WHY I OFTEN DON'T MENTION OTHER BRANDS IN MY VIDEOS.
You may have noticed that I often don't mention the original brands that watches I am reviewing pay homage to. This is very intentional and not meant to offend you or the original brands. I lost my first channel in October 2020 which I had spent 9 months growing and invested a significant amount of money in simply because I had mentioned the original brands in some of my videos. There are people who try to use RUclipss lack of understanding when it comes to the difference between homage watches and fake watches to attack other channels and their owners and sadly I fell foul of this in 2020. This channel was also attacked recently and RUclips deleted content simply because I had said 'subby homage' and 'Rolex homage' in two videos despite the watches in the videos being perfectly legal homage watches. Please understand that I can not afford to risk my channel so I will no longer be mentioning other brands when reviewing homage watches.

I think for me,personally it's the SNO130. Just looks a nicer watch,but as l say its personal choice. 😊
I agree. Love the dial..
@@nselleck0309 👍
I picked up the purple SN0129 recently. Everything about it just works and proportion-wise, it’s pretty much perfect for my wrist. I quite like the polished centre links, it just adds a bit of difference to most of my other watches.
I would pick the SN0129 it’s much sleeker and top bezel is more stream line with the watch. I think it would wear more comfortable on the wrist. 👍
As my only San Martin, I have a 0129 Non-GMT in the red desert and I LOVE IT. It wears perfectly and gets a fair share of positive comments from folks. It is fun introducing people to a brand and watch they had not heard of.
I have a SN0130 and I can't get over how reflective the crystal is. It's like there is no AR coating at all.
Not sure. You may have to send me both so I can judge them in person.
😂
Send me one too 😂
I'm wearing the red dessert texture SN0129 today. It's a fantastic watch. The 130 is a bit big for my preference.
I like the SN0129. However, if I get it, the first thing I'd do is brush the center links. I hate polished center links.
129 G B Adventurine black starry sky
I like San Martin's design, I don't like San Martin's throwing NH movements into all their 3/4 hander watches. I wish they'd use the Seagul 28.8 tickers myself, or option the SW200s more as well.
An sw200, would double the price, and eveyone would complain. And then when they used the pt5000 eveyone complained even though it's like the ST2130, but the connotation of Chinese movement is still associated with inferior. So if they want to upgrade the movement and maintain respectability they should use Miyota 9K movements. Which will bump up the price enough to make people complain. 200-250 is the price most people are willing to pay for their watches, so it's a fine balance of increasing the quaint but keep it's price at thay range, so the movement is the compromise. I'd probably prefer if they started using High Accuracy Quartz movements as an alternative.
@@gilbertoflores7397 who tf complains about a pt5000? i cant imagine anyone who shops san martin being too stuck up for a pt5000.
@@gilbertoflores7397 pt5000 is just flat out better than nh35 anyways
@@gilbertoflores7397 also, plenty of companies offer multiple movement choices at different price points. So you get whatever u actually want to pay for. No excuse imo for san martin aside from using the cheapest 3hz movement they can get.
I think the bezel on the 0130 is too busy and bulky. It distracts from the dial also. The best here to me is the Dune in white with the polished center links for $250 USD
I got the 42mm Peacock Green dial sn0130-g-b. What a fantastic watch. Just beautiful. Great grand seiko vibes. I think San Martins best to date
Sexy macros, as always! The polished chamfers on the center links look really swell, I hope they do that for more models in the future.
Do you have any idea when we'll see better images of the new SN0144X? I have a feeling like that'll be the clear winner of it's best watch, if they make the bracelet like the GS bracelet they did for the GS Diver they did in ghe past.
Have the SN0129 and it works great on my 6.5" wrist. Not many 42mm cases I can get away with. However, prefer the bracelet on the SN0130.
None of them is right for me. Not a fan of the polished end links and the crown guards of the SN0129, the SN0130 is a touch too big for me, wish it had female end links too and I don't like the notches on the bezel. What I do like about both of them are the handsets and indices though.
Check the Cronos L6029
I think for me SNO129.💯👍
Beautiful watches.
I could pull off the 130, but the 129 is the perfect size for me, and the watches look similar enough where buying one over the other doesn’t really matter. Phenomenal watches though. Thanks!
Go San Martin!
Why male end links on the sn0130 and not on the sn0129? It's already a large watch, those end links just stick out.
Very nice, and the split screen content really works imo, but I'm kind of with you on the done-to-death aspect of these models. SM need to do a follow up 'difficult second album' now rather than endlessly resleeving the first one.
Another banger of a review! Have you ever handled any of the Welly Merck I recently got a couple on prime day they are pretty good for what they are miyota powered.
They look great, any chance of them doing a version with something other than an NH movement?
I agree, the 0129 has the edge, certainly looks great
SM always excellent
I like more the 130, maybe is that I don't like that much the purple dial or the crown guards, there's something about the 129 that makes it look too delicated.
Would love to see a comparison with the GADA
Love Starry night
SN0129 for the sizing and i also dont like those notches in the bezel
Nice comparison Gary!
If I didn't already have a watch with a Aventurine dial then I would have to go for the sn0130
What's their performance like though? Every one of my SMs run slow, which isn't great really.
The lume is far from "very good", at least on the red SN0129 - "average" is the right word for it. Still - I think its a great watch. If only SM decided to equip them with slightly more "delicate" bracelets though - both are unnecessarily chunky.
For me it's the 129, better size and much nicer case
I really want both. Sadly my bank account says otherwise :(
The only thing that stops me from buying these great watches is the San Martin logo on their dials, which to me is just not a good design.
I find it funny, they speak wonders of the bracelets and clasps and never mention that they have sharp edges and are uncomfortable on the wrist. Or I was the one who was unlucky and I got the only one like that.
We don’t mention it because it’s not what we feel, I’ve never thought that.
@@ilikewatches Although I have already seen many people complain about the same, I understand perfectly that everything is excellent for you. greetings.
The big question, will the SNO144 be better than both?
It seems like a combination of the two, the case shape of the bigger one, but at 39mm, and hopefully a more detailed bracelet from the renderings, a new unique dial design, and it look like a miyota 9k movement, so it'll be thinner.
If only the SN0130 had female end links 😢. Just too big for my little wrists.
SN0129 ❤
I like a lot of things about these, just not the bezels.
129 for me chief
0129 gets my vote despite the GMT fatigue. The other bezel is a bit funky looking (to me at least), and the male endlinks always make the watch wear longer. .
Come on microbrand manufacturers, give us quartz options on all your watches.
Good to see the option of different bracelets on some of your pieces but this should always be the case.
SN0130 > SN0129
Poor man’s Grand Seiko. Amazing dials and finishing. Love the design of the SN0129 and especially the silver dial version you showed briefly at the end.

the bezels on both are ugly.
