Do you have any instructions on how to replace the N80 purge valve? Can't seem to find a good one

I'm currently looking for this right now lol can't even find it in the engine

Is it possible to do this cleaning without the Ross tech cable? Maybe disconnect the battery first and then take everything apart?

Yes but you can synch your throttle bodies with the Ross Tech. I highly, highly recommend getting a VCDS as it's incredibly useful day in and day out and a very powerful diagnosis and service tool.

Could you make a video on how to properly clean the mass airflow sensor?
Does the Rs5 even have one? Because I can't find it.

Hey Drew, the RS5 has a MAP sensor but does not use a MAF sensor as it's a speed density system. The only way to clean a mass airflow sensor (like found on the S5) is VERY carefully using cleaner specifically designed for the MAF.

Do you know where the throttle position sensor is? I got a fault code of 'p212b00 throttle pedal/position sensor switch g' I don't know where the sensor is

Hey do I need the computer and the program or there is another way around it

For throttle body adaptation? You a turn on the ignition for 45 seconds (accessory power only), then shut the car off for 60 seconds. Turn on car and the throttle bodies should calibrate. Sometimes they don't which is where the Ross Tech VCDS would come in.

A4 B8 2.0 TDI (CAGC) - I have rough idle (engine shaking badly, seems to work louder, noticeable vibrations inside of cabin), rev gauge is not fluctuating, rough idle happens random, and after pressing acc. pedal for few times or driving for a short time it becomes normal... does anyone have any idea why this is happening? I need to clean EGR valve (i think it is dirty), i tried to clean "throttle body" myself long time ago but later on i've read that butterfly plate inside is not good to touch or push, and i was pushing and releasing many times while cleaning, it is possible that i damaged my TB ? Also, i noticed engine temperature gauge is reaching 90 deg really slow and if i turn on heating it goes back to 70...60... degree.. I used vag-com to check high pressure and it is fluctuating it seems...

Correct me if I'm wrong but the throttle body isn't responsible for controlling idle speed?
do these engines use idle control valves, or is it internal of the throttle body?

You are right. It's a speed density system and there's no traditional bypass integrated into the throttle body. When you take yours off you'll notice there are no bypass orifices inside the throttle body bore at all. The butterfly doesn't sit flush with the throttle bore when closed by design as that allows the idle air to pass. This is why gunk buildup can affect idle quality somewhat. Running the adaptation can help a bit in those situations but it's probably best to just clean them. I didn't really need to clean mine. Was just to show you how easy it is to do.

RS5 Fanatic haha I just noticed on mine it don’t have any air flow meters.
Also would you reset the idle speed adaptations after doing this ?

The computer controls this so there's no need. Just do the throttle body adjustment and you're good to go. The computer just needs to know where the throttle body is in it's travel so there's a reference point.
