Love your videos! Especially the ones with the single needle as that is what I have too. I’m kind of a beginner and your videos are so thorough that I can stitch along, pause, rewind and have a completed project. It’s like having a private instructor in my studio 😃
I have 2 dime 8x12, and 8x8. I do like them but I tried HoneySew on Amazon and they work good, also. I got them because I wanted more sizes. I got extra magnets and I find that they work well for about $100.00 less than dime. For me dime works best for quilting and very thick fabric and Honey sew works better with thinner fabrics. However, I’ve been using them together and interchangeably for 2 or 3 years. Especially when I have multiple projects in the same design. I did 12 towels for a bridal party and I hooped both dime and honeysew at the same time, helped me to complete the task in half the time. I enjoyed your video and Good Sewing to you!
They have a few versions of this hoop for a variety of single-needle machines. While I bought mine off Amazon, Designs In Machine Embroidery has all the available options listed on their website: www.shop.dzgns.com/collections/designs-in-machine-embroidery-snap-hoop-hooping-systems/Hooping-System_Snap-Hoop-Monster
I have this hoop also and I personally don’t like it, I have another magnet hoop that uses 6 magnets I place where I want them and it’s better then this hoop.
Yes, I have seen the one with the separate magnets. I avoided that one because personally, I like the whole top of the frame being placed and seeing the center points. But as long as it works for you, that is great. The one with the six magnets is also less expensive. So that is a win. I still have it in my Amazon cart saved for later just incase I stop liking this one. But so far, so good. 🌞

That is awesome! I have not heard of HoneySew, but will have to see what they have. Thank you for sharing and Happy Stitching! 🌞
Design is great and I’m very impressed that you were able to center the design so well using the magnetic hoop. Thanks for sharing!

For the the htv did you take off the backing and just use the color sheet
Yes, take the HTV off of that plastic carrier sheet and only use the actual vinyl.
Love it
