Thank you so much for the tutorial. It was perfect for my next project. You were clear and concise. I have also ordered the materials that you suggested. Thank you so much!
Hello, very nice demonstration. Beautiful embroidered appliqué letters and you've chosen nice floral design. I'm newbie to appliqué. I have the following queries. 🔹Is the Heat n bond the same as the fusible adhesive paper? I bought the Bondaweb fusible paper to be used for appliqué. 🔹Some comments mention the "single needle" what's this?? Thank you for your time and help.
i believe the fusible adhesive can be used for the same purpose, like the brand (wonder under) but you should try it on test fabric just to make sure. and a Single neeedle is an embroidery machine that looks more like a sewing machine and only has one needle so you have to keep changing the thread colors as you go.
Our niece asked me to make this for her mom so your video will be SO helpful! I’ve never tried this but your instructions have given me the confidence to make it happen! Thank You!
So cute and such a great idea!! I’m super new to embroidery and trying to soak up all the info I can before jumping in. This video was super helpful and I can’t wait to make a “MAMA” shirt!
I'm thinking about getting an embroidery machine and starting a business and you are absolutely inspiring me to do so! Such a great tutorial, great job! Thank you so much!! :)
Love watching your tutorials. I have a single needle and I haven’t learned how to do very much yet. My daughters want me to make this for them ❤ Thanks for posting!
I’d like to know where you got the letters from at the beginning and why they were printed? Did you put that design into the machine? I’ve never embroidered but want to start. Thank you.
I love the size of the letters, do you have a font or specific file you used to make this? Definitely trying to create on my PE900, I am hoping to quickly work my way up to a bigger machine, i find the single needle, sideways working space to be super hard to manage!
Love the way you breakdown every small detail in this video. Is there any cheaper embroidery machine option that can get me the same awesome results like yours. Please let me know.
I got a new machine and this will be my first attempt. Okay I am going in! As a new grandma, I am making a "Nana" sweatshirt, or at least attempting one today!
@@jaimesparkman5071 I just checked and they are $20! Wow! I think I purchased mine at teh craft show for $9. And for some reason they are not on Amazon. Here is the link. Beautiful project. I was thinking you had a Silhouette machine and quickly looked at your list of videos, but I did not see anything with a Silhouette or Cricut. Anyway, I have a Pfaff Creative Sensation sewing and embroidery machine and am able to cut out my appliqué pieces with my Silhouette designer software on my Silhouette machine. I would imagine there is an affordable program somewhere that would do the same for your setup. I have a little mini wand type iron that allows me to place the cut pieces and quickly iron onto the placement stitch lines. You would save hours of time. I always enjoy your videos and enthusiasm, and I appreciate your honesty when things don’t go as planned. It happens to all of us.
I love this! I messed up my first project last night, but am not quitting at all. I am on youtube troubleshooting and found you! I love this project- these have also caught my eye. Would love to make a couple for my daughter w/ grandbabies' onesies.
I think if you did each letter as an iron on patch instead of doing it directly on it would be easier. Also you could do this with a 4*4 hoop it would just be smaller than what she has here.
Hi! is the mama print out on the heat and bond material as well? or what type of material is the mama print out on and is it reusable or do you leave the mama print out on there? thanks so much!!
Beautiful. Please what is the length and width of the design on the sweatshirt? PS I heard you mention the hoop size (5×12 inches) but I am interested in the size of the design🙏.
Being new to embroidery, I love your videos. I've been trying to learn as much as possible and have seen several recommendations to prewash stabilizers so they don't shrink and pucker the shirt when washed. Do you ever prewash stabilizer and/or shirts? Thanks. And I love that little iron of yours!
Hello, this is why I use the floriani power mesh stabilizer, it does not shrink like others do..I don't need to prewash sweatshirts or stabilizers, I have washed my sweatshirts and after the was they still look brand new with no wrinkles in the stitching.
I was inspired by your tutorial. I used a piece of a fat scrap of material. The only problem I had was the sweat shirt stretched in the hoop as I was timing the letters after the tack down. I was afraid I would mess it up more so I just kept going. The last 2 letters were off a bit. I have a single needle Brothers SE 1900. I used my 5x7 hoop! ❤
i wish pictures could be added here, i have my file available for purchase and it will tack all the letters down in one step then you can trim the letters at one time. you can find it here: www.shopsimplydelilah.com/embroidery-supply-list
I’m looking to get a machine but am wondering how difficult is it to go back and forth between thread colors on the single needle machines. I’m torn between the single needle to start out or just going all in and getting a 15 needle machine
wow go big or go home! lol.. I personally would start off with a single needled as there are lots of things involved like threads, stabilizers, hooping etc.

How do you do the stitch guide line? Trying to do this and downloaded a file from Etsy and when I went to embroider it, it is the whole outline and no stitch guide
What an awesome video but it is way above my head as I just purchased my first embroidery machine a brother SE 2000. Today is the day I’m going to set it up and try an embroidery project. I have a question about the mama ? I have a cricut maker cutting machine. Is there anyway I could use the cricut to cut out the MAMA and then adhere it to the shirt Then let the embroidery machine go around the material? The placement really baffles me though how would I get the machine to exactly line up on the mama? Thank you for your videos. I have a lot a lot a lot to learn.
I have no idea how you would do it with the cricut but i think it can be done. But applique fonts will do one stitch letting you know where to place your fabric..then you put your fabric down and it continue and it will tack it down then stop for you to trim then you hit continue for it to stitch the border around the fabric. so happy for you!
i love hoopmaster.com hoops! What do you usually make? I make so many mama sweatshirts and logos so my favorite are the 8x13" and the 5x5" and I have a code for free shipping. You can use "DELILAH"
Amazing video!! Im a beginner with a more basic machine but i really want to do these with tshirts and oneises to!! Im struggling to even get the mama as a file how do you do this and have the printed version please ✨️

I’m wanting to get a multi needle and am thinking of the Brother but I worry about the insides not being strong enough to be heavy duty…If that makes any sense? Thanks for any information you may have….Your shirt turned out beautiful ❤🎉
yes that makes sense, i think you are asking since its not considered a commercial machine but its a name I trust 😊 I love all the Brother Machines, I think the Ricoma is cheaper as well as the Melco and even though they are considered commercial machines I've heard they can be really finicky...but I guess all machines can, people have different experiences with different machines but I trust the brother brand and have confidence that I didn't waste my money choosing this one.
I love your videos and have been watching since your early days when you were mainly sewing garments and had a single needle. Do you feel the quality of embroidery is better with the multi needle vs single? I follow your instructions and everything looks good until I remove my item from the hoop. Then I have puckers and pulling! I float the item in the hoop. Is that my problem area? Thanks. Love all your videos.

I use the floriani iron on stabilizer and then I float it to a tear away stabilizer...so basically 2 layers of stabilzer.
OMG!! I finally found a tutorial that shows me exactly what I need to do. How big were your MAMA letters on this shirt and the size hoop you used. Did the hoop come with your 6 needle or is that purchased separately? I have a second hand 6 needle and I would like to make myself a shirt like this. Super cute too!!
hi, yes you can make it with the hoop it comes with. the letters were about 3.75" in height. here is my other video that shows how to create the file ruclips.net/video/5d7xf_qCq8A/видео.htmlsi=GXxkWwy1FWOtKZrw

Beautiful!! Can you share what size your satin stitch is?
oh man thats a good question, I'm not sure what the satin stitch size is but Its the college applique font purchased from etsy
Could you use the letters in the machine and set it up to embroider around them? Would you have to do that in My Design Center?
Hi do you mind sharing the link for the Mama embroidery file? I want to tackle this so bad but I’ve heard it can be timely so want to make sure I’m pricing them right! This was such a thorough, helpful video thank you so much!
