Please start to watch peaky blinders. I guarantee you, it's worth your time!
😊
Don’t forget to watch the Grinch. That’s a Jim Carrey classic
She left Jim at the alter
Dark crimes, Jim Carrey at his best....not a comedy.
Jim Carrey fighting his own split personality is one of the greatest scenes of physical comedy ever!
It still makes me laugh to tears
A step up from kicking his own ass in Liar, Liar.
When it comes to Hank and you hear that music only two words are "Oh shit"
It seems to be a trend, he also fights himself in Liar Liar, haha
Also watch "All of Me" with Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin.
Renee Zelwegger normally does romantic movies which I can take or leave, but she's genuinely funny in this. Some of her facial expressions are hilarious, and her timing is great. Obviously no-one is competing with Carrey for the physical comedy, but she's holding her own against major competition. Bravo Renee.
She was apparently up for the lead role in Chasing Amy. Which would have been interesting IMO.
The actress who did play her was great though. Myself I would have preferred to see her as a stoner in one of his films. She just had the face for it haha.
His relationship with his sons is actually really sweet.
I like how every time Hank tries to fight someone, he gets taken out and Irene is the one that actually knocks them out.
There's a deleted scene explains the cow was not hit by a truck. It just likes to sleep on roads.
Jim Carrey is the master of insane in this movie and look how young Anthony Anderson was
How old was he? Because he still looks amazing like he's barely aged
@@JakNasty69 he was 30 when he was in this
@@justuswarren8965 😮😮 wow I still can't believe it lmao
The vending machine is such a great gag! Long payoff for the joke and subtle.
That line, "She'll be eating blubber alright... Just as soon as I 'Free Willy'," cracks me up & makes me laugh out loud every single time I hear it.. That & seeing those present day three big ol' boys all piled up with Charlie on that tiny little couch watching Chris Rock standup.. Lmao..🐋😂😂
7:55 DID SHEEE JUST SAY “WHO IS RICHARD PRYOR?” 😮😮
Not shocking, honestly. Pryor passed away probably before Mary was even born. And she lives on the other side of the planet, so it's not a huge stretch to think she never heard of this guy before.
@@jacob4920 Yeah I know she hasn’t heard of the guy b4 I’m just saying it’s still ISAANE to think of, But her being on the other side of the planet isn’t too much of a big deal because he’s kinda bigger in certain other Countries to be honest though!
@@jacob4920 pryor died in 2005 and Merry was born in 93
@@MetalOnslaught Daaaamg reallly Bro that’s crazy she was born same year as me I thought she was sooooo much younger fam!
Still a tragedy she knows nothing of the man, that she had no one there to introduce her to his comedy
41:07 The best 'surprise return/saving the hero' scene since Han Solo flew out of the sun to shoot TIEs off Luke's back!
"It wasn't for me." The funniest line in film for the last 20 years!
“The name’s Hank, f***face” 😂😂😂 that made me laugh for days the first time I heard it
This is absolutely my favorite Jim Carrey comedic performance. His physical humor is outstanding. My favorite dramatic performance of his is in The Number 23.
I agree! 100%
@@ubiquinoxxrosiles2766this was his most under appreciated movie. It’s a crime how much this movie flew under the radar.
Alot of people think that Cable Guy was his most underrated movie, no… this was way more underrated than Cable Guy
you are now ready to watch Cable Guy another Jim Carrey dark comedy
This is one of my favorite comedies of all time, it’s so underrated. I laughed so hard at all the little lines in the theater while the rest of the audience was silent.
Jim's faces are second to none. Best physical comedy out there, bar none. Everyone KNEW he was going to blow up when they saw him on In Living Color.
Charlie being genuinely a loving father to his sons is my favorite part of this movie. Even after he's well aware they're not technically his kids, he still loves them and connects with them, and they reciprocate, they love him back. It's beautiful.
Even though everyone is mean/ take advantage of him. Whitey and his sons are the real ones in the movies. Especially his sons. They’re hilarious 😂
"Who's Richard Pryor?" I think you just found your next rabbit hole.
He went to the toilet that way not because of a bner, but because he had cheese dried on his snake to change the direction of the flow lol.
Such a wholesome ending, arguably my favourite bit is Robert Forster (the head trooper) relieved and happy that the man he didn't want to fire fixed his issues and won big in the end. Makes me cry.
*guy flicks cigarette*
“Well f**k my ozone” 21:06
Is still one of the funniest lines I’ve ever heard.
4:20 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 this part always gets me, and your reaction is so flipping funny
A lot of people don't know this movie has a post-credits scene in which they find Charlie's finger in the rivera but a fish eats it.., great reaction!
Hidden Gem. I love this movie.
Consider watching "The Majestic". It's a lesser known Jim Carey movie, a beautiful and uplifting story in the vein of classic Frank Capra-style Americana.
Yes, I agree that Majestic was a good movie… but the reason it was “lesser known” was because it was a huge flop. It’s considered his weakest movie
what you said afterwards, same goes for me,also like that but less extreme (like you i guess),great movie, great reaction ;)
A TV series you might enjoy is called "A Discovery of Witches", if you haven't already seen it.
Mary Cherry is on about Shante Jr meanwhile one is named after the assassin of president John F Kennedy(Lee Harvey). 😂
You have to check out The Majestic with Jim carry. It's a great movie.
First she needs to watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It was a much bigger hit than Majestic was.
The Majestic was a huge flop
@@nsasupporter7557 it's still a good movie
This is hands down. Jim Carey's best Film. Hilarious! Hank steals the show.
This was one of my favorite movies back in the day. such a different jim carrey film and he pulled a schizo off SOOO well.
@Shiby23: He pulled off a schizo off SOOO well.
Actual Lee: No, he didn't. Jim Carrey played someone with "Dissociate identify disorder", "Schizophrenia" is a different mental disorder.
You thought the Cotten Mouth scene was disturbing;
You should check out his Fire Marshall Bill skits from In Living Color.
I may have a twisted sense of humor but I always though the funniest part of the movie is when they were in the diner and the kid was staring and Hank says, what are you looking at fkker. Lol
I hope you saw the cow at the end. still alive but with a neck brace. jajajaja
25:40 Actually no, Hank wouldn't pull it off either. He can't reach top speed because of his nose, he can't breathe properly.
It's funny because most women don't really know the reason why we sometimes pee like that after sex. If we don't pee directly after sex, semen gets trapped inside our urethra and starts to thicken like a cornstarch slurry. By morning time it's completely hardened and partially closes our urethra shut. Then when we pee, Unaware that our urethra is glued shut, it cause the stream to split into separate streams; it's like trying to control a train that's gone off the rails. 🤣
Yeah... it can be quite a surprise, the old 60 degree stream.
I recommend the movie Kingpin. A very underrated comedy made by the Farrely brothers.
The sons make this movie for me
100% agreed.
Oh I know! They deserve their own movie
I think he did the chin at the end like that cause he was trying to play Darren in a proposed Bewitched movie so he wanted to make himself look like Dick York
Everytime I see someone react to a comedy it makes me sad because we don't have these anymore but I love this movie and as always I love your reactions.
@vl4581 Yep, sadly no comedic movies were ever made again after the year 2000...
"REALLY NIGGA?!🙄
Totally underrated movie
I grew up on a lot of comedies and Jim Carrey films were always some of favorites, but My all time favorite movie and Carrey movie will always be "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" which is a far cry from comedy.
The Farrelly brothers had an insane run of movies they either wrote or directed... Dumb and Dumber, There's Something about Mary, Outside Providence, Shallow Hal, The Heartbreak Kid, Stuck on You, and Hall Pass.
I've only seen this movie once. I like it. I just feel that bad for Charlie. Lol. Mary related? I can see that. Mary is calm. She's sweet then someone says something she thinks is dumb or doesn't want to talk about and her Hank snaps back. 😆
12:35: Made me avoid chocolate frozen yogurt for months! lol
Whole new meaning to soft-serve...
I still haven't had an eclair since I saw Van Wilder
This makes me think of my youngest niece and her dad who hasn’t shown up while I’ve been raising her since she was born, when she was born mixed , me and my mom were surprised but we accepted and loved her because my family was a mixed family going back generations which is why I had problems growing up with my features and my speech impediment that most people thought was an accent and that I was a recent immigrant
I am waiting this to help out Mary cherry and this video and this channel with the algorithm 🥰
Jim actually stuck the squeaker of a dog toy up his nose for the train scene.
This movie live rent free in my head
This is an amazing movie. I think I had some sort of breakdown, having all of my feelings coming out at once. Laughing, crying, being furious at the same time, it was horrible.
And literally holding my head together in my hands.
I dont have kids, but love his relationship with his sons. Or step sons. Whatever, blood isnt thicker than water.
And maybe one beautiful day I will meet a girl too.
One of my favorites, also gave me one of my favorite songs "World Ain't Slowing Down" by Ellis Paul.
If you want to see the Farrelly Brothers' magnum opus, you have to watch Kingpin.
This Is Classic Down To Earth Funny ❤❤❤
This was when comedy was gold. Not like todays. There are a few comics that do dark humor but you have to search very very very hard for them.
32:38 So annoying when that happens - You just wanna pee, but you gotta be 100 percent alert, or you won't be able to steer the damn thing properly, especially not when it's awake and you're not. It's not like a car you can just move around with ease one handed.
I always figured that he was saying limo drivers, when he said you people.
Such a great movie
The first time that I saw Jim Carrey was in a short-lived sitcom called The Duck Factory. His role was quite a bit more serious than a lot of the characters he became known for. So it was not surprising to me that he could play Charlie the way that he did.
Yes, more people need to see that he’s a really good actor
The bugs on the bike scene always reminds me of the other reason besides safety I wear a full face helmet. Had some big ass bugs splat right in front of my face on the shield that would have sucked to get hit in the face with.
“On 9…” was comedic genius.
When she seen those kids born I almost fell the fuck outta my damn chair! 😂😂😂
Loved this movie
29:38 jajajajajajaja 😂😂😂😂
If you haven't seen Lemony Snickett, Jim Carrey does a pretty good job at playing multiple characters in that as well.
I thought for years I did something wrong and people were messing with me because i deserved it. It took a long time but I'm grateful that the rest of my life is full self respect and if they don't want to respect me they can kick rocks.
Absolutely hilarious film is Me, Myself and Irene, Whitey lying in bed with Charlie saying what he says was hilarious 😂
The magical cow lol
30:42 Well that's just good genes... ... ...
This movie made me to never trust women ever! “ she’s never your’s. JUST YOUR TURN”
Schizophrenia is not the same as Dissociative identity disorder
Awww shit..this movie will still be hilarious next century
This was the first dvd I ever watched
18:55 It is even funnier now.
I was just thinking about this movie, ecspecially the three adopted sons!
The train car that Charlie walked out of is an Amtrak Amfleet, and is a total mismatch for the car they were sleeping in, as Amfleets are only used for coach or as cafe/diner cars. And AFAIK, Amtrak doesn’t even offer any routes with sleeper cars in the New England states IRL (One, because the routes are relatively short, and two, sleeper cars can’t fit through a lot of the old 19th century rail tunnels in the Northeast.)
Also, there’s no direct train route to Rhode Island from either northern New York or Vermont (where the bulk of the movie was filmed). Going to RI from either place would require taking a layover in New York City.
Foamer alert!
Hank is a 👑 👑. 🤘🏻
Make sure to watch Jim Carrey this Christmas in How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000).
That was the movie he did right after this one… this came out in June of 2000, the Grinch was November of 2000
Watched this back in the day without seeing a trailer...just on the strength that it was a Jim Carrey movie...this gem had me laughing throughout. Jim Carrey is truly one of the greats and this was a script tailor made for him. 😎💯
He is THE GREAT, there’s no one else like him. Robin Williams was the only other comedian who came close.
This movie was his most under appreciated movie… it flew way under the radar, I’m not sure if you were aware
44:09 Whitey is a family member.
Jim and Renee were actually engaged around this time.
19:40 -- RE: Hank; See also: Dirty Harry. Carrey is excellent with impersonations. He's giving Kurt Russell a run for his money in terms of playing other types.
^^ Alright, I admit...20:29 -- He's aiming for Charles Boyer here!
^^ And again, 37:50 -- See also Bruce Campbell, for this type of self-directed comedic timing.
"Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind" next please. This film makes me see Jim Carrey as a magnificent actor instead of a comedy actor only.
Uh… Truman Show was his first big hit dramatic movie
@@nsasupporter7557 Truman Show still have a lot of comedy though
did you watch the after credits scene?
Nobody ever seems to get that the reason Charlie spits up all that water like that is because he was hearing Irene. Something like "because of someone else's mistake I have to drive all the way to upstate New York?!" So he's surprised/appalled by that and that's why he's acting that way. It's really pretty hilarious, pity nobody seems to get it.
You should watch Rat Race… it’s underrated
Did you watch right to the very end? Because the last thing in the movie was the cow posing while wearing a neck brace.
I’m surprised, as much as you love Jim Carrey, that you haven’t seen/reviewed the Majestic. Beautiful movie that takes place in, I think, the ‘40s, after the war in Hollywood, when the “red scare” was a thing and people were terrified of the Communists taking over America.
That one is never mentioned enough.
@@clevelandcbi It’s quite possibly my favorite Jim Carry movie. It’s free on RUclips Premium right now and I have watched it at least 3 times so far. Lol
@lassanaburrfoot
Actual Lee: "The Majestic" is set in the year 1951.
@@justindenney-hall5875 Yeah. I realized that almost as soon as I posted. I just didn’t correct myself.
@@tassanaburrfoot "The more you know!"🌠🎹🎶
Jim and Renee dated for a while he said he truly loved her.😊
Woohoo! Good one! :)
32:58 Not a wood problem. There's umm... a blockage at the tip. 😒
You missed the scenes in the credits both during and post credit
This movie kills me at times
19:43 😂😂😂😂😂
Just top tier body comedy out of Jim Carrey in this one
They don't make comedies like this anymore lol
42:38 😂😂😂😂
Well you missed the ending after the credits.
40:47 He in the end will have an Irish chin that looks like an arse. I had one before an accident that shattered my jaw and nearly killed me. My jaw is now titanium mechano.
