I went to High School (AA Stagg High - Stockton, CA.) in 1972. Chris Issac was a grade ahead of me. He ALWAYS carried his guitar case with him in the halls. Played on the center grass glade area at noon. Girls, girls, girls, always girls. Later in the late 80's when he hit it big, I used to go to New George's on 4th Street in San Rafael , CA. when he headlined. Place was packed. Standing 5 feet from him and his band dancing our asses off...Peace
My friend and I used to joke that Chris Isaak was created in a lab by scientists looking to create "Sexy Roy Orbison"

When this song first came out I watched the video and listened to it for days and days on repeat. There wasn't a song like it or a voice like his. I've loved him ever since and this song has a permanent spot on my playlist. Still jam it to this day. You need to watch the gorgeous video. Hearing his voice on the produced track will make your whole body break out in goosebumps...trust.

Fun fact: Chris was an amateur boxer and had his nose broken several times. You can see the ski-jump from his side profile. Amazing he can sing and hold notes that long. Just before he hits that long note you see he takes a deep breath through his mouth. Not unusual but I think his nose restricts his breathing but takes nothing away from his singing.

I have to tell you that my mother was a huge Elvis fan and we went to Graceland in 2005 anyways we were in Memphis and just happened to follow up on a concert with Lisa Marie Presley and Chris Isaak at the park and it was amazing because Chris Isaak is a huge Elvis Presley fan if you can tell or not that he has that twang and thing about him but anyways it was the best concert ever and Chris Isaak is huge and you should really listen to a lot more of him plus Lisa Marie Presley she's awesome as well 😃👌🤎

His version of Solitary Man is a tear-jerker. And In the Heat of the Jungle will force you to dance, no choice at all., You can have a lot of fun with Chris and his gorgeous voice.
