- This is a compilation album by Native American artists to benefit Leonard Peltier. Cover art by Mr. Peltier. This album is available in small stores and specialty shops even though the large internet sites often list it as unavailable.

I've only heard LEONARDS name through the music of Zack de la Rocha,This is a very good song.l often sang a few songs ,my fav being lRISH REBELLION song n the battle to stop British rule in EIRE.I WILL NOW B INCLUDING LEONARDS BALLAD,THANKS JIM PAGE.GOD BLESS THE PEOPLE OF NATIVE INDIAN BLOOD.

We played this song on LEONARD PELTIER DAY (declared by the Oglala Sioux Tribe, on June 26th). on our radio program Bay Native Circle out of Berkeley, California on KPFA. I grew up listening to this song, and it's more necessary to share still.
What a lovely name! My nickname is Dovewoman. There is a reason, but I was not named by a family member. Things are no better for Leonard yet, and I will email you within a few days @ some private info I heard last month. It isn't good for the movement. Thank you for standing so firm for this man! Leonard Peltier painted the picture on the front of this album and his artwork is beautiful. Just to be mean the FBI and the people at the Federal Prison let him go to an art exhibit a few years ago. They thought his paintings were an ugly joke and wouldn't sell. But once he was offered thousands of dollars for 2 of his paintings the Feds got so mad they cancelled his participation and said his paintings were not for sale and loaded him and all of his paintings up and returned him to prison. That is the amount of hatred the government still has for us, The Native Americans and it is sickening, sad and so very hard to understand unless the very sight of us is a reminder that this is our country and everyone is living on stolen land. SMH.

Time to do research and write President Obama a clear, well-founded polite letter demonstrating to him that the most important positive decision of his two terms of presidency should be granting Leonard Peltier clemency as he leaves office.
+Stefan White There is a movie/documentary called Incident at Oglala that has so much information in it. Incredible movie & shows that the entire mess was just that...a mess! Convictions with NO evidence. Some of the FBI victims were shown to probably have been killed by "friendly fire". freepeltiernow.org/incident.html
Funny, Robert Redford visited me in California when he was putting it together. I think he thought I might be able to help him, but he had much more capable people than me working on his project
