The drummer is very impressive as well. I love it when the floor toms are involved into keeping the beat throughout the entire chorus or a verse. Most drummers save them for drumrolls, or changes into a bridge or a guitar solo. They otherwise use only the kick with the snare for the main job. Mike Bordin changed my mind on that. It's a totally different feel when the floor toms cooperate with the kick for the main beat.
I absolutely hated this album when it came out but after many years it's become my personal favorite FNM album. It's solid from front to back and very diversified. Good stuff.

It's definatwly more straight forward ,kind of stripped back than angel dust but I loved it. It's definately heavier. That being said to me angel dust is something extremely special that hadn't and will never happen again. There will never be another band that sounds like them and never will be
truly one of the most innovative and inspiring. We all owe them the same way than to other legendary bands that set the basis, like Led Zeppelin or Deep purple did before.
