Can I use the instant ink cartridges that came with my printer even if I don't get the instant ink plan
Thank you for the helpful info. I just ordered a HP DeskJet 2700 and shocked the price of each cartridge if I don't take the HP Print Plan, and learned purchasing the cartridges separate was pretty expensive. In my search for info on HP Print Plans, I saw your video and it looks like it is worth it!
Yes regular ink cartridges are crazy expensive. You also have "compatible" cartridges, but I'll never buy those again. My old Canon printer rejected them after 2 weeks. I'm sure HP will do the same.
Just used the code and got my one month free plus an extra 4 months that HP gave me with my new printer 🤓👍
Thank you for using the code!
How can I orther 9 months free ink ???
I have more ink on hand than I need. But I’m told that if I cancel this service the cartridges I have purchased and paid for will not work.
Hi I was just wondering if they send both coloured and black ink because I’m having a problem where I have a coloured ink error and they cannot tell when they will ship my coloured ink so would they send both regardless?
They do ship both color and black in cartridges. If an HP Instant ink cartridge is causing an error, then you can contact HP for a replacement cartridge. Have a great rest of your day!
Do they send ink cartridges compatible with the printer you used to enroll?
Yes, they send genuine HP Instant Ink cartridges for the enrolled printer.
Awesome :) very useful. In my opinion I think the instant ink saves way more money, you just have to pay a few dollars every month other than rushing to your local store often and paying way more.
Thank you very much for this video. May I ask: what HP printer do you use for photo printing? Thank you.
Great question, I use an HP Envy Photo 7855.
Can I use a normal cartridge while I wait for my instant ink cartridges?
Yes, you can
How do U get the free ink
Answer me this. Why is the quality of hp instant ink cartridges lower than regular ink???
So 50 pages plan, is it okay if i print all pages full photo(pages with full A4 size images prinouts)?
Yes, it is. I used to do that all the time. Great question!
@@evandrinks Thanks for the fast answer
I am confused by this business model. It seems that HP is charging me by page, not cartridge. Yet when I used a store-bought cartridge, HP was still limiting my pages. I print between 50-100 pages per month, and the overprint costs are enormous. Any guidance how to explain how HP controls our printer if we don't use Instant Ink? And how to value Instant Ink program for the home office user? Thank you for your research and video!
Because you're supposed to keep using the instant ink cartridges which have a limit on page print count, now as far as I understand you cancel hp instant ink and any instant ink cartridges you have are useless, but you go buy normal cartridges and you no longer have a page limit but then you don't get the instant ink delivery anymore, they also have a promotion now where for 32.99 a month you can get a officejet 9015 and unlimited page count with ink delivery but that kind only helps if you don't already have a printer.... but you can change your plan size from 100 to the 300 one for like a few dollars a month and still save compared to buying the cartridges separately
Can we recycle ♻️ our ink elsewhere or does hp require you recycle with them?
They sent an envelope inside the box with ink cartridge. It is a free post and you send old cartridges back to HP for recycling in UK.
It is not telling you how to get started into the program.
Thats it, I'm getting instant ink.
Is this a paid review? It was a monthly subscription for me and I was charged by hp by each page I use. HP monitors each copy you make and you can’t use the printer without the subscription.
You have to buy regular cartridges then you can use your printer
@@ekpancho I found out I had to re purchase all new ink. Anything I purchased from hp subscription will not work. I also had o make sure every slot is filled. You cannot fill the black ink only. I would never purchase hp printer again.
@@ms.shunte8323 I have a question, when you first signed up for instant ink how long did it take for your first cartridges to arrive at your house ?
@@ekpancho I can’t remember but I do recall them coming regularly. I hardly used my home printer. So the subscription wasn’t ideal for a person like me. My subscription was filled 3x I only used the what I had initially purchased. I stopped the subscription because it didn’t make sense for me to pay $20 a month to watch ink pile up. I needed to refill my ink finally. The cartridges did not work. So the $20 a month was a waste for me. I did better going to Costco and purchasing my own ink.
@@ms.shunte8323 ohh ok thank you so much !!
There's too much fine print and "up to" elements in the cost estimates. This video doesn't really tell what happens if you decide to print more than your plan. Which is why Epson's Ecotanks are soaring : printer users had enough with those genuine cartridge shenanigans.
And your free printing plan doesn't exist anymore. It was just bait.
This is a scam because you're not paying for the cartridge, you're paying per sheet of paper.
What about just go to store and purchase 15$ for each Catridge for a total of 30$, which one can save you up more money & time?
This should say paid promotion.
No, it shouldn’t because I’m not being paid by HP or any other company to produce this video.
