      I think if you did each letter as an iron on patch instead of doing it directly on it would be easier. Also you could do this with a 4*4 hoop it would just be smaller than what she has here.

    Hello, very nice demonstration. Beautiful embroidered appliqué letters and you've chosen nice floral design.
    I'm newbie to appliqué. I have the following queries.
    🔹Is the Heat n bond the same as the fusible adhesive paper? I bought the Bondaweb fusible paper to be used for appliqué.
    🔹Some comments mention the "single needle" what's this??
    Thank you for your time and help.

    • @SimplyDelilah
      @SimplyDelilah  8 месяцев назад

      i believe the fusible adhesive can be used for the same purpose, like the brand (wonder under) but you should try it on test fabric just to make sure. and a Single neeedle is an embroidery machine that looks more like a sewing machine and only has one needle so you have to keep changing the thread colors as you go.

    Beautiful project. I was thinking you had a Silhouette machine and quickly looked at your list of videos, but I did not see anything with a Silhouette or Cricut. Anyway, I have a Pfaff Creative Sensation sewing and embroidery machine and am able to cut out my appliqué pieces with my Silhouette designer software on my Silhouette machine. I would imagine there is an affordable program somewhere that would do the same for your setup. I have a little mini wand type iron that allows me to place the cut pieces and quickly iron onto the placement stitch lines. You would save hours of time. I always enjoy your videos and enthusiasm, and I appreciate your honesty when things don’t go as planned. It happens to all of us.

Do you ever prewash stabilizer and/or shirts? Thanks. And I love that little iron of yours!

    What an awesome video but it is way above my head as I just purchased my first embroidery machine a brother SE 2000. Today is the day I’m going to set it up and try an embroidery project.
    I have a question about the mama ? I have a cricut maker cutting machine. Is there anyway I could use the cricut to cut out the MAMA and then adhere it to the shirt Then let the embroidery machine go around the material? The placement really baffles me though how would I get the machine to exactly line up on the mama? Thank you for your videos. I have a lot a lot a lot to learn.

    • @SimplyDelilah
      @SimplyDelilah  11 месяцев назад

      I have no idea how you would do it with the cricut but i think it can be done. But applique fonts will do one stitch letting you know where to place your fabric..then you put your fabric down and it continue and it will tack it down then stop for you to trim then you hit continue for it to stitch the border around the fabric. so happy for you!

    OMG!! I finally found a tutorial that shows me exactly what I need to do. How big were your MAMA letters on this shirt and the size hoop you used. Did the hoop come with your 6 needle or is that purchased separately? I have a second hand 6 needle and I would like to make myself a shirt like this. Super cute too!!

      hi, yes you can make it with the hoop it comes with. the letters were about 3.75" in height. here is my other video that shows how to create the file ruclips.net/video/5d7xf_qCq8A/видео.htmlsi=GXxkWwy1FWOtKZrw

    Hi how do you like your Brother multi needle? Do you like having the 6 needles ? How do you like how it stitches? I’m wanting to get a multi needle and am thinking of the Brother but I worry about the insides not being strong enough to be heavy duty…If that makes any sense? Thanks for any information you may have….Your shirt turned out beautiful ❤🎉

    • @SimplyDelilah
      @SimplyDelilah  11 месяцев назад

      yes that makes sense, i think you are asking since its not considered a commercial machine but its a name I trust 😊 I love all the Brother Machines, I think the Ricoma is cheaper as well as the Melco and even though they are considered commercial machines I've heard they can be really finicky...but I guess all machines can, people have different experiences with different machines but I trust the brother brand and have confidence that I didn't waste my money choosing this one.

    I love your videos and have been watching since your early days when you were mainly sewing garments and had a single needle. Do you feel the quality of embroidery is better with the multi needle vs single? I follow your instructions and everything looks good until I remove my item from the hoop. Then I have puckers and pulling! I float the item in the hoop. Is that my problem area? Thanks. Love all your videos.

    • @SimplyDelilah
      @SimplyDelilah  Год назад

      hello, thank you for watching. when I used my single needle it turned out beautiful as well...and I always float mine as well.. the only thing I can think of is maybe your stabilizer? I use the floriani iron on stabilizer and then I float it to a tear away stabilizer...so basically 2 layers of stabilzer.
