That's great to see some more progress again! Sounds great too. I really appreciate how you two take the time and do things cleanly like that fuel hardline and plug wires.
I am doing a Ls3/6L80E swap in a 03' Crown Vic Police Interceptor. It's a project with my grandkids. Trying to pass down knowledge and the love of hotrodding.
Don't know how many folks know this but, so many seal bearings are made in China these days one should default to understanding, those Chinese bearings do NOT have enough high quality grease in them to last so, the seals covers should be gently persuaded off and the bearings cleaned and greased with plenty of high quality grease - that especially go to bearings that are essentially permanent and/or very difficult to replace if the go wrong on you. I have done this for my Harleys through the years and have never lost a wheel bearing where all my riding buddies have and constantly complain how shitty Harley Bearings are. They are fine but, they need to be repacked before installation.
Thanks man... I miss those too :) ... so I do have an update... the engine I took apart is junk (all cylinders are cracked) however I want to weld on it to learn... BUT... in the background of this video you'll see another flathead by the back door that is in line for a video series! Thanks for waiting!
That's awesome can't wait to see the final product
Thanks Ben, slow but steady 👌🏽
Can’t wait to see the car done!
Us either…. Looking forward to having one for cruising and another for banging gears 🤘🏽

Great point, so many time the issues lies in other “small” factors that get overlooked or disregarded
This is pretty cool.
But yk i kinda miss the flathead vids, got any updates on that ?

Hey Charles, the internals aren’t new… it was a used engine that we bought from a swapmeet 👍🏽
