If his voice sounds familiar, his father was Rex Allen and did the narration for many classics, including Charlotte’s Web.
Oh ladies you came across a classic here, no way they could make this movie again today lol, watching this again really makes me realize just how much society has changed (for the worse). I forgot how attractive Renee Zellweger was back then, almost as dank as Nat. ❤
Fun fact: The love song you hear esp at the end is by Ellis Paul. A renowned folk singer and also my best friend thru high school.. Great reaction and great movie..

The MOST unbelievable part of this is the delivered large pizza only costing 14 bucks
even for when it came out that was already uncommon, unless it was low grade like dominos or something.
I watched this movie in the theater with my grandmother when I was 13, and we laughed a lot.

I have a recommendation - its a korean movie titled Love+Sling. Beautiful movie, beautifully acted, unique theme (you'll see when you watch it)
I think my favorite part of the entire movie was the physical acting with an invisible person as Hank and Charlie battled each other. The Truman Show is an absolute must and if you want a really serious role from Carrey with a stacked cast, check out Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
The Truman Show also has some serious acting from Jim Carrey, which shows that he is capable of it.
Since you ladies like crazy comedies then check out these three. Say It Isn’t So, The Heartbreak Kid, and Kingpin.
I love Kingpin, both Woody Harrelson and Randy Quaid are great in it. And Bill Murray steals every scene he is in.

When trying to get on the train, you'd think that Charlie would have less trouble than Irene catching up to it. Being a cop, he should be physically in shape.
You guys should watch Kingpin. That’s the second best Farrelly brothers movie, after Dumb & Dumber.. and honestly it’s close.

I love this movie. BUT I rewatched it, and during his breakdown on the restaurant stoop after she said "She left you, too, Hank." you can see jim carrey doing some grade-A acting. In that moment, I think this script could work for a ROBERT DENIRO, as well as Jim Carrey. This story is DARK and requires serious acting skills. If you put in a serious actor, like deniro, hoffman, malkovich, TOM HARDY, or someone talented like this, then Me, Myself, and Irene could easily switch from slapstick comedy to DARK, psychodrama into madness, like Taxi Driver, as none of this is really funny at all. What makes it funny is the physical comedy applied to a man's mind breaking in half from repeated trauma.

If you thought this was too edgy for Carrey, you probably won't like The Cable Guy all that much.. I still recommend it though, it's different and I like it. Back when it came out in theaters, a lot of people didn't like it 🤷

The albino in this movie has another great role: The Heat. He’s plays a blatantly misogynist cop.

I would watch another entire movie just with his sons only as protagonists, I laughed so much more with them than with Jim Carrey actually.

I also like the nice Carrey better and found him funnier. The Hank character reminds me a bit of his Fire Marshall Bill character from "In Living Color," which I never really took to personally.

I don't think it was as zany as Jim's Ace Ventura or dumb and dumber movies, I'll give this movie somewhere between 4 and 4.5 hoots.

I can tell this movie made you uncomfortable right from the start but I'm surprised you both gave it a higher rating than I thought
Fun Fact: The "kisses" scene with his boys wasn't scripted, Jim Carrey improvised, expecting the other three to crack up and instead they rolled with him, the director thought is was too good to leave out.
Also, what I love about this movie is that Jim Carrey comes out and attacks anyone that makes him angry, but he never once comes out when his kids are around. He loves his three black sons and is never angry with them. It's just too wholesome.

It’s a comedy but I hated the beginning because it’s made as a joke but it’s too realistic when you say something and it’s taken into wrong context and goes way out of hand. This happened to my brother whose wife left him because she found she liked, BBC. Eww

It wasn't too longer ago that I watched this film in its entirety after avoiding it for years. It was indeed funny, though definitely not a Jim hit IMO. There are moments of excellence that people remember, while the rest is ho-hum. "The Mask" and "Liar Liar" are way better.

Jim beating himself up has always been a gag he excels at, but I think the train station scene is easily his best self-attack sequence. It's on par with Bruce Campbell in Evil Dead 2 and Edward Norton in... that movie 🤫
If you've never seen Jim's super early work, look up some skits from In Living Color (particularly Fire Marshall Bill), Once Bitten, and Earth Girls Are Easy. It took him a little while to hit it big, but Jim was always a funny goofball.
