Hello miss, it will take between 2-3 days for the caramel to firm up in the fridge🍏💕 If you have any other questions, I answer some common questions about the dulce de leche in my updated caramel apple video at 9:40🤗 ruclips.net/video/J1yMwB70Yh8/видео.htmlsi=FCPfpfsM5Atuu2uX
I made the caramel apples this morning. I did them with the rocket apples they are mini apples and I used my cake pop stand instead of putting them on parchment paper and I cut the recipe down to just one can of caramel in 4 tablespoons of cream. It worked perfect. Thank you for your recipe for the most easiest way to make, apples thank you again
I tried this method today and I must say this is way better than some of the other methods I have done. This is now my to go to method when I’m doing caramel apples. The caramel was nice and thick not too runny or any bubbles. Highly recommend for everyone to try!☺️
Thank you Micah for giving this Caramel Apple Method a try and sharing your feedback with everyone 🤗 I am happy that it worked for you and has become your new go-to to dip Awesome Apples 🍏💕
Hi love it's not a bother! Not sure if you heard me mention in the video at 12:15 that it is ideal to start melting your chocolate right after you finish dipping in the caramel to prevent cracking 💕
Hi Trenisha! Not sure if you heard me mention in the video at 12:15 that it is ideal to start melting your chocolate right after you finish dipping in the caramel to prevent cracking 💕
I am a 74 yr. old woman who had this video recommended by RUclips algorithm, likely because I enjoy whatching all sorts of cooking and baking channels. And I am so happy I was sent this way! You are a fabulous presenter. The instructions you give and they way in which you explain what you’re doing and why is excellent! Though my caramel/candied apple days are well behind me (age and dental issues!), I thoroughly enjoyed watching your video. I’m going to Subscribe to it right now. Oh, I also want to mention the camera work and the cute, pinkish “set,” … wonderful, too!
Thank you! I followed this to make caramel apples for my daughters. I did try using my sous vide to heat up the caramel and it worked great, highly recommend this if you have one. I tossed the lechera and heavy cream into a ziplock freezer bag and placed it in the water bath at 143 degrees. Took the bag out and mixed it by hand then I opened the bag over a small mixing bowl and spun the apples in the caramel. Can drop back in the water bath if reheating is needed. No stirring, no burning, and no clean up, just toss the bag!
I’ve always loved the way you give direction and tell people about heat temperatures some people just say eye ball it your explanation shows the intellect and research you’ve done thank you ❤
I just tried this method and I must say it's as easy as you say it is! I love it ! I've just added caramel apples to my small business and I've been trying different recipes but this by far is the easiest and has the best results the toppings just stick and it doesn't run off the apples! My new go to for sure! Thank you so much for sharing! 10/10 🙂
I'm doing these Caramel and chocolate apples tonight with my grandkids we are so excited. I tried the kit 30 yrs ago with my so and they were horrible lol. I'm so happy I found your channel and I will let you know how we did later tonight. Wish us luck 😊
Hello Michele, that is such a fun fall activity to do with your grandkids 🥰 🍎 You're the best grandma!! Since this is a softer caramel it will be easier for the kids to eat as well. I hope you and your grandkids have a sweet evening and enjoy yourselves to the fullest 🍂 please let me know if you have any questions - I would love to hear they turned out 🤗
We did it! Lol I was going to be fancy and do the chocolate dip over caramel but decided we will do the cake pops next week. The apples were beautiful and delicious. My son said " I don't know mom bc these apples look professional" 😂 thank you for your great videos you make it look so easy, fun and beautiful. We will definitely do them again.
Wow!! This is the very best recipe tutorial I’ve ever seen! Seriously! Thorough, to the point and very clear instructions. I wasn’t even planning on making these but it came up on my feed and now I’m stoked! I’ve tried making them before, several times, and they were a complete fail and huge waste of time and money. You’re the best! Subbing! 🙌👑

You are very welcome Ainur! Sounds like a sweet way to celebrate🎉🥳🍏 Since this dulce de leche is a soft -set caramel, my tips for having success at the party are to package in clear candy apple boxes instead of bags, and to allow the caramel to firm up in the fridge for about a day before serving🤗💕 if you need any more help, I have an updated caramel q&a video that may answer any of your other questions about this recipe, the dulce de leche sections starts at 9:45 - hope you have fun and they come out delicious! ruclips.net/video/J1yMwB70Yh8/видео.htmlsi=XIfDtUck6jN90ko_
@@SugarMagicbyCristina thank you for your tips! I made the apples and they were so delicious and guests really appreciated it and said they look professional! Used the same caramel recipe to coat some pretzel sticks and it work wonders! Thank you so much again for your recipe and your contribution to my husband’s birthday celebration! 🎉

Hi ladies, it is a soft set caramel that doesn't completely set (only firms up so it's not chewy) how long did you leave the apples on the parchment before dipping? I mentioned at 6:18 that Kraft is chewy, and that Dulce de leche is soft set at 5:54
