- In this tutorial I am explaining how to. use the 5" x 12" repositionable hoop to embroider a full applique design on a adult size t-shirt. I will be using the Brother SE 1900 flat bed single needle embroidery machine. At the end the design will be larger than the 5" x 7" standard hoop size. The 5x12 hoop is linked bellow,

Do you not ever take the hoop off to trim
Hi! Yes, it all depends on how intricate the applique is. So you can remove the hoop from the machine to make it easy to trim the applique. Thanks for watching 😊
What all was done before repositioning to the second part? Part of the V was in the first position. How did that work out?

Do I need software to use the 5x12 hoop with my Brother SE 1900??
Yes, this was done with the Embrilliance software.

You need the Embrilliance essential software to use the 5x12 hoop. There are other embroidery software but I don't know if they have the option of using the repositional hoop 🤔
