- This 2001 release is a compilation of various artists. The album has some wonderful tracts and it was put together as a fund raiser for Leonard Peltier. It is a great album with great artists coming together for a purpose.
It is difficult to find this album in main stream venues, but I have often found it in small, independently owned shops. I highly recommend you purchasing it for the music and for the reason it was created. Here is one link to which you can donate to Peltier Defense Fund if you choose to do so. Joan Shenandoah is so gifted I wonder why she hasn't been
given the proper respect she has earn in main stream USA?

Dear Barbara, thank you for including this CD in youtube. I am honoured to have been asked to produce this album. In a world where one must do a hell of a lot of research to find the truth and have a heart to recognise it, it is an outrage that Leonard is still in prison. Barbara, thank you also for the great blues music you´ve made publicly available and the impressive stills used in your blues videos and thank you for introducing me to Ulali.
+Stefan White I am just seeing this. I love this cd so much. I went to the small place where I could get it, and she says she can't get it now. That makes me so sad. I try to put the artists links up for people to purchase. If you know of any link for this, I will gladly add it to all the songs. I loved history, music, our Earth and her creatures. I have been lobbying for bills and for the animals, so my music has taken a "hit" lately. Wishing you and your loved ones a great coming year! I am so upset about Leonard Peltier. I fear he will stay in prison...he should never had gone to begin with. It was his bad luck to not be in the first trials...our government isn't listening to us or the world! He need his freedom!
The last I tried you could get the original CD (with three less songs) from the Leonard Peltier Defense Committee.

She really is. I don't know why. To make a rather 'rude' comment, guess she needs to team up with Rita. (I love Walela, but think Ulali hasn't gotten the attention, has been around a lot longer, & has really stayed close to their roots. A pet peeve of mine...).
