Context on the song used for the opening: The song that was used (Ken Ashcorp - Absolute Territory) references the Japanese slang "Zettai Ryouiki", which translates to, well, Absolute Territory. It refers to the gap in the middle of the socks and the skirt that shows bare skin (It is also Graded E to A, E being normal high-cut socks and A being knee-high socks). They also coined a "golden ratio" of 4:1:2.5 (4 being the skirt length, 1 being the gap between skirt and sock, and 2.5 being the length of the knee socks above the knee joint) Don't know why it references Gaza Strip but yeah. Also Ken Ashcorp sings in English, so its not a translation at all.

21:35 I would have to disagree. My understanding of the Space Race is that it was little more than a horribly expensive dick measuring contest. Whoever could get into space first would glorify their side, in the interest of some sort of ideological victory. In essence, getting to the Moon first was the greatest power move they could pull on the other. Except, that's all there is to it. Once the U.S got to the Moon, they had taken victory and there was no further reason for anyone to throw money away. The method had been discovered, the possibility had been discovered, the glory had been stolen, what is there to gain? Yes, everyone else could throw more money at a space program to put a flag on the Moon, but that money could be put towards something that actually has merit, like research, or production, or anything other than a dick measuring contest that you've already lost. Especially a decade after, once the luster of a Moon landing had all but disappeared.
>implying that there were little to no technological innovations or expanded research BECAUSE of the space race Pro tip, google "things that were invented because of the space race"
@@AlexGore511 While the process of getting to the Moon was beneficial, actually setting foot on the Moon was almost completely pointless. The work behind the space race was valuable, the space race itself was not.
I'd have to disagree a bit that it was all a stupid rat race. While I do agree that in the end, setting foot on the Moon was more of an ideological/philosophical victory of US over USSR/Man over Nature and Space instead of giving us something substantial, the process of doing it gave us a ton of innovations and stuff that we likely take for granted. The Space Race just made sure that tech will march on and not remain stagnant, as each side will try to get the edge over the other. After all, some competition never hurts. Also, it gave us a ton of insight into Moon, it's climate, it's geography, so to say it's just a dick measuring contest is ignorant.
@@hajimeokajima Was the innovation valuable? Yes, innovation is always valuable. Was the effort commendable, and did it give insight into valuable technologies? Yes, it did. And of course, getting to the Moon just to see what it takes to get there is something I'm all for. However, the motivating factor, the competition, the intention to win an ideological victory, that part was almost completely pointless. That's why no one else has bothered getting up there, and that's the part I was making an argument about. The only valuable part of the space race was the work put into it, the goal itself had no real value.
It was certainly an ideological victory, but it was also a financial victory. The fact of the matter is that the USSR was never an economic powerhouse, and the idea was to trap them into a giant expenditure. There were certainly other factors, not least of which being continued support of a communist government, but the space race helped create a stagnant economy and led to the collapse of the Soviet union.
22:27 We really aren't giving the Super Soldier nearly enough cred: Yes, he did a lot of out-there things, before and after this scene, but right here he's casually producing sound while in the vacuum of space. The other feats were BENDING the rules to ridiculous levels, for sure, but this BROKE the rules and proceded to neither pay nor even apologise for it.

The song is about the area of the thigh between thigh high socks and a skirt. The Gaza strip line basically meant that zone is so desired, it is heavily contested. The move looked like a hurricanrana into a ddt.
8:00 uncontrolled mutations, yes, but there are a few mutations that could theoretically be induced and controlled through specialized gene editing. Hell, even a youtuber was able to activate the gene necessary for his body to start producing lactase, and he eliminated his lactose intolerance for about a year before the effects faded. In addition, there's a type of protein produced for muscle fibers that is actually stronger than steel, even stronger than spider silk, so if someone were to identify and modify that gene or set of genes in particular, you could possibly end up with a Captain America scenario. Or make it so the person ends up breaking their own bones with their strength, that might also be a possibility. Also, iirc, Heavy actually has a master's degree in Russian literature, there is no reason he wouldn't be able to read.
The opening song, Absolute Territory, was released by Ken Ashcorp in 2013. It's about the area of the thigh between the skirt and the sock, and the male gaze.
I know im mad late but the song in the opening is a real song from the artist Ken Ashcorp titled absolute territory, thats slang for the region of leg between the thigh pinch of stockings and the skirt.
I just wanna say that that super soldier was clearly human capital. He was on his workout break while the base was under attack and the bosses did not go get him because he was entitled to his break. The lesson here: be a super jacked super soldier so your bosses are too afraid to tell you to do your job.
19:42 And to the top left corner there's a Banking Clan Munificent-class frigate... Which means the Confederacy of Independent Systems is here given the Trade Fed ship (A Lucrehulk, either in Battleship or Control Ship configuration) is decked out in CIS markings. Oh, and for a split second after down to the center left is a Recusant-class destroyer.
15:02 I looked it up the name of the Luchador move and it is called "hurricanada" invented by hernáda Ramirez. Which version of it I am not sure: there's standard, reverse, slingshot (the one on the arena ropes), and maybe one other but I am not sure. The spinning move we often see it with, I believe is a jazz dance move called "the neck wrap." That is the best I was able to figure out after spending 30 minutes looking it up. 18:50 I believe heavy is doing a Jack-O pose and buff engineer is doing a sol badguy reference from the game "guilty gear."
Fun fact, green eyes are seen as a genetic mutation, which appeared because Humans became more nocturnal at one point, or lived in low visibility areas. Also, blue and green eyed people see better in the dark than those with brown eyes, but because of this, those with lighter eyes are more sensitive to the light.
25:00 the frank Sentara cover was the outro for neon genesis evangelion which is a very popular anime, thats why Cen0 added it (blue heavy also goes super sayain right after)
The fact that the opening songs name is literally Absolute Territory (The name used to refer to the exposed skin between a girls skirt and her stockings) leads me to believe that those are the actual lyrics being put on screen.
Oh the reactions are getting closer to anime. When Paul finally gives in and starts an anime reaction channel, I'll have plenty of recommendations lol. I mean there are military anime just begging to be giving the same amount of analysis and breakdown as this video. On the very top of that list would be the masterpiece Legend of the Galactic Heroes. The name is cheesy, but it's a space opera. It covers many types of philosophies, politics, logistics, space war with fleets in the 10s of thousands. With nothing but classical music. It's to old and to deep for most anime reactors, so I fear it's a gem that will remain buried to new audiences.
You did incredibly at pointing out how ceno0 implemented realistic fight moves and even some mil-tech correctly despite how ridiculous the animation is. You have a very good eye for detail!
The Intro song is actually pretty old almost 5 years ago. Made by a guy called Ken Ashcorp, its called Absolute Territory, it is about the area between the kneesocks and the skirt which is the (naked) thigh (most of the time), so it fits the heavies theme of finding Anime thighs.
The Frank Sinatra cover was a cover created specifically for the video game Bayonetta that played I believe only during the ending, where the main character was fighting a figment of God in outer space. The original recording of the song plays during the credits.
The buff soldier guy is supposed to be (or be like) Billy Herrington, who is a over the top macho gay dude. his video and sound clips are often used on Twitch streams. Look up 'gachi' if you want more info and delete your search history afterwards
As an expert on lords of the locker room/gachimuchi lore, I can tell you that both lines that the buff soldier used were originally said by Mark Wolf and not the late Billy Herrington. Also you can totally find a censored version with explicit scenes skipped of lords of the locker room on RUclips. The premise of Paul doing a reaction to it is a bit funny to me and might actually be a little substantial given the plot revolves around basically dudes having a pissing contest on who is more macho by wrestling.
Paul, the song in the beginning is called "Absolute Territory" by Ken Ashcorp, it's been out for a while now and wasn't commissioned for the video, it's a decent song talking about a certain term (Being the name of the song, naturally) Absolute territory is the area between the open skin of the thighs and the stockings that you can see between the skirt and the thighs.
For context, the song in the intro is "Absolute Territory" by Ken Ashcorp. It's lewd. The name of the song, as the description of the song states, is the region of the thigh between the skirt and the thigh highs on a girl or feminine figure. It's horny. Which is on brand with the general themes and ideas developed and established by the Pootus Engage franchise. It's quite an intellengent reference, and it's an old meme community bop. That Ceno0 himself declared as the canon third ending for Pootis Engage where The Heavy Brothers escape a Blown Up Area 51 with all the anime girls in an Oregon Wagon while Soldier Burns. It's called Pootis Engage : Aftermath on Gorou I think is the name ? Tis gud short video. Not worth making video on but is ok to check out.
"It's a real bad idea to leave a hostile at your back" You remember that these guys stormed through a hail of bullets, a heavily armed mech, and took multiple rpgs near point blank and came out unscathed? There's nothing that guard could do to harm them. The pootis too stronk.
I like how this man turns TF2 scenes into random bits of interesting information about the economy and the military.

Not like the subject can even do anything to the heavies, who are basically invulnerable Gods.
The scenes with the buff Soldier (more specifically, the part of it on the train and beyond) are *heavily* inspired by Guilty Gear, a fighting game series known for
1. A really good story.
2. Bizarre as fuck universe
3. Excellent gameplay
And number 4. *The god-tier music.*
The BLU Heavy on the train uses moves from a character called Jack'O, whose main mechanic is using her minions to play keepaway. Her crouching pose became a major meme.
The girl who stabs the Heavy's nuts in Ending A is Ramlethal, also another Guilty Gear character.
Don't ignore the amazing key poses and character designs (moreso in Strive).
Also the Boss of the Facility is based on Sol Badguy.
Not to mention that A. The Soldier is inspired by Sol Badguy and B. His "Overdrive" is literally Sol's Xrd battle intro into Potemkin's Heavenly Potemkin Buster from Strive.
@@mr.kittysavestheworld695 well scenes like when pootises first met him was based wholely on gachi, even his lines, and the ending scene was referencing to it too

13:33 I think there’s around 20 of these little figures hidden through the animations, so much production quality.
Context on the song used for the opening:
The song that was used (Ken Ashcorp - Absolute Territory) references the Japanese slang "Zettai Ryouiki", which translates to, well, Absolute Territory. It refers to the gap in the middle of the socks and the skirt that shows bare skin (It is also Graded E to A, E being normal high-cut socks and A being knee-high socks). They also coined a "golden ratio" of 4:1:2.5 (4 being the skirt length, 1 being the gap between skirt and sock, and 2.5 being the length of the knee socks above the knee joint)
Don't know why it references Gaza Strip but yeah. Also Ken Ashcorp sings in English, so its not a translation at all.
The whole lyric is "You're so highly contested, here's a tip, you should rename your thighs to the Gaza Strip"

Especially a decade after, once the luster of a Moon landing had all but disappeared.
>implying that there were little to no technological innovations or expanded research BECAUSE of the space race
Pro tip, google "things that were invented because of the space race"
I like how he can extend a 13 minutes video, to 30+ minutes just by talking random stuff.

by the way, the intro lyrics are 100% legit. it's how the whole song goes. here:
"Absolute Territory" - Ken Ashcorp
She's got a fetish for fine art
A pair of knee-socks and an oversized sweatshirt
Yeah, she goes right to my heart
She comes a-knockin' with her stocking and I get hurt
I get the feelin' I'm in deep
Troubled waters, but they're only thigh-high
This kind of girl don't get no sleep
Don't wake your father, skip the starters, strap those garters up
Oh, my, my
Checkered pattern on your skirt
I see you flauntin', see you tauntin', it's so sickenin'
I can't resist the way you flirt
I should be dead, but my heartbeat's quickenin'
I get the feelin' less is more
It's an excuse just to shake your little derrière
That ratio, a perfect score
A girl's status is measured by her denier
Lie down, baby, arch your back now
Maybe you can help me get what I want
And curve your little spine and tell me that you're mine
It's all about the game and what you flaunt
Yeah, I know that there's no pleasing you
When you know that you're not teasing me
She's an absolute terror for absolute territory
That's it, baby, take control
You're so enticin', mesmerisin', don't know how to react
You're gonna steal my very soul
More manslaughter than the third impact, yeah
I see you struttin' in that pleat
Double-takin', yeah, I'm shakin' and you know it shows
This kind of girl just can't be beat
She whispers in my ear, "Take off your clothes"
Lie down, baby, arch your back now
Maybe you can help me get what I want
And curve your little spine and tell me that you're mine
It's all about the game and what you flaunt
Yeah, I know that there's no pleasing you
When you know that you're not teasing me
She's an absolute terror for absolute territory

The song is about the area of the thigh between thigh high socks and a skirt. The Gaza strip line basically meant that zone is so desired, it is heavily contested.
The move looked like a hurricanrana into a ddt.
@Cindy💯💗 yeah but thighs?
0:59 You'd be terrified but these lyrics are original, plot of pootis engage is about search for booties, and the lyrics are basically about thighs.
It’s in Poker Night at the Inventory where Heavy says he has a PhD in Russian Literature, though I imagine the canonicity of that is questionable
That cover of Fly Me to the Moon was from the game Bayonetta, just so you're aware

The opening song, Absolute Territory, was released by Ken Ashcorp in 2013. It's about the area of the thigh between the skirt and the sock, and the male gaze.
Finally the end of this epic series.
I know im mad late but the song in the opening is a real song from the artist Ken Ashcorp titled absolute territory, thats slang for the region of leg between the thigh pinch of stockings and the skirt.

God i love how he’s diving way too deep, trying to figure out a hidden meaning to the intro song lol

Paul, the song in the beginning is called "Absolute Territory" by Ken Ashcorp, it's been out for a while now and wasn't commissioned for the video, it's a decent song talking about a certain term (Being the name of the song, naturally)
Absolute territory is the area between the open skin of the thighs and the stockings that you can see between the skirt and the thighs.
