I so love your videos, thank you! Long time gone's first block looks amazing and I love the ghost quilt. I was binding a quilt today that I've been putting off binding for ages and it was lovely to watch your video and stitch along.

Your finished quilt looks amazing! And the pillow and wool applique are really pretty
    I love all your WIPs🧡💙🤎
And sometimes when dealing with the monsters the only helpful way is by appeasing them 😉
Lots of quilty fun for everyone 🎉

Hit it OUT of the park again, Laura! Your videos are really pushing me to get back to quilting a bit more. I started crossstitching when I was little and then left it in my twenties. Started quilting in my forties and got a little burnt out and happily discovered my love for crossstitch again. Now in my fifties, I’m FINALLY realizing that I can do both. You’ve been pretty dang inspiring for me to keep at it and do both. Thanks for that! 😊 and about those monsters… please, please, PLEASE reach out when they’re being too loud, ok?? See you soon! 🤗

Laura you nailed it again! I’m catching up with your videos. Your creativity is awesome. I love all the quilts you showed us, since I’m not a Halloween person, I’m surprised that ghost quilt is my favorite in this video.🤩

    Hi Laura,
I've been catching up on your videos and really enjoying them. I love that dark quilt you showed - absolutely gorgeous! And all the star quilts are so pretty. Thanks for the refresher on wool applique. I love doing that as well and will be making some small projects in the near future. O recently ordered some beautiful wool squares and also some wool felt in pretty fall colors. Thanks again for your videos and love your sweet personality. ❤

So much fun and beautiful work. I am going to give Rebecca a try. Put it on my list to read next. Did have to order the Sew Emma pattern. The ghost quilt is so wonderful with the purple background and using the different fabrics. I may need to pull out my pattern. Thank you for making my stitching time fun.

Hi Laura. Thank you for this fantastic quilting video. I love your videos. They always leave me so inspired. I read The Thirteen Tale in library school and loved it. I have to read it again. I watched the movie for Rebecca but haven't read it. I'll have to add it to my list. ❤ I hope that you are doing well and enjoying this colorful season.

Hello from NC Laura…thank you for sharing…it is all so gorgeous. You are so talented! Your puppy is so sweet, our border collie can tell time too and knows when it’s dinner time. Love the book recommendations too..I had a long commute to work for many years so I “read” a lot of books from Audible.

I love Daphne Du Maurier I have read numerous of her books maybe all of them maybe but I have read Rebecca several times and no I’m not a movie watcher. I have seen the movie Rebecca one of them so I don’t know if it was the original or the remake I want to say it was probably the original. Love your quilting. Ideas of your descriptions of colors. Can’t wait for the next one of course the next floss tube as well.

Love the video! I'm going to have to track down the Halloween patterns you shared; they were also so cute! Also, loved the book recommendations; those are two of my favorite novels! In that same tone, you might like, if you haven't already read it, Sarah Waters The Little Stranger. I'm sad I never made it to that quilt shop in Des Moines, one of my best friends in college grew up there and we would visit her family, but I didn't know about the shop (of course that was in the 90's so maybe it wasn't there then. One of my good friends introduced me to In The Beginning Fabric Store, which looks like it's still running (8057 16th Ave. NE). I have a lot of great memories purusing fabric there. Hope your visit with your family is wonderful! Thank you for another fun video! Hope you stay healthy and wishing you a happy fall.

Love your Jen Kingwell block.. Colors are so beautiful. I’ll have to see if I can find a copy. Halloween Figs I have had since it’s original release and never found time to make it. But it’s all in its original kit box waiting for attention. Every year I’ve said next year, including this year. I have way too many started and still not finished. I need to get re-motivated to quilt and get something completed.

Hi. I wanted to let you know how much I always enjoy your Flosstubes and now that I know you make Quilty tubes I’m going to be watching and enjoying all of them too! I love how floppy your first quilt looks so I’m wondering if you can please tell me what kind of batting you use? I love the look and feel of soft, floppy quilts and I’ve not been able to achieve quite that look and feel with the batting I’ve used.
    Thank so much! Kathryn

I love your finished quilt! So did you get a new machine to quilt on? Was your grandmother’s the one that kicked the bucket? Why am I so invested in the story of the quilt? 😂 I’m sorry the brain demons were out to get you last month…I can totally relate. I’ve added your 2 book recommendations to my TBR list…is it bad that I’ve never heard of Rebecca before? I’m looking forward to your upcoming Flosstube since you hyped it at the beginning of this video. No pressure 😉

How beautiful FFOs especially the pillow and the track with the ghosts, perfect 🥰👻🎃🍂 I enjoyed a lot watching your video, as always, looking forward to seeing you again. I wish you to have a good time with your guests next week 😊🛍🧵🪡
P.S. I have a question the last two or three episodes that I forgot to ask. Did you just say at a point in one of your videos that you are going to move or did I get it completely wrong? I am just curious. You don't really have to answer if you don't wish to of course 🤔

The technique you use to transfer your white marking to dark wool is very much like a medieval technique called 'prick and pounce'. The only real difference is that chalk dust was used instead of a white pencil. Everything old is new again, right?
