As a child I would feel special to have one of these apples! As an adult, they look delicious!
TIP: If you spritz your measuring cup with cooking spray ("Pam") before you measure out your corn syrup, the syrup just slides right out afterwards. No scraping!
Omg this is amazing tip! Does that work for every liquid u put in a measuring cup ?

I would like to see the entire process please, thank you!
you probably don’t wanna introduce oil into a candy recipe. most candy shops scoop their corn syrup with wet hands cause it slips off
They are beautiful. I love how she cleaned the apples. She explains everything entirely.
Ikr, it was so satifying!
Those apples are just about the most beautiful things I've ever seen.
Just found this and am sooooo glad I did. I'm having a baby shower and would love to make these. You're incredible!
I have never seen them blue. Look delicious. Those are cute.

I've never seen such shiny clean apples in my life!
We call them toffee apples in the ukx an we only sell them for Halloween

I don’t know how I even began to watch this video but I couldn’t stop watching. Awesome job and thank you for taking such pride in what you do. I’m truly amazed by you and your work!!!!!
I accidentally came across that and I couldn't look away. Then after she cleaned the apples so thoroughly I made a playlist just for recipe. Just a beautiful job. I'm not easily impressed but yeah she gets thumbs up and 5 stars
Those 🍏 look really clean and healthy after you dipped on boiling water. You are giving great explanations. Thanks
You are a professional. The apples are presented beautifully. You can command top dollar as your work is spectacular. Keep going .
It's not rocket science lol
@@Iceis_Phoenix why must people always have something slick to say..? This person is just complementing the video and you, a hater, just has to go and make up something negative to say🙄
@@Iceis_Phoenix no, it's not. It's candy apple science 😊
@@Iceis_Phoenix lol, you try inventing a new look for the apple and doing that. she makes it look easy, but it's not. Her scientific knowledge, because cooking is science and art, makes her stuff upgrade by a hundred notches.
Wow! Way more involved than I imagined...but they sure are beautiful! Very nice video, no background distractions, no stupid music, very clear instructions and explanations...great job! Thanks so much for posting! 💙💜💗
You are a breath of fresh air. You are the best teacher ever.
Awesome teacher very impressed
I would happily pay $10.00 for one of these apples. This would be perfect for a gender reveal baby shower.
What is there to reveal? They’re just blue lol
You mad doggy? Yeah but you’re not getting my point. How would you reveal it? Just walk out with some pink/blue colored apples?

You're right,
Wouldn't surprise me, lol. But they probably won't be as well cleaned.

That is the bomb! I know your clients are so very lucky to have found you. I could have used your services years ago for my granddaughter's birthday party. That is first class all the way!
Love, love how detailed you are. You explain things so well and do things at the same time so people can follow you step by step. Great Job!
WOW!!😀 THOSE ARE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CANDY APPLES I'VE EVER SEEN!
Yes💖
I haven't made these in years, but seeing yours made me want to do it again. Then I suddenly got a lot of apples and decided the time was now. I followed your directions to the letter. They are now sitting on the dining room table waiting for the moisture to bead out. It already started, but I will wait the full 24 hours before coating them with the candy. Thank you for a great tutorial.
How'd it go Shirley? I just made caramel apples before watching her video... learned a lot lol... and my caramel would not stop sliding down the apple (mind you like I said I made these BEFORE I watched this video with all the knowledge I needed haha). Curious to know how the candy apples do in comparison.

Impressed with the time you take preparing your apples.
Love how she explains everything throughly
They are gorgeous with just the sanding sugar, especially for the holidays instead of the typical red candy apples. Thank you for sharing this nice recipe.

Not even lying when I say BEST TUTORIAL EVER. I watched hours of videos trying to find the best one & I decided to try this one and this worked. My apples did not have bubbles or anything.
USE THE WHITE GEL FOOD COLORING. This step is key otherwise your apples will show through ALOT.
Thank you so much for this tutorial!
This is the best way I’ve seen how to make candy apples....because all other candy apples looked a mess even at the end imma do mines like this every time thank you good job
I was not aware that that's such a long process omg I'm impressed! I'd honestly feel guilty about eating those, they're so pretty!
Best tutorial on RUclips I’m making these tomorrow for Memorial Day
These are great!! My daughter's 2nd birthday is on the 25th of this month. We're doing Frozen 2 theme. I'm gonna attempt to make these. They would be such a hit at the party!!
Where did you get the glitter coating? Also, where did you get the Elsa cutouts for the sticks? I would love to see a decorating video!!
I don’t know if you ever got an answer but I learned a lot from my cousin.... any theme you ever want you can ALWAYS google image print size and quantity you need and laminate and cut out.... There are stores that also print edible images of what you bring in if you want them for cupcakes or any treats such as cookies on a stick etc..... you can easily apply your laminated cut out with a dab oh hot glue directly to the candy apple stick or to a toothpick with a dab of hot glue and insert
Just a suggestion as I seen you had not gotten a reply to your quest
And most stores have edible glitter or dust in their cake section... Micheal’s usually carries it... even Amazon
@Tammy Lindsay, the "sparkles" are just what they call sanding sugar. Just like the red and green sugars you put on Christmas cookies. It's just a large grain sugar and can be found in most grocery stores.
So did u make them?
Oh my goodness, the apples are absolutely beautiful. You are so right. The sanding sugar does add bling. I can't wait to try it out. Thank you for sharing your recipe.
I love how shiny candy things are
Kudos to you! This is the most thorough well spoken step by step presentation I have ever seen/heard on RUclips . Flawless!!
My dear girl, fantastic. You are very clever. Your apples are gorgeous, and you are gorgeous for sharing your art. Thank you. Sherie Rodrigues from Australia. ☺🥰
This is one of the best how-to videos I've seen. Gave tips and tricks along with explanations on why as it went in every step, instead of after the process or leaving things out that would have otherwise ruined batches in trial and error. Excellent video, you have a new subscriber!
You don't want coasters that's just tacky... Lmao that's my favorite part to eat! Lol
Lol mines too
Then she still ended up having coasters 😂😂
I was looking for this comment! Everybody I know love that part. And we eating that part first.....growing up in the NYC.

Those finished fully decorated apples looked amazing! I really wanted to hear the candy crunch of biting into one of them, as well as hearing how delicious they tasted. 🍏
They look so pretty it's almost a shame to eat them!
Great Recommend, RUclips! I love caramel apples. Now, I know why the caramel never seems to want to stick, when I attempt to make them at home. Those apples are beautiful and they look delicious!
These are CANDIED apples, not caramel apples. Two totally different things....
@@Jomama02, Seriously -- reading comprehension is on the decline in America. I know caramel and candies apples are TWO different things. My comment was a take on her tip about cleaning and removing the wax and dirt off of apples -- thus: "Now, I know why the caramel never seems to want to stick..."
Those are the cleanest apples I've ever seen. The ending product is so pretty.
Me: oh, that's pretty. I guess I see how she did that.
Five minutes later:
Me: Daaaaaang this chick knows her shit.

Thanks for the visual. Do you think she addresses it? "Oh, I know you!! Shiiiiiit!!!! How are you today??"

Awesome!! I have tried so many times to make candy apples. But the candy never stuck to the apple. I always washed mine, but did not know about removing the wax, cooling the apples, and then letting them rest. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'd love to know how to make Caramel chocolate apples. :)
BEAUTIFUL apples!! I personally love the cinnamon apples that one used to be able to get from fairs, or Carnivales.

Lovely! And couldn't you pour the leftover candy on to a cookie sheet like peant brittle and break it up and keep in a jar? I hate to think of it going down the drain.
Or dip pretzels into leftover candy. Then sprinkle them with sanding sugar.
You could probably add some mint flavoring as well. You could drizzle it onto parchment paper and make snow flakes or ice shards as an added treat.
