Why not just buy a color laser used(brother) and buy aftermarket toner for cheap. My monochrome has been going strong on the same cartridge for years. There is no reason nowadays to buy ink. ESPECIALLY FROM HP

I agree with you about the laser printers they are the best choice for people. The only problem is that laser printers don't print very good looking photos. If someone needs to print photos they still need ink printers. But for them I recommend getting an Epson EcoTank.
