While I am in no way a beginner embroiderer....I did need to refresh my memory as to how to load the sweatshirt onto the machine. It's been a while LOL. And I'm so glad you did not edit out the needle breaks.
O M G!!!! I have been wondering how to do sweatshirts for over a year! I'm going to be doing a sweatshirt starting TOMORROW! Thank you so much for this video!
10:34 Girl, I wasn’t even looking for this. I just clicked on this video and watched the entire thing!! I absolutely LOVE how you edited this video! It’s so easy to follow! Thank you! I now have a new hobby!
8:14 pm. This video is soooooo good. Thank you. I used your method to embroider sweatshirts and towels. Worked great for both. Thank you so much. I think you can use this process for anything. I’m gonna try.
I can't even begin to tell you how much this video has helped me. I actually stopped embroidering because hooping was such a chore. Thank you so much, serious gratitude for a hack that brought me back to my machine, much love Julie
Fantastic video, Delilah! Using your process to line the design up on the shirt will really help me! I’ve definitely had some wobbly designs. Thank you! 💗
Excellent tutorial! You have taught me so much! I hope to embroider my Christmas sweatshirt tomorrow. Can't wait to get started! Thank-you for sharing! 😊
My heart almost stopped when your needles broke! That’s an area where I am confused as to returning to the same spot after removing the whole thing. Thanks for this video. ❤❤❤
On a brother if your needle breaks just replace it and retread. On the screen there is a +/- button. I use that to back the stitches up bout 10 places. Helps lock the new retreaded thread into place. As for the hoop and project do NOT unhoop it. Just cut the thread at the broken needle release the hoop from the machine. Set it aside and work on the needle. Check your bottom bobbin as well to make sure nothing it going on with it before continuing.
I love how well you have learned to use your embroidery machine. This turned out so nice, love it! I have a Brother 2800D Innovis so similar to yours & really need to learn how to use it. Thank you for the inspiration!
Hi. Thank you so much for this video. Absolutely the best! May you tell me what size/dimension we should print our image and/or based on small, medium, large; how do you know the size it should be
Thank you for making this video super helpful I have a silly question how do you position the design on the machine so you get facing the right way I hope this make sens I find a hard time doing it
I just made my first embroidery on a sweater shirt. I was worried about the placement, so I followed your instructions and my placement turned out perfect!!!! Thank you so much for the tutorial! It's very easy to follow. Could you explain why you used the water-soluble on top? I know i have to use it for fluffy towels. And I am just curious to know if I can skip the topper or not.
I love your video. Your sweatshirt came out so cute. Your thread may have gotten caught as this can cause thread breaks. Check your accessory bag to see if you have a small tube with a hole in it. You put it inside your spool of thread to make the thread feed more evenly. You can also buy a thread stand which is what I use. Having a thread stand you can use the large cones of thread which can be more economical on colors that you use a lot of. Keep up the good work. You are a great teacher
Hi Delilah, that turned out cute and perfect like your other embroidery projects. I can’t believe how fast your machine can go! Impressive! I have a Viking Creative Vision I bought 16 years ago. It took a 10 year break while I was working but I am retired now so I am starting to put it back in action. I am doing a lot of free standing lace Christmas ornaments I didn’t get around too in time for Christmas. I can’t believe how fast your machine goes. I always have to slow mine right down or the thread breaks.
hi, thanks for saying hi! i'm glad you finally have time to embroider! and yes my machine goes so fast..even the other day i was embroidering and it was going so fast i couldn't even see if there was still thread...it was doing detailed work and I had to keep stopping it to make sure everything was okay and sure enough it was just working its magic!
Thanks, like I mentioned before I have a largely unused embroidery machine, and granddaughter and grandpa husband bought me a Cricut for Christmas so it’s a toss up now. Maybe integrate the two. 😳
hi, very helpful video! Was wondering if you wash the sweatshirt first? Or if you don't how does it wash up ? Does it still look good after? Would washing first even help?
Hi!!! Loved your video and your tutorial is awesome!!! I tried it and it’s sooo easy!! What kind of iron on stabilizer is that and where cannot be purchased??
Hi, its floriani power mesh fusible cutaway stabilizer. i purchase it from my local embroidery shop, I have never purchased it online so you will have to google it, sorry about that I wish i knew where to get it online. Great news on your sweatshirt!
Oh goodness, I havent been using the power mess stabilizer or the top stabilizer. I only purchased the tear away. I hope my projects hold up over time 😅
I saw a video here on RUclips where the the user talked about this same problem. She just switched the tension from 4 to 3. What she does is start off by embroidering the letter I to test out the tension. I hope this helps! It helped me 😭.
I have problems with certain threads. They catch sometimes on the rough bumps around the rim. I take Fingernail file and smooth it down to help. Another problem I've had is the thread wraps around the post and pulls tight and snaps the needle. I can't walk away from it. Just keep watching the thread and stop the machine when it starts to act up.
Please I am a novice with embroidery, so how did the machine draw the design without placing the design paper on the sweat shirt? Also can a regular sewing machine achieve this or you have to buy a digital machine like this? Thanks 🙏🏾
hello, i just printed the design from my printer. and no a regular sewing machine could not do this.. but you could buy an embroidery machine and create so many beautiful projects. 😊

If you could help me out please. Been two days only for the machine..1st try alot of bobbin was showing on the top..tighten the tension of top thread..then little bit of bobbing still show on the top. Plus the thread keep looping on the spool hole and broke the needle..the pattern only to me was off scale when it was doing the stitches on the edges line..review on the person store had perfect stitches
When getting a new machine allow yourself time and patience …there will be a learning curve. I don’t know what is really going on with your machine, but do you have Facebook? Because there are a lot of embroidery Facebook groups that have helped me out tremendously when trying to fix a problem. What brand machine is it?
@@SimplyDelilah can you recommend me some..I have Facebook. I joined but they keep replying me "inbox me" because they want to sell their sevice, completely ignoring my message. But the top stabalizer helps the thread have more volume and so the threads don’t sink into the material which may not even be a concern with sweatshirts…I just really like the results.

hi, very helpful video! Was wondering if you wash the sweatshirt first? Or if you don't how does it wash up ? Does it still look good after? Would washing first even help?
hello, i don't wash it first, the stabilizer i use does not shrink and after I wash my sweatshirts they still look great..no wrinkles
@@SimplyDelilah thanks!! I made her design on a sweatshirt and she lives it! Thus tutorial helped immensely!!
How do you clean the sticky basting spray off of your hoop?
you can soak it in vinegar...I usual put tape over the oops and just peel the tape off when it gets looking bad
This was so helpful! I’m extremely new and trying to figure out all the things I need to buy to get started. What kind of thread do you prefer to use?
I have used floriani and brothred...high end and lower end and havent yet found a favorite.

Love your videos, but if I don’t use software, how do I print a picture?
Beginner question here, why don't you hoop your sweatshirt inside the hoop but float it above it? What's the benefit of floating?
Do you pre wash the sweatshirt to avoid shrinkage? Is it necessary?
Hi, no i do not prewash my sweatshirts, i don't think its necessary.

you can just cut the thread in the back and pull it out.

Don’t worry! You may not need it. I’m fairly new to embroidery and people have so many opinions and different methods. That is what works for me. 😊
