I saw him perform this in concert back in 1996. He’s amazing. He’s also really nice and stayed after the concert until everyone who wanted an autograph got one. He signed my shirt I bought and talked to me and shook my hand. A true gentleman and humble guy.
This song cuts very deep if you’ve ever been in one of those relationships where you just get strung along and just dropped. I’m sure many others can attest to that as well
Chris has got the smoothest voice, the best hair and the most amazing stage outfits! I love his eponymous album with Heart Full of Soul and Blue Hotel. I caught his show way back in the late 80’s at a small nightclub in San Francisco. And then a friend ran across him at a local record shop and asked for his autograph which he happily did for her along with a quick caricature of his own face. He’s a cool guy.

Thanks for playing Chris Isaak's music. I've been seeing concerts since 1968 from Black Sabbath's first tour to Elvis's last tour. Chris gave one of the best shows I've ever seen in Greenville SC that I'd rank in my top 10 along with the WHO, Stones, and Leonard Cohen. Chris also had a TV show that's worth catching. Hey Jamel! I *looove* this song. It's so sensual. And I love the way Chris Isaak sings it (he's so handsome 😍). Beyond this song, he's an amazing (and shamefully underrated) artist with a great group of musicians behind him. The director, David Lynch, included some of Isaak's music (like this song), and Chris Isaak himself, in some of his films. "Don't Make Me Dream About You" is from this same time frame. "Baby Did A Bad, Bad Thing", "Blue Hotel", and his debut "Dancin", highly recommended. ☮ out!

This is one of favourite live performances of any song by any one. The technical prowess of everyone on that stage is just phenomenal. I love this song anyway but this version 👏👏👏👏👏
I’m a 42 year old man. Also a seasoned musician. Music has always been emotional for me. Pumps me up, brings me peace and joy. Also brings tears to my eyes at times. This is one of those moments. The music is super tight, the song is haunting in a good way anyways. Then add his vocals with those great harmonies…..To top it off, the lyrics are top notch
Thank you, again, Jamel! So glad I found this reaction tonight. I second, third....all who have previously commented on Chris' talent, unique voice, musicianship. I wouldn't go that far. Hetfield told Bob Rock he wanted his vocals to sound like Chris Isaak on the Black Album. It didn't necessarily inspire the sound of the entire record.
His sense of humor is also as great as the mirrored suit he wore at the end of his show.
He is that amazing live... ! A true crooner and a gentleman. Would love to see him perform again!
I’m so glad you got around to this one. I haven’t heard it in awhile, and it was such a treat. Thank you.
His song "Let Me Down Easy" from this same performance is incredible as well, and features a 'special guest' for a fun moment.
It was a hit over here in the UK. Wonderful piece of music.
Chris Isaak is great in concert. Beautiful voice, great band and hilarious banter. A special experience that I recommend to everyone.
I was 6 when this song came out,it's one of the 10 songs I don't think I've ever skipped, food for the soul. One of the others,I can thank my parents, Beds are burning by midnight oil. Such a phenomenal song.
☮ out!
Blue Hotel is such an underrated tune.... ❤️
It was a huge hit and played on the radio for many years!
Finally. It's probably the best recording of his song.
Dude from Slipknot and Stone Sour did an acoustic cover of this song. Amazing vox.
Would love to hear it
You mean Corey Taylor? 🙂
Slap yourself darling! Chris originated this beautiful song! Thank you for doing A FANTASTIC REACTION! I always love it when you look at us with that "Mmmhmmmm All Right Look"!! You da bomb you da heat!!! Have a great one! You always make my day!!🙃😃✌👍
I seen Chris in Concert in Clinton Ohio in July 2022 if you haven’t seen him you should. He tours every where . I follow him on Facebook and he gives notifications on where he’s playing. He’s 66 now and still sounds soooo good and looks good too ☺️
You hear covers of this song and think they are great, then you return to Chris and realize he's astonishing.
This is one of favourite live performances of any song by any one. The technical prowess of everyone on that stage is just phenomenal. I love this song anyway but this version 👏👏👏👏👏
A modern classic. Such a good song it’s beyond description. The performance is as perfect and as tactile as it gets
This is a Chris Issak song
This song from the guitar riff at the beginning to the voice of Isaac, is very haunting. I have always loved this song.
One of the best and most fun concerts Ive been to! He and his band are amazing showmen
BUT get soooooo distracted thinking of that damn gorgeous video! One of the most beautifully shot, filmed, edited and cast videos of all time!! Helena Christiansen was one of my favorite super models. Yes, she was a 'super.' And Chris was beautifully wonderful in the vid as well. Forget the director, but what an eye! Cinematography, color - just stunning, breath-taking and, obviously, memorable. To me, and millions of others.
Wicked Game is one for the ages. I remember this song when it first came out, and the way it fills a room on a good sound system was just game changing.
It's cute that you've never heard of him or this song. One of my all-time favorites. Saw him live in the 90's. He puts on a great show!
I saw Chris Isaak live 20 years ago in Minneapolis and it was one of the top 3 concerts I have been to. He is wonderful to see live …I would really recommend it!
Definitely one of my ALL TIME favorites. So beautiful.
From these same live sessions, Chris Isaak also performed a song called "Dancin'". Definitely deserves a reaction video!
You ain't never been in love,
you can't relate to this heart break.
He's married . Why do you think he can't relate?
@@susang1107 I was speaking metaphorically. I just dropped the “if” off of the first line.
@@TheArchangel911 Ah OK, thanks for the reply. I agree whole heartedly now. It's an aching pain like no other.
Chris Isaak is one of our greatest singer/songwriters. I hope you will react to more from him. He has quite a treasure trove of great songs. Your subscribers have made some very good suggestions. On your own, I think you would enjoy watching the official black & white video of this song...very sensual. And yes, headphones always.
Chris is a fantastic performer…. Surprisingly funny too
Haven't listened to Chris Isaak in ages. Thanks Jamel
