    I never made candy apples before, but I wanted to make some as favors for my sister's baby shower earlier this month. I found this page, and subscribed for inspiration. I used the 6:4:1 ratio, and the apples looked so professional. All the guests were talking about how delicious they were. My sister's mother in law even said that they were the best candy apples she has ever had. Thank you for sharing your tips. I've been on a candy apple kick now, and have made 2 more batches in the past month lol.

      Thank you so much for your kind words and for subscribing to my page! I am thrilled to hear that the candy apples were a hit at your sister's baby shower. It's always a pleasure to hear that my tips and techniques have helped others create delicious and beautiful candy apples.
      It's wonderful that the guests couldn't stop talking about the candy apples and that they were even "deemed" the best by your sister's mother-in-law...lol. I am glad that you have been on a candy apple kick and have made additional batches. I hope they turn out just as delicious as your first batch!
      Thank you again for your feedback and for using my candy apple recipe. I truly appreciate it!💕

    Hi Diva I have a baby shower can I use the 6 4 1 and 1/2 of that one since I need 24 apples but I need to make yellow and green in one pot?

    • @DIYQUEENDIVA
      @DIYQUEENDIVA  8 месяцев назад

      Yes, it can definitely be done because I show y’all on here all the time. Make your first 12 yellow. Then add a drop of blue to achieve the green and then dip your 12 green candy apples. Make sure when you make your yellow to add white. Get a teaspoon so you don’t add too much gel food coloring but I prefer a tiny drop over a teaspoon. Get a cup of water and test your colors first like this- ruclips.net/user/shortsRL-jiskFvuY?si=Ma4UUEmGplD4rTyt💕

      Many treat makers will charge for a plain candy apple anywhere from $6 to 8+ and if they include a bow or decorated it’s anywhere from $9-12+ I hope this helps you. At the end of the day you can charge what you so desire.💕

      I'm glad they came out great. The last time I think you stirred while the candy was cooking which will leave your candy apples grainy-like on the candy apples. The bubble by the stick is the most common area to get bubbles. This is why I tell y'all to make sure you pay attention to the top area and clean it well. I'm proud of you, and your candy apples will be a 10 the next time once you clean and wipe the top of your apples well. I'm just glad I was able to help you.💕
