WOW. I have been saying this since "Wicked Game" was first released and I was nailed to the floor by its timeless beauty and first thought of Roy then Elvis. Bravo for your comment and musical acumen, but it was that haunting guitar intro that gave me goosebumps back in 1989!

Chris Isaak doing what he does best: pining and crooning. He has other songs (like "Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing", which is sexy as hell) but in my eyes he's best when he's like this. Another great one is Blue Hotel. The perfect songs when you're heartbroken.

Well this guy has search and original sound and this track that it is really something I'm still trying to grasp for words obviously. I know nothing about hell or other tracks but this predictable or drag is one of the most original tracks I've ever heard. Sounds like opening with a steel guitar. When I heard that I automatically story thinking this guy better pull something out of the fat rabbit hat lol... Obviously he did and then some so I will probably have no reason not to put this track on the playlist. I'm actually amazed that somebody commented how love songs and love heartbreak songs are always done best by country singers like this.
