@@maddin6273 I'm sure the actual reaction needed is not what you think... it's way higher. The notes are created by the drivers to give themselves some clues of how the corner ahead is; to give themselves the information they can't get through their eyes. That information is blended with the one coming from the eyes and body to calculate the braking point, the driving line, the entry speed; the car's dynamics all the way thru the corner. Grab a proper simulator, like RBR, and experience it yourself.
@@ohandanotheronebitesthedus6247 I know the car consumers need the clutch pedal in some circumstances, but the car makers can make cars capable of making clutchless shifting like those superbikes, but they somehow insist not making it, if they do, it would make the consumers enjoy when driving fast, helping them escape out of the everyday boring routine. So they would appreciate the car makers by that.
I wish it was the good old days, gears clutch brakes heel and toeing showing off the real skills of a driver nowadays with the sequencial boxes and all the other electronic gizmos it's lost a lot of the old excitement but I guess that's what they call .. 🤔
@@andrewrouse9204 What electric gizmos? Rally cars have no assists. Besides rally drivers want to go fast, not show off their skills. Which is why nobody wants H-shifters to make a come back.
But Isle of Man is definitely more dangerous though because you got no chassis, roll cage and seatbelts to protect you. Once you make one mistake. You could be dead
What i think is amazing, is the totsl NON-reaction by the codriver, even when the driver matts the thing and checks up, his feet NEVER LEAVE THE FLOOR BOARD!
Very cool, but this has to be the longest rally stage ever. I’ve been watching it for over an hour and they are still going. Anyone watch until the end and know how long it was? 🤔
I'm used to Motorbike fast, and what gets me with this isn't the speed, but how the Acceleration doesn't slow down. The speed just keeps increasing, at the same sort of rate until 180.
Don't want to be annoying making comparisons of eras but past max speeds reached that I Remember. Norway 2009 - 202km/h (Hirvonen) Catalunya 2003 - 214 km/h (Panizzi) Bulgaria 2010 - 216 km/h (Sordo) Some examples.

the amount of reactiob the drivers have in such speed in such narrow roads
The Reactiobin is crazy
You should check out some Isle of Man TT pov footage.
The co-pilot is calling the next corners, so there's no "actual reactiob" like you think

This is the best drive view I had ever seen
The fact that it doesn't even look that fast just shows how great it is!
Then you did not see to many WRC onboards.
Watch Walther Roerl and learn.
Love how he makes going fast look so smooth and easy👍
Rally drivers are just so on a different level
That throttle control was nutty
Hey... why don't all the car makers make cars with no clutch pedal, so that the consumers can drive like those competing in Rally?
@JohnKickboxing because alot of folk want a clutch this is motorsport and time is everything

Love how there’s no clutched gear changes, just sequential gears like a motorcycle, right foot on the accelerator, left foot on the brake!
That's because those cars have a sequential gearbox installed lmfao

Thanks for sharing, many F1 drivers would be jealous of WRC driving skills and could not match them .
If the Isle of Man TT moto race had an equal in car racing for skill and on the edge racing thrills, then WRC would certainly be it.

The, left side bar fills when Brakes applied and then Boost bar fills & empties while accelarating from lower speeds
that looks so calm in comparison to the pedal work with clutch and blip, heal and toe.

The longest wrc stage ever was SS 8 from Rallye du Maroc 1975 at 786 km
That was fruity!! Thanks for the meal RedBull!
We really love to see more footworks!
I need to learn more about that transmission & clutch.
That was an insane amount of speed in this stage!!!!!!!!!
