- There were just no instructions in the User manual to print an envelope. Other tutorial showed a Modify Screen to change the media you want to change to. Well, mine didn't. But I did find a work around.

Hahahaha!!!! I could never figure this out. Thank you! This is a good reliable printer. I had the model before this one for 5 years. No problem. I am handing it down to a family member and I just ordered the 7855. I use it wirelessly and the WiFi one these HP Printers is easy to set up and it is very stable (unlike the Epson I once had - never again for that make).

After load the paper, what popped up is the menu to change what paper what loaded. You just tap on the options and change them.

I've watched your video on printing envelopes a few times and nothing, I'm beginning to think my new HP Envy 7858 is defected. I went step by step following your lead and once I hit print its says I have the wrong size paper and kicks the envelope out. When I've selected and clicked on the envelope size I'm using 4 1/8 X 9 1/2 to no avail .
Hi, i just printed on the 7855. my question is if it supposed to shake a little? I that normal?
If it's on sturdy table it shouldn't but the start up and feed (in and out on the two sided print) is pretty ... strong. It has a noticeable "kick" to it
My 7855 printersays paper jam. How do I find the jam?
I have a question, somehow I'm trying to print out something and it keeps saying the paper is misplaced, how come ??
Make sure the paper is in the lower portion of the loading tray. The upper portion is for index cards and 3x5 photo paper. When loading the lower tray with paper ensure the side sliding arms gather/center the paper. And that the tray is pushed completely in. The printer should sound like it's initializing for a a few seconds.

When an ink jet printer leaves a stray line in a print job it usually means the ink is low or you're not using "genuine" ink cartridge. In this case, HP.
You could try clicking on your HP ENVY Photo 7800 icon on your desktop. Then navigate to and click HP Printer Assistant , click on Maintain Your Printer. A group of tabs show up. Click on the first one Service Device. You can choose four different options in cleaning the printer jets or cartridges.

The WiFi set up was easy...EASY....I am not tech savvy and I set it up in SECONDS!!! It even found my password for my WiFi...I guess you are NOT tech savvy at all.....kinda proud of myself..
Well I did get the WiFi to print after initial set up but couldn't get it to print via WiFi if I was more than 60 ft. away from the printer. If I need to be that close to the printer I might as well walk over to the printer press the button on the printer itself. But Kudos to you for figuring it out. I still need my 27 year old son to set up my cell phone so that I can use it to check e-mail. If it requires a sledge hammer or a bulldozer, I can fix it. Anything more technical than that and I need help.
@@808breaksbad. Never give up...I am almost 70 (September of this year) I absolutely refuse to tell anyone I am just not smart enough or whatever...YOU can do it I have faith in you! As for the WiFi perhaps your signal is not strong enough but then mine isn't either and I have my printer in my bedroom/office and I can print from the kitchen...anyway maybe it's not the printer. Best of luck and please I meant no disrespect.

I've never tried this but there is a USB port on the left front portion of the printer. If you have already done this, please post how you did it. It could help others. TY
