water, first aid, check the weather, etc but also leave a note or tell people your where about and for how long. Takes one slip, a bite or bad weather and sadly you may not make it back.
None of anyone's business if I choose to go it alone in God's territory. Biblical pattern: the fathers of the faith would go to the wilderness in order to be alone in the presence of HaShem and commune with Him. It is my right, and the right of anyone to practice this. My advice is to teach the next generation to be well-informed, rugged independents, and to reduce oversight by any means, including technological oversight. Begin by making it culturally unacceptable to fear disaster or calamity by empowering the youth with incredible insight, knowledge and skill in survival, and common sense. Then flood the courts, hearings, and polls with our voices and votes until "they" are afraid of overstepping their boundaries. I hate the new drone policy, as an example. I am a Jewish believer in Jesus, so naturally I am inclined to be lawful and passionate of the covenant we made with God when the First Nations reached out the to Great Spirit as well as when the pilgrims who co-habited peacefully with them and dedicated their travels to our Lord by covenant, the God who gave us unaleinable rights and intends to perfectly keep His end of the deal if we would respect His authority to empower and protect us. This is privacy. This is higher spirituality. This is God's country. 🇺🇲
Thank you for letting us go on the adventures with you, as a young girl I along with my sister would spend all day climbing and exploring caves in the mountains of West Virginia. I agree it is so refreshing not to have music playing in the background. Enjoying the sounds of nature is music to my ears!
I don't know if you'll see this comment but I really want you to know how much I enjoy your brilliant videos. Your filmography just gets better and better! Stunning views of places I can never go as I'm disabled and live in the UK. Thank you (and your gorgeous dog!) for all the adventures you take me on ❤😊Xxx
It is incredible what drones have done, they opened a view of the world not before possible to capture in a safe way. Thanks for the stunning views of the canyon. Take care and be safe always.
@@kickinon As someone who's spent a lot of time on google earth, the american southwest is an area that is very easily to explore virtually. All the canyons and overall lack of vegetation makes it much easier than most places to find spots like these

Your dog is having a fantastic time. It'll miss all the adventures when it gets old. I wish more youngsters will choose nature and exploring the wild over drugs and misery. The place is totally gorgeous. I wish myself there.
The beauty of the canyons valley of greenary alongside the river brought tears to my eyes. Your video editing skills and equipment quality are excellent. Sincere Thanks...
Around 13:35 when you spoke of the aemba (idk how to spell it). My father at 8 year old had something similar in a pond in Tennessee. This was 1970s. It went in one of his ears, ate the inner ear went to his a part of his brain. He has a sheep skull and had to have alot of reconstructive surgery. He almost died and he had to take penicillin (which he is allergic to causing him to almost die twice). He is 58 now and suffers with speech, hearing issues and a lot of other health problems. I think he is partial blind in one eye. I dont know much about him but i do remember this from child hood.
You are absolutely right: you do have the best dog in the world! You sure had him worried when you were in the mine shaft/hot springs, though. He really wanted you to get out of there, and was much happier when you were in the river together and he could keep an eye on you. Those rock formations were beautiful and strange. And finally...the bats! Holy cow, I've seen bats many times, but never in such vast numbers. Thanks so much for sharing all of this with us. I really enjoyed it.
My sister got married on the Annandale Ranch near Concan Texas. There is a bat cave on the ranch that is famous. Multi millions of bats emerge starting as early as 3pm in late May because it takes them so long to emerge with there being so many. It is an awesome display and the entrance is level with the ground atop a small ridge so you can stand within feet of where they are blasting out. Amonia small of the guano is pretty overwhelming though. Big hawks and eagles hover way up in the sky and then dive through the formations of bats catching one for dinner. The bats will travel nightly down the Rio Grande valley eating bugs along all the agricultural areas.
I just returned from the Grand Canyon and a trip out to Nevada! Looking down at the Grand Canyon from my airplane window, I was so curious and wished that it would be possible for me to explore all the cool canyons that were observable from above! Your videos are so wonderful to allow me to do this! I am just a little too old to be able to do what you are doing! Thanks for adventure through your lens!!
Thankyou so very much for your outstanding contribution on taking me with you on these adventures. I think your videos are so helpful to my generation of old age pensioners. I am well into my 70s now and do not get out and about much. So your videos are an outside link to nature for me. Really well done you, ABSOLUTELY 👍 love the fact there is NO silly music 🎼. Just the awesome sound of nature, especially the sound of water flowing.and birds singing. Looking forward to your next outing. Once again thank you 🙏. Take care, Stay safe, Keep warm. Kind regards, from a ARMCHAIR ADVENTURER 👏👍❤️🙏
Between you, Desert Drifter and The Trek Planner, I get to explore areas of our country I'll never see in person. I must say however, your drone footage is second to none. I LOVE your dog!

Actually looks like a castle and history tells of cultures poisoned and erased. They would have been safe inside and looks like animals had been brought to shepard but probably got deemed needing rescue to reduce resources for a culture they want to eliminate... Bats probably dropped guano for plant growth in the line of the water that collected bugs.
Sad to hear that you are limited to not go hiking :/ But you have one thing that most of the youtubers don't, you have knowledge of what it was like in USA back in the days, you could always start telling stories about how it were living back when most of the youtubers wasn't even born :) Maybe you know something about any of the places this guy hikes to? Or maybe other locations that today have changed. You could contribute in your own way even though you aren't able to go hiking :) I would definitely follow your channel if you began telling stories or something else interesting :) I wish you all the best! Take care and god bless!
Fantastic video. What is your education...and yes you have a great dog. Im 61. When I was 25 I was doing what you are doing with my Border Collie, Max. Enjoy it young man. It goes by quick.
I am 69, and my arthritis caught up with me. So I had to slack off the hiking and biking for the last couple years while I have been saving up and getting ready for a hip replacement surgery. But now I have to go researching with the clues you gave us to try and find this spot. I have been to Wind River a couple times, but there appears to be a lot more sandstone where you are.
The type of flocking they do is called a “murmur.” If I recall correctly. There are chimney swifts that nest in an old brick school tower in their migration route through NE Portland.
I’m 49 now but when I was 18 I went with an Elder named White Dog to this cave. Over 2 days we harvested over 2000lbs of guano. We watched the bats leave on their migration south first then harvested! Ah good times
Some years ago I visited the area of the four corners to see the ancient Anasazi places. I felt very drawn to this places and your walks along this canyons and your awesome drone vids blow my mind. I am a German retired lady travelling round the globe now 🙂. God bless you and may keep an eye on you wherever you go
You have the best sound track. Nature! Just beautiful. Thanks for taking me all over these beautiful parts of the world from the comfort of my home. I have traveled places through you. You are amazing.
That was brilliant! I remember twenty years ago when I lived on Malta for a year and explored the island obsessively I came upon Gnejna Bay in the north. It features a Death Valley looking sandstone butte that separates two popular bays and so I promptly explored the goat paths and little coves of the butte and I found that the flat-topped butte was honeycombed with caves around its base, some of which had faint signs of smoke stains on their roofs. Then one day I saw, just sticking out of the sand by the water a strange, amber coloured object. It was a beautifully fossilized section of some big rib off of some kind of creature the likes of which is long gone from Europe. Then I realized that both ends still showed the signs of extremely sharp cuts, like a butchers cleaver. I noticed that along both flat sides of the rib there were multiple repeated slice scars. I sat there looking out over the Mediterranean and I realized that, at the very least, this was a relic of at least 200,000 years ago or more, long before Homo Sapiens wandered in. Until the Ice Age ended, no doubt Neanderthals lived in this series of caves as high as up as a castle tower with a view over miles of grassland which the Med has since covered. One night perhaps a woolly rhino or a mammoth had been butchered and with a great deal of precision one of our Neanderthal foremothers had delicately stripped the meat off this enormous piece of spare rib with a stone tool as sharp as a razor and passed it to one of her family, probably saying, "Eat it before it gets cold, and don't wipe your fingers in your hair!" The bone was then thrown down the slope, turning to stone, where it lay until I found it.
I love that you are not giving people directions towhere you are. Gives people inspiration to find these types of wonders of their own. I also love that you talk about leaving places better than you found them. It takes all of us to experience the magic, without disturbing the wild nature of it...and thanks for warning people about the brain burrowing ameobas...kudos!
Ya I hate it. Americas largest pit mine is in Utah. Geronimo was said to be born in New Mexico on the Gila RIver RIver, So yes what a beautiful place ......how annoying I had to do this to figure out where it is.
A lot of people living on the east coast that have never travelled out west can't quite grasp how vast it is in some places. You could be out in nature and not see another human for weeks. It's no wonder why people end up missing never to be seen again. What a great video!
I was thinking the same thing about how big and vast The West is and most people can’t imagine it cause they haven’t seen it I’ve been across this great Country twice and it is awesome stunning and so vast in size it’s unbelievable I loved it ❤
I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos and listening to rushing water and nature sounds. You’re doing a great service by bringing isolated places with grand scenery that we would otherwise never see into our homes for people to watch. Thank you!
Your drone footage is amazing, you feel as if you're flying through those rock formations to the point that I actually felt a bit dizzy. Your four-legged friend is the best travel companion you could ask for, thanks for posting these awesome videos.
ok, there is also an amoeba that can get in through the urinary tract. No Lie. Not only through the nose. Be super careful. I would never go back into that cave in the water. Great video. Wow...all the sunshine. You are blessed to be out there.
@@alegsb3943who do you imagine designated (ownership and policing, access, narrative) of our country’s national parks? Karen? No, it was the same people who setup the matrix you grew up in. Stay sleepy my friend.
Thanks for documenting everything, that big open pit mine, and other current industrial happenings, are a great reminder of how it doesnt take much to irreversibly lose the history and context of our world.
Gave me a start, when I first saw him (?). Sorry this is the first of your videos that I have seen. Our Aussie Tricolor looked very similar and her name was Sheila. Can't believe that it's coming up on a year since she passed away.
I am approaching 70, and I heartily agree. His use of natural sounds -birds, wind, water, footsteps in dry vegetation - so very refreshing. This is my first time seeing his videos, but it will not be my last!m
Thank You so much for taking us places with the drone, that most of us will never see. The hot springs and the waterfall are beautiful and amazing. Skal
Absolutely breathtaking! If I wasn't so old I would love to see these places! I did some of this kind of thing on horseback in my youth. Back in1980 I was out on a horse trek and discovered a wagon wreck in a small canyon. It was really cool too because everything was still there. The skeleton of the horse was still in the harness, a great deal of the bones were missing though, but the spine and ribcage were still there. The wagon was torn up and all the things that were in it were still there as well. It looked like there was once an old road that wound around this little canyon but the road sort of just got slimmer and slimmer until it was no more. Maybe the wagon driver was trying to turn around when the wagon and horse went over the side. There was no sign of human bones but lots of human belongings. That was one of the coolest things I ever found on one of my horse camping trips! I love your videos very much and very happy that you don't use a lot of annoying music!!!
Found your channel yesterday! I am hooked! I look forward to the next one. I think i've seen ten episodes so far. I've been bingeing, lol. Your channel is amazing, relaxing to watch and just beyond words. Thanks so much for sharing your adventures ❤

Its so beatifull to hear no music when you fly with the drone. The sounds of Nature are so perfect. Your videos are very relaxing. Greets from Germany ❤
Thank you, Nolan for sharing the awesome bat cave with us all! I appreciate bats because they keep the mosquitoes in check. Years ago, I accidentally stepped on a baby bat in our accommodations at SalmonCon in North Bend, WA. My husband and I slept in a converted silo which a bat mother had a nest in the ceiling. A baby fell down to the floor and I stubbed it with my toe in the dark. We had a bat expert on the premises so we brought it to the bat guy to take to a facility to care for it. The baby was so cute and I let it grab hold of my finger and took a photo. It lived for a week but was apparently sick and eventually died. I didn't want them to kill it to find out if it had rabies or not. I never got it so it maybe was just weak and couldn't hold on to its perch. I'm also a spelunker so I'm not afraid of bats or the dark. I wanted to add that your drone videos show us vantage points we would never see any other way. Totally AWESOME footage! 😁👍
Thank you for the no music. ❤ Back in the western days Clifton made Tombstone look so peaceful. So much history. There is also a cave with a stone table, believed to been used for human, adults and infant, sacrifices.
I can appreciate the deep sense of solitude from frequenting such places. I imagine it must fill you with awe and wonder, when you alight upon little pockets of history. Thank you for your content!
I loved your video. These rock formations have always fascinated me. Thanks so much for the drone footage of these rocks; at 78 and will never be able to hike like I did as a kid, watching your video was so fun for me. It was as if I were right beside you.
Cool adventure. I wish I had a drone when I used to regularly go exploring. The geography there is interesting. All the layers of sandstone appear to contain rocks and rubble throughout. Depending on what they were mining there, could be a great spot to find concentrations of "something" at the bottom of the canyons. I am an Aussie so I don't know the history of this area, whether this it was uplifted through plate tectonics, glaciers, or former flood planes but it is unusual to see the larger rocks mixed throughout all the layers. If you are a regular adventurer, it is handy to know some basics of geology, minerals, fossils and gemstones because finding untouched fossicking or metal detecting locations is some of the best fun you can have.
Amazing channel. Give that dog a hug for me. I lost mine a few months ago after 18 incredible years. The world's most magical animals. Having a dog is the most amazing experience I think a human can have.
... one of the most beautiful films I've ever seen. I'm in southeastern Arizona and I have some idea where you're hiking. Thank you for this amazing piece of film; but please be careful out there.
The people who built those shelters were survivors of a time when elemental forces whipsawed the Earth, rains poured from the skies for days on end, earthquakes shattered rocks, leaving huge crevice's stretching across the land, as massive amounts of water poured across northern Utah, into the ancient basin we call the Four Corners region, today. Not "millions of years ago", but more like 4,250 years ago, at the start. Less than a thousand years ago, the waters began their descent into the Grand Canyon their passage had carved, on their way to a distant sea (some 700 miles away), leaving the desert we know and love, today, in their wake.
I love that you don’t add music to your drone footage, thus not diverting our senses from the epic visual beauty.
But this guy have made the most bieutifull YT video whit a drone footage + an amazing music 😝
I think he knows what helps convey the excitement and joy of experiencing the beauty as he explores. To me it’s the ambience of nature that makes it all the more satisfying.
Yours are some of the most amazing videos on the Tube. I am jealous…..
The sounds made by nature are the best music anyway.

Louis.
Exactly! The dog knew better than the human.
Hey Louis, appreciate the concern. I knew this one was safe to swim in in advance. Otherwise, fantastic advice that I will be sure to adhere to. Cheers m8!

I do not recommend Australian proffered coastal walks amid cave sharks.

Mr. You are spot on.
Get into fpv drone flying. It is good for the body, you'd be amazed!

92 The first order, because they have striven with great effort to overcome the evil thought which was formed with them, that it might not lead them astray from life into death. 93 The second order, because they see the perplexity in which the souls of the unrighteous wander, and the punishment that awaits them. 94 The third order, they see the witness which he who formed them bears concerning them, that while they were alive they kept the law which was given them in trust. 95 The fourth order, they understand the rest which they now enjoy, being gathered into their chambers and guarded by angels in profound quiet, and the glory which awaits them in the last days. 96 The fifth order, they rejoice that they have now escaped what is corruptible, and shall inherit what is to come;
and besides they see the straits and toil from which they have been delivered, and the spacious liberty which they are to receive and enjoy in immortality.
99 This is the order of the souls of the righteous, as henceforth is announced; and the aforesaid are the ways of torment which those who would not give heed shall suffer hereafter." 100 I answered and said, "Will time therefore be given to the souls, after they have been separated from the bodies, to see what you have described to me?" 101 He said to me, "They shall have freedom for seven days, so that during these seven days they may see the things of which you have been told, and afterwards they shall be gathered in their habitations."
102 I answered and said, "If I have found favor in thy sight, show further to me, thy servant, whether on the day of judgment the righteous will be able to intercede for the unrighteous or to entreat the Most High for them, 103 fathers for sons or sons for parents, brothers for brothers, relatives for their kinsmen, or friends for those who are most dear." 104 He answered me and said, "Since you have found favor in my sight, I will show you this also. The day of judgment is decisive and displays to all the seal of truth. Just as now a father does not send his son, or a son his father, or a master his servant, or a friend his dearest friend, to be ill or sleep or eat or be healed in his stead, 105 so no one shall ever pray for another on that day, neither shall any one lay a burden on another; for then every one shall bear his own righteousness and unrighteousness." .....2 Esdras 7:75

11:30 my friend, I'll give you some advice: always listen to your dog if he whines and appears nervous, they have much more developed senses than ours...
I totally agree.
They’re the guardian of the first warning ⚠️
After they give us the signal it’s our turn to pay close attention to what they are sensing in their surroundings and stay focused on their actions to help keep us safe.
Border Collie life is very arduous and dangerous for them. But they will always be right out in front to protect and clean the path.
I was thinking that same thing.

See Desert Drifter. He's good too.
I think its because he has a more "raw" approach, he just sees something cool and shows it to us. Not a huge over the top production with 100 unneeded drone shots, constant cuts, random edits or anything

Some accounts pluck my heart strings. Your words came to me as a familiar music.

The drone scenery is so magnificent that it is easy to forget or overlook how that footage even comes to be. And then, how it comes here to be seen.
Haha I loved that. it has the best view of any Yucca in the world I think 🤣

Aren't there snakes waiting for the bats too?
Wow, beautiful. They are amazing and their method of navigating their environment is mind blowing!!

They would have been safe inside and looks like animals had been brought to shepard but probably got deemed needing rescue to reduce resources for a culture they want to eliminate... The type of flocking they do is called a “murmur.” If I recall correctly. There are chimney swifts that nest in an old brick school tower in their migration route through NE Portland.
Thank you for sharing your video with all of us.
I’m 49 now but when I was 18 I went with an Elder named White Dog to this cave. Over 2 days we harvested over 2000lbs of guano. We watched the bats leave on their migration south first then harvested! Ah good times
Oh yea we got all the Guano out of the canyon by floating it on rafts
What did you use the guano for?
@@bajajoepoker we took it up to Trinity county ,ca for the growing of the “Flowers “

Thanks! Great stuff to Google!!!
Thanks for the kind words about Bats. They are one of my very favorite animals, and they get a bad rap sometimes.
They are amazing! I think because they are so different from us, people have a hard time understanding them.

Paul Cook has some pretty interesting findings on Malta...
No Neanderthals no 200000 years of history...ancient people were more advanced than today.

U R welcome i love a good hike. Never know what youll run across. MIND Blowing to see how breathtaking and historically rich our country is.
Shouldn't be too hard to find by one of the largest open pit mines in the world!!!
Ya I hate it. Americas largest pit mine is in Utah. Geronimo was said to be born in New Mexico on the Gila RIver RIver, So yes what a beautiful place ......how annoying I had to do this to figure out where it is.
What a stunningly beautiful area! And the dog is cool!
A lot of people living on the east coast that have never travelled out west can't quite grasp how vast it is in some places. You could be out in nature and not see another human for weeks. It's no wonder why people end up missing never to be seen again. What a great video!
I was thinking the same thing about how big and vast The West is and most people can’t imagine it cause they haven’t seen it I’ve been across this great Country twice and it is awesome stunning and so vast in size it’s unbelievable I loved it ❤
Another fantastic adventure
Keep up the great work and stay safe 👍🏻
I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos and listening to rushing water and nature sounds. You’re doing a great service by bringing isolated places with grand scenery that we would otherwise never see into our homes for people to watch. Thank you!
Your videos rock man. It's inspiring to see that there's still plenty left to explore on this planet - and you're actually doing it!
Your drone footage is amazing, you feel as if you're flying through those rock formations to the point that I actually felt a bit dizzy. Your four-legged friend is the best travel companion you could ask for, thanks for posting these awesome videos.
Epic. it's a rush to fly in a place like that for sure.
ok, there is also an amoeba that can get in through the urinary tract. No Lie. Not only through the nose. Be super careful. I would never go back into that cave in the water. Great video. Wow...all the sunshine. You are blessed to be out there.
But it was so nice and warm...

Right! All cacti have a similar structure. The open areas are part of what make them efficient at water storage.

Such a cool journey into the wilds of Arizona!
Thank you for sharing!
I thought that was Arizona I’ll never forget when I went through there the incredible canyons and mountains 😅
So beautiful and emotional to travel into the distant past and imagine the lives of the people who lived there. Thank you so much. XOXO
Thank you for the no music. ❤
Back in the western days Clifton made Tombstone look so peaceful. So much history.
There is also a cave with a stone table, believed to been used for human, adults and infant, sacrifices.

I loved your video. These rock formations have always fascinated me. Thanks so much for the drone footage of these rocks; at 78 and will never be able to hike like I did as a kid, watching your video was so fun for me. It was as if I were right beside you.
This is better than NatGeo, without background music, lots of information, and of course amazing visuals... great! I love this! 👌
Wasn't it a thrill???
Beautiful Canyons and scenery 😍
Would not want to be those slot canyons without knowing weather forecast

It’s beautiful !! Great shots ! I can’t believe you went into that water . Anything could be in that water .
