Thank you so much for posting this. I was having a hard time trying to figure out how I was suppose to hoop small sized sleeves into the smallest hoop I have but this is so much easier and makes the most sense.
Thank you so much for showing the entire process, to include the pinning on. I had no idea I could do this on a single needle machine. Your tutorial was sooooo helpful!
This was everything ‼️ thank you, I have a brother machine and I’ve wanted to embroider sleeves on my hoodies so bad but never could figure out how to get the sleeve over the bracket 🙏🏾 you just helped me elevate my business , thank you beautiful kind soul 🙏🏾🖤
Thank you SO MUCH for making this video! This was a challenge, but I was able to do a sweatshirt for my daughter with her son's date of birth on there. It was a challenge, but I feel accomplished now! Have I said THANK YOU!!??
I had a large design I wanted on my 4 yr old GD's shirt & it wouldn't fit on the 10x12 hoop I had to use. I cut the side seam and it fit easily. I sewed the seam back with an overcast stitch on my regular sewing machine. It would have been easier if I had a serger!
Thank you for sharing this! I was wondering if it could be done on the sleeve without ripping out the seam. I do this process of floating for the front of sweatshirts… it was good to see it could be done on the sleeve! Thanks again 😊
this is great!! I'm having a hard time pinning my sleeve down and keeping the opening at the same time. The first one I did caught in my sleeve, I'm going to do my second attempt now. I didn't know about the inside out trick, hopefully that helps! 😪
Your awesome I love how you float, using pins and no spray. I’d rather float this way, new to this. I stick my fingers all time it’s what thimbles was designed for grandma always said😀
Thank you for watching. In this video I use a lotus design that was from a shop called Flora something on Etsy. I can't remember the whole shop name. That's where I got the lotus design from. And the other video where I did the opposite sleeve I used a typewriter font.
Happy New Year to you and family. My nerves was on pins and needles. i know im going to always take the easy way. by opening up the seam and stitching it back, lol Beautiful design..
Happy New Year to you!!! I know what you mean. Opening does eliminate having to pin and tuck...I just worry about not stitching it back up evenly...lol
It has held up pretty well. Maybe it's because I use liquid fabric softener in my wash, but the stabilizer is noticeable, but not irritatingly stiff. But the design also is not stretched out.
You’re one of the only sources I’ve found online showing how to set up a sleeve for machine embroider! You’re a lifesaver - thank you!!!
I never thought to embroider with sleeve inside out. Thank you!!!!!!!!!
Thank you!!
Oh mama THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I’m a beginner and I only speak Spanish thank you for the subtitles, good bless you❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You are welcome!! I wasn't sure if the subtitles were working until you let me know. Thank you❤️ 🌞
Love it! You are the only one I have found to show how to do this. Didn't know either that I could float the fabric. So helpful THANK YOU!!!
Thank you! I do hope that this helps!
You are that rare combination of a brilliantly talented embroiderer, as well as a natural instructor/tutor. 👏🏻🙏🧵
Wow, thank you!
Love the tutorial. “I don’t holler on camera” sent me 😂😂😂
Thank you. Very clearly explained and demonstrated. Now my turn to try it on matching goodies for Valentine's Day.
You got this! Just take your time!
@@SouthernAudacity Did it! Of course they had a fight on Valentine's Day. But the hoodies embroidered on the left sleeve of each one came out great.
Awesome!!!!!!!!

You made a fantastic job of that. I'd never have thought you could have embroidered on a sleeve like that without undoing the seam.
Thank you 😊 it's not always easy, but it can be done 🌞

Great video! Love it. Would you mind sharing the name of the font?

You did a good job!!
Thank you!
Awesome
It turned out beautifully! What machine are you using here?
Brother VE 2200- it's an older model and no longer being sold, but they have newer versions
How did this look after laundering? Was the stabilizer a little to stiff for this fabric?
It has held up pretty well. Maybe it's because I use liquid fabric softener in my wash, but the stabilizer is noticeable, but not irritatingly stiff. But the design also is not stretched out.
Good 👍🏾
❤
❤❤ ❤
I need to know how you hooped it?
Technically it's not hooped. It is floated on top and secured in place using straight pins. Only the stabilizer is hooped.
Do you have the Pathfinder?
No, This machine is the Brother VE2200 aka Dreammaker. It's discontinued, but still runs good
What stabilizer do you use? :)
For this, I use a Classic cutaway stabilizer that I get from AllStitch.
This is a great video, but visually very hard with a dark grey sweater.
Thank you.
