One of the most hypnotic, sensual songs. Ever. Yes, the background vocals were in the original recording; however, they were much quieter. I got to see Chris in concert at the Denver Zoo back in the day. What a great memory :-)
They have been together as a band for 40 years. He had a series on Ahowtime for like 3-4 where he played himself in a looswly based ersion, but even all the band was in every epsiode, mostly hanging out and practicing at Chris house and just acting like rhe friends they are.
I am quite a fan of his. And this album and song was comforting when love was confusing hard. And back in the day it was said he was successful in his career, but now in his love life. So that’s the reason to he’s and music full of emotion love and agony. It turned out to be beautiful music but it hurt me that he suffered personally. 😢 thank you for yet and other great reactions ❤ by the way I tried to be patron member, have issues with paying with my card.❤
A lot of great art comes from great pain. I too feel conflicted about it sometimes , its bittersweet. Classic iconic song. Thanks for always watching and taking the time to comment 🙏🏽❤️. Didnt realize there was an issue with Patreon. Might be temporary.
Usually count this as a guilty pleasure song. Like enjoying Devil Wears Prada or The Notebook. It's just a perfect melancholic rhythm though. Awww shit, I should probably watch The Notebook.
Your impressed nod with tha super long note Chris held reminded me of a band you haven't reacted to yet on your channel: A-ha. They have a song called "Summer Moved On", but be sure to check out the live performance at Oslo Spektrum from 2010. It's an amazing performance! The lead singer, Morten Harket, holds a European record for the longest held note in a pop song.
Here is a video from when I went to see him recently in Melbourne Australia. What a concert! My son recorded this ruclips.net/video/J6kPIHc6n1A/видео.htmlsi=At31bS3PMVMdjfIa
Love starts with butterflies in the stomach, and ends in a dark room with a bottle of whiskey and this song on repeat.
This song made me fall violently in love with Chris Isaak! I had forgotten all about it ....
What an artist and what a iconic song. Amazing.
His music video to this song is iconic from when I was young. His voice is great
The original music video for this song is the sexiest thing ever put to film. Seriously.
Dont think i have ever seen that.
Chris Isaak is a master songwriter and top-tier singer. This song is given so much room to breathe. Beautiful.
Beautifully said.
❤
I heard so many covers that I nearly forgot how good the original is. Thanks for reminding me
Iconic song. Thanks for watching.

I will pay close attention when i listen to the original. Thanks for letting me know!
This will always be one of my favorite songs.
There's something so haunting about it imo
Such an iconic song.

I like this song
Great song.
The original has stand the test of time. Beautiful! ❤
100% . Amazing song.
I remember when this came out, such an awesome song!!❤❤
Amazing song.
That was just a SOUND CHECK. This song fits break up, betrayal or in my case, a death. Beautiful pain.
The backing vocals are in the original. Also, the original music video is one of the steamiest music videos of all time. 😅
Now im interested 😂
You’re not imagining things: the backing vocals are much more prominent here than in the studio version.

Classic song!
I love this sound of Zayn! So refreshing. Beautiful. Lyrics to die for! Zayn healthy makes my heart soar. ❤ to you Zayn. Great reaction!
Listen to his double album Beyond The Sun covering songs of early Sun Records recording artists Roy Orbison, Elvis, etc.

I know A-ha by name, but dont know that song. Lets hear that nooooooooooote 😀
Such a classic song.
Now you have to listen to a 15 year old Diana Ankudinova sing this. It's jaw droping.
I did that one! And just recorded another reaction to her on Masked Singer. Hope to get that video up soon.
@@SaeedReacts. Great news 👍🏻👍🏻
This is the original. He wrote and composed it.

And now you go and listen to Geoff Castellucci's version of this song. We'll talk later.
