I just did some “mama” sweatshirts at Christmas. Customer wanted a heart ❤️ appliqué with the names stitches on it with the small heart and applied to the sleeve. Turned out super cute! ❤
This is beautiful! So, classy and sweet. Thank you! I just bought me a Baby Lock Ellageo Plus BLL2. So, I am learning how to Embroider. But, I am finding myself being very particular, on what I like to do. I like more modern art work. So, this is right up my alley!
I did my first sleeve a couple months ago & nearly gave myself a coronary. 😆 I reverse hooped the sleeve on a fast frame. I swore off sleeves. Next time, I’ll try your method of putting the hoop on the machine first.
So cute! I think I would have tried reverse hooping on the sleeve. I’m also jealous of your Melco machine! I want the Bernina version but the cost is too high right now. Going with the brother 10 needle which I’m getting tomorrow!
Hi Ashley! I am the one that was asking you to do a tutorial like this (on Instagram), so thank you so much! I did go ahead and do my sweatshirt earlier because it was a order and I hooped/floated it through the neck with my fast frames. It worked perfectly! I do have the 9x3 mighty hoop ordered. I’ll let you know how it works out. Thanks again, Sharon :)
I found the Mighty Hoops sleeve hoop to be a bit to large for stitching right at the cuff. I was concerned it was going to stretch the cuff to much or cause the machine to not stitch well because the fabric was a bit tight around the free arm. Definitely recommend fast frames for right at the cuff.
❤Will you please give us tips on preventing bunching on Jersey wear? Could it be pulling fabric too taught on frame? Or need of topper? Thank you friend! ❤
What did you add first for stabilizer? The no show poly mesh or the Sulky sticky self adhesive. And did you spray the No show poly mesh or the sticky self adhesive?
Yes you can!!! It would be similar to how I monogrammed using the single needle! you stitch in the hole!! here is a tutorial video Lorrie did that will help you! ruclips.net/video/D2YwhTW1zYM/видео.html
I was wondering about thread as well. What brand do you use? It’s always so pretty. Also, thank for telling the height and width of the design. Sometimes I find I make mine just a little too small.
I used the 6x10 Design! Sure!! I am trying to do more videos featuring all my embroidery machines (single needle, six and sixteen needles) !! So I can more people with each tutorial! Anything in particular you need a video on?
If you are using a single needle (flat machine) you would "stitch in a hole" meaning you find the spot you want to embroider, hoop it, then roll the edges in almost making like a birds nest where the center is the exact spot you want to stitch!!! Hope that makes sense!
Love this sweatshirt and the color is great. Very neutral. I also love your paper trays on the shelf behind you too. Can you tell me where you got them. Thank you in advance.
Thank you! they are from Amazon!! It looks like they stopped selling the pink ones I have which is a bummer!! Here is the link ..but it takes you to their gray ones now : amzn.to/3YxFEQL.
You would just add a stop (or Pause machine ) Lay down fabric, stitch the tack down stitch , stop and trim fabric, then do the final satin stitch outline! (I deleted the stops and appliqué tackdown to save time since I wasn't using fabric)
I am so frustrated. I follow your directions and use the same mighty hoop, but when I do the scanning, it doesn't center it. Is always more to the right even if I changed the position to the left. Still going to hit the hoop. I am so scared. Don't know how to figure it out. :(
Hmm !!! Don’t hit the frame!! Sometimes I take my items completely off and rehoop to make adjustments! Have you tried rehooping more to the left? Could you shrink the design? Find where you want to embroider ( place dot or sticker) and then you should be able to move the laser so the starting point is right where you want it! If your design is too big it may not let it trace and be getting stuck!! Hope this helps Marilene!
@@TheMonogramMompreneur Thank you respond to my comment. I did take off the machine, changed the size of the design but did not re-hoop. I will try that. Hopefully will work. I loved how yours come out sooo beautifully. Thank you so much.
The water soluble trick is a GAME CHANGER. 😱🙌💖
Ya know, you are the cutest lady!!! You make me smile...your enthusiasm and joy are infectious. Blessings to you and yours!
You are adorable! I enjoyed your video because you are who made it. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this sweatshirt! I just wish I could embroider a sleeve on the PE800 ☹️
Try turning the sweatshirt inside out. Float the sleeve and pin going in from the arm hole. The pin down the excess. Try is out on an old sweatshirt.
You could also just unstitch it and sew back together ❤️
Thank you ladies!! Both are great ideas! ♥️
I do sleeves on the se 1900 single needle no problem and your machine can do the same
You can. I float my sleeves on my PE800. You have to hold it item CAREFULLY with your fingers.
Thanks for the video it helped out a lot. Can you let me know what font you used on the names?

Super cute!!!! What color is the thread and what brand is the sweat shirt? Thank you.
That is such an awesome idea- Love it- keep the great tutorials coming Ashley💜
I love this!! I am also loving all of your new content. I’m so happy you’re here!!!
yay!!! oh my goodness thank you so much Kariana ! That is so kind!!
What color thread is that? Perfect match
WOW this is beautiful! I have done some with the fabric but must say I like these better. Classy and my new go to for new mamas
Yes!!! it looks so good and best part you don't have to trim the fabric! For sure my new favorite too!
I love this. Do you think I could do he sleeve with the brother Pe800?
It turned out so pretty. I love this!! Great tutorial.

You are adorable! Thanks for the help! Newbie..don’t know what I’m doing haha
Oh my gosh that is amazing and so so adorable. I love it. I need to invest in fast frames for my brother VR machine
Thanks so much for doing this x
can you do a video of how you wrapped the little frame in the sticky?
Can you please tell me the name of this font you used?
I love your videos. Do you ever mentor other machine embroiderers?
Love it!!! Thanks for sharing! I don’t have a sleeve hoop , but do have the fast frames.😍

Have you tried an iron on polymesh?
@@alathiacarroll4449 yes. I did that on the back…I think. Haaaaa
I have EZ Frames coming next week. I love what you did. I have lots of ideas for Xmas next year. Thank You!!
yay!!! so glad it was helpful!!! Thanks Shelly
Thank you so much for this video. Helped alot!❤❤

Would you be able to show how you would do the sleeve on your small, 1-needle machine? I would love to see that.

You're so welcome! Thanks so much for being here!
it turned out gorgeous!!!
thank you!!!
What are your thoughts what size is the sleeve fast frame please?

What size did you do the mama? Also could you do more videos on your six needle??

Hey love your work I hav a question how to a embroider a shirt with out the back gettin sewed to the front ?

@@TheMonogramMompreneur Thank you so much. I will look them up. Gray is okay but I guess pink is a hot color these days!,
Super cute!
Hi! What size did the mama stitch out? I looked at the attached link and there are several sizes! Thanks! Love it!
I think it was around 10 inches!!! I think I could have went smaller but it still looks great that big too!
Can you demonstrate this on the single needle? I would really love to do this for my MIL.
So pretty, I love it!
Looks great. I saw a tip on John Deer's You Tube called Removing Water Soluble Embroidery Toppings
How could the sleeves be donde with a pe 770 machine?
Can you tell me who does your digitizing?
I was wondering the same thing!
I'm afraid to buy mighty hoops or fast frames because I've been told it might void my warranty. Does anyone have any thoughts?
I wish I had time to make one for Mother’s Day
i love this so much!
What size do you do your letters?
Darling!! What are measurements of MAMA letters? Perfect!
I used the middle size so it ended up being around 10ish inches wide by 5-6” high!
@@TheMonogramMompreneur thank you so much for all of your help! ❤😘
Hi .. how would you do fabric for the momma ? Thanks if possible to share.
You would just add a stop (or Pause machine ) Lay down fabric, stitch the tack down stitch , stop and trim fabric, then do the final satin stitch outline! (I deleted the stops and appliqué tackdown to save time since I wasn't using fabric)
what size is the mighty hoop you are using.
I love this!
Super cute❤
Just a tip I would just hoop the WS when I do something so big.
Is there a way to do the sleeves without the fast frame?
What do i google to find the little piece you used to embroider the sleeve please
It’s linked in the description! They are called fast frames if you want to google them!
Super cuter!
What size sweatshirt was that?
I'm with you i love pink
I just did the paw with a heart on my sweatshirt sleeve, we just lost our lab (Lucy) and I added her name to the sleeve with this paw/heart
I’m sorry for your loss. I just lost my sweet baby too. I think I will embroider his name and a paw as well.
oh my goodness how beautiful!!! I am so sorry for your loss but, what a wonderful way to remember her!❤️
Excellent ❤❤

I 💕 it.
Can you stitch on sleeves with single needle?
Yes! Here is a video Lorrie did on stitching sleeves with a single needle : ruclips.net/video/D2YwhTW1zYM/видео.html
Where do I get the sweatshirts? Amazon just have for man.😢
They are Unisex size!! I am wearing a medium for reference! You can get at JiffyShirts.com , S&S Activewear or Amazon / Walmart!
Im not able to use the link to find the design file. Do you happen to have the name of the Etsy shop or another link?
Just Sew Embroidery KY is the name of the shop for the Mama Design , Jolsons hand stitched font for kids names , SUYI embroidery for mini heart
Hello. What is the font size of the names on the sleeve.
oh I think the font was around 1/2 inch! Very small!
I am so frustrated. I follow your directions and use the same mighty hoop, but when I do the scanning, it doesn't center it. Is always more to the right even if I changed the position to the left. Still going to hit the hoop. I am so scared. Don't know how to figure it out. :(

do you use hairspray?
Lol no!!! it looks like it though!! its called 505 Temporary Adhesive Spray ! It helps keep the stabilizer in place while hooping!
@@TheMonogramMompreneur I mean you in general!!!
Hahaha!!!!! Oh my goodness I misunderstood the question! Lol no! I curl my hair right before I film!
@@TheMonogramMompreneur no problem have a great rest of your week!!!
i want real embroidery not a machine that does everything for you. I do REAL by hand embroidery.
