Good Luck w finding the coral or the reddish colour in your quilt from Sugar Creek... You've been busy making all those wonderful dazzling quilts.. Thanks for sharing your trunk show. 🇨🇦🌹
It’s a quilt, the binding doesn’t have to come from the same line. We quilted for centuries before fabric lines came along. What’s wrong with a solid or a gingham cut on the bias? “ use it up, wear it out, make do or do without,”
I know and subscribe to this theory most of the time. It’s rare that I want a matchy, matchy finish. For some reason I want this quilt to be that. I did find the fabric thanks to several viewers help. I love scrappy and mixing fabrics🥰. Thank you for watching my show😍😊🐥
The panel quilt and the 4th of July quilt are my favorites. Oh and I loved the pumpkin quilt! And I can’t forget your easter quilts! Oh, face it. I liked them all for different reasons!! Thanks to you, Patricia and the Engineer!
Just wanted to say I enjoy your videos..met your lovely daughter at the quilt show in Emmett. When she showed me who her mom was..I was speechless. I had already been watching your videos and had no idea you were in Idaho. Thank you again for your videos.
I assume you’re in the Boise area too then? We’ve been here since 2001. I love ❤️ your comment😍 thanks for recognizing my lovely daughter😍😊😍😊 and thanks for watching 😊🐥
I have seen the Moda Love pattern but I never like the color ways. However I loved your choices. You could really see the center. I love the waves in the patriotic wall hanging. The Baby Jesus is a must on my list now!
I enjoyed watching your trunk show. You have been busy. Love all the color combinations. I am going to attempt a pattern or two. I’m new to quilting and haven’t completed one just yet. I have a few in progress. 🤞 It was cute how you called your friend Blue Block and you are Green Block. Just a bunch of block heads enjoying quilting. I love it! I may have to copy the references with my quilting buddies too! Thanks for sharing your beautiful quilts. 👏
Sister, absolutely loved your quilt show. Such as sharing person you are. And I enjoyed hearing the engineer once in a while. I guess he really does exist. Your friend blue block was very kind to help you. But her arms are sore. Everyone loves a Besty.

So you will likely see several comments from me.bIt looks like your plus quilt has a woven look at least in several of the plusses and I really like that! Loved, loved, loved this video and all the stories behind each quilt. Your collection is fabulous. I really enjoyed hearing the Engineer’s voice. He is so fun! Thank you, Di!!
Love, love, love (sorry engineer) all your quilts! My mom used to quilt but I had no interest in sewing. Then she passed away and I inherited her sewing machine. I have so much fun making quilts and buying fabric now.
Love the trunk show, so many quilts! I just stumbled on your channel this morning and can’t stop watching. Hope you found some fabric for the binding 😊
I really liked walking down memory lane with you, blue block and the Engineer. Like the stories of each quilt. The Engineer was funny. Michelle does a fantastic quilting job.
I love your version of the no waste windmill 🥰 I also ❤️ the Pineapple Blossom quilt 🍍🌼 Your 'manly' quilt is superb 👌 And of course, your scrappy trip around the world is delightful (& on my bucket list) Thank you for sharing your beautiful quilts 💜 Good luck with your binding search 😊 Nat x
So lovely to see quilts we have watched you create in a trunk show. Ooh I love sludge green, but agree it didn't work here. I love your introduction...... you may know her as blue block, almost expected Troy McClure! This was a great trunk show. Loved the engineer's response in real time. Stay loved. Tfs, hugs, Chel 🌸
Beautiful quilts. Thank you for sharing. The amount of work that goes into just one master piece is sometimes so crazy, but when they are done and we can stand back and look at them and take pride in the final product it always seems worth it and we must start another. I need to find the time to go back and look at some of your old vlogs there are quite a few that I would love to make.
Thank you so much😊 Did you see the link to the playlist that’s in the description below the video? They’re easy to fine now you just need time lol.😊🐥❤️
Love love love love love all your quilts Di !!! (Sorry engineer lol) but I do….. there is sugar creek fabric on etsy but not the 2 colors you want. Unless you buy a jelly roll or over priced layer cake. Thanks for sharing with us! ❤
What a wonderful trunk show. I love all of them, I have even made a few that you showed and am planning to make a few more that you showed. Thank you so much

I linked a play list (it’s in the description below the video ) of all the videos and each video should have the resources in the description under the video. The Manly quilt is simply 10” Squares made into HST’s. There’s no pattern, rather make as many blocks as you need for the size you want. I also make the HST’s with a patterned and plain 10” square or light and dark. Hope this helps😍❤️😊🐥
Every time I watch your videos, I keep looking at that wall hanging with the chick in the middle of the block. Do you have a video of you making that one? It’s so colorful! I live in Nampa, Idaho! ❤
I don't have a video on that quilt. It's my origional design, logo quilt. One day I would like to make kits and or the pattern and sell them. Hey neighbor!!! I'm in Nampa all the time. Which is your fave quilt shop hangout? Including Fixin 2 Quilt just over the border? Maybe one day we'll run into each other, thanks for watching
@@sisterchicksquilting I would buy the pattern any time! I’m new to quilting but when I need fabric, I’ve been going to Craft Warehouse in Meridian. They have nice quality fabric. I can’t wait to explore my local quilt shops! Thanks for putting out such fun, informative videos! 💜
This was so fun! I've been subscribed for a while and have watched most of your RUclips post. I was just wondering, do we ever get to meet the engineer?
🤣🤣 when I opened my first social media account in the 90s. My husband said I don’t want anything to do with it. Do not even say my name. I said to him, “you are such a part of my life that you will come up in conversations naturally. That’s when I gave him the name name, The Engineer. He likes that because he is one. To answer your question, probably not, but there’s a few little cameos in some videos, and his voice occasionally. Thank you very much for watching my channel Diana and I appreciate your question.😍😍🐥
This was awesome, such beautiful quilts. I really love the chocolate bunny pillow cover. I do have a question on how the wool batting washes up? I just read because of the twisting in the washer to can fall apart. And a drier is a no-no. Have you had issues with it?
I have not had any of those issues with wool batting. Now I don’t wash my quilts a lot, but I do wash them, and I have several that have been washed a lot. The wool batting will shrink, but I like the look of the shrink better with the wool batting than with the 80/20 or the 100% cotton. I’ve never even heard of the batting falling apart. I absolutely put my quilts in the dryer, however, on a lower temperature setting. I tumble them until they’re dry. Like I say in the video, the Hobbs washable wool batting is my go to batting, and I think I just convinced Tracy from the sewing channel that it’s a better batting too.
@Sister Chicks Quilting yes. I saw her video and she mentioned you had told her about it. It's interesting, I wonder if it will keep me warm while it keeps my husband cool at the same time. 🤣🤣
Yes, I do. In the description box under the video I have a link to a full play list. But to make it easier for you, here is a link to the full play list. Enjoy and thank you for watching!!! ruclips.net/p/PL5BFeXz3XkNmG_VkqHzCuF6bQCKG_qkML&si=9ltUjLXdTAawksoA
I found an etsy shop with the panel in stock. Here is the link: www.etsy.com/shop/ChateauSewNOLA?ref=shop-header-name&listing_id=1155454081 The Engineer has lived in Brazil several times. I've never been but love your country and the food. I make a mean pot of feijoada, lol. Thanks for watching my channel 😀🐥
Many thanks for your quick and gentle reply. It is a pleasure to know you love my country. As you can guess I try to develop my English by following videos with patch tutorialsand I must say yours are one of my favorite. al
I don’t know which quilt you’re talking about? There were so many😳 if you’re talking about the ones I had hanging yes, I had pins but that was all. Thank you for watching my channel.🐥❤️😊

Your quilts are beautiful! I loved watching this video. Do you use batting on your cuddle quilts?
Yes, a light poly or a wool. The wool shrinks the poly doesn’t. It gives stability to the quilt and a place for the stitches to lock.

I love Craft Warehouse, especially when they have a sale. I’m way into their flat folds.
What about a white binding?
I found some of the coral in that line tonight! Woo hoo!!!😊❤️
Do you have tutorials for the quilts in this video?
Yes, I do. In the description box under the video I have a link to a full play list. But to make it easier for you, here is a link to the full play list. Enjoy and thank you for watching!!!
