I remember when I heard this song for the first time. I was a child in the 90s and my parents had taken us out to eat, there was this dance floor with only a few people slow dancing on it. This song came on, I remember my mom and dad look up at eachother, they got up, and started dancing together. I remember sitting at the booth watching them. That memory has always stayed with me. Fast forward to 2018, I danced with my wife to this song just after I asked her to marry me. Some songs echo through time and generations. (Some backstory) My wife and I went to the same highschool but never spoke to eachother during our years there, we were both in relationships at that time. Mine ended shortly after graduation and so did her's that year. We happened across eachother after highschool and I realized we had similar interest. I asked her to go to dinner with me and she said yes. That's was 2013 and we've been together 11 years now. We spent the entirety of our 20s together, I reflect on that decade now having turned 30 and it's full of memories that I wouldn't trade for anything. Every once in awhile, we read these comments and it makes us appreciate what we have even more. Thank you all for the kind words.
