    Hi! Would you be able to share what specific font this is? struggling to make my letters look so neat because of curvy fonts :(

    • @AvecAnes
      @AvecAnes  Год назад

      i cant find the exact font but libre baskerville is pretty similar!

    Hi, amazing video super helpful. I had a quick question. I'm roughly new to embroidery and I'm trying to do some sweaters for some friends. I have the printable stabilizer, I saw that you iron yours but i plan to use the one that washes away after embroidering the design. Will that cause an issue?

    • @AvecAnes
      @AvecAnes  11 месяцев назад

      Hi there! hmmm, I'm not sure since I've never used that kind of stabilizer before but I did notice that my sweater design hasn't budged in years thanks to the stabilizer that I used!

    If I’m writing a three-word phrase in this font, how much embroidery thread would I need? Would you suggest that I buy a spool of a color?

    • @AvecAnes
      @AvecAnes  Год назад

      yeah that should be enough!

    Did you just knot your embroidery with a simple knot to secure? And was good in the washing machine?

    • @AvecAnes
      @AvecAnes  8 месяцев назад

      yup! just a couple of simple knots in the back and it's been holding up well for the past few years in the wash!

    Hiii, I am trying to embroid for the first time on a hoodie, which size needle did u use? And is the stabiliser necessary ( I don't know where to get it😅). I love the designs!

    • @AvecAnes
      @AvecAnes  8 месяцев назад

      oooo great question - i would say a stabilizer is necessary if you plan on wearing or washing the hoodie on a regular basis and i got mine off of amazon! as for the needle size i would recommend a size 4-6 (i find the thinner ones to be more precise for smaller designs). hope that helps :)

    Can you wash these like normal?

    • @AvecAnes
      @AvecAnes  Год назад

      yup! as long as you have the mesh backing that holds the threads in place you can wash it :) i've been wearing mine for longer than a year and the design is holding up pretty well!

    Great tutorial. When you say use basic stitch what is that? Sorry complete novice. Also with the hoodie, did you do the stabiliser the same as the t shirt before you start embroidering?

    • @AvecAnes
      @AvecAnes  9 месяцев назад

      thank you! oops sorry i wasn't clear - it's specifically a back stitch! and yes, i used the same stabilizer :)

    • @AvecAnes
      @AvecAnes  9 месяцев назад +1

      yes you can! i've washed mine for the past 2 years and it's still holding together quite well :)
