I just ran into the issue where the photo tray paper wasn't being detected and thanks to your fix I am able to print photos out again. Thank you big time!
I had a paper jam but couldn't find it. After watching your tutorial, it was jammed underneath the small white rollers in the front. It was way too small for me to reach it, but I decided to print a page, and it jammed in that spot. Instead of pulling the grey lever and pulling it up, I decided to pull the paper backwards towards me and it actually dislodged the small piece of paper! Thank you so much!

Thank you very much for the instructions for a thorough cleaning. It was begging to be cleaned!! Hopefully, the issue of the grinding sound will disappear as well as the paper being jammed,
i have an extremely bad paper jam because the backing of my sticker paper somehow got separated in the printing process and now the sticky part is stuck under the smaller rollers. Is there any way i could take it apart so could get it out? I don't know what to do

I have the hp envy 7155 and I have cleared out every jam and every tiny pieces of paper. All of my rollers are clean but everytime I try to print something it sounds very noisy at first when it’s preparing to bring the paper in to print. Then it will print a good portion of the paper ok then it starts smashing one side of the paper and crinkles it each and every time on the same side as the paper is being printed. I have cleaned and aligned I don’t know how many times without any success of it changing. Any suggestions? I’ve looked everywhere but nobody has apparently posted this issue online anywhere. I’m about to give up and buy another printer. It’s not been a good printer. In fact this is the replacement to my first one I got. If I could find the ink for my ancient hp printer I’d still be using it. It blows any other printer out of the water with the quality of the photos it prints. I’ve had it for over 20 years and was purchased refurbished. They just don’t make anything quality like it used to. Thanks for any help you might have for me!! 🙂
I was printing small Avery 1x3 labels (I had this printer for a long time...great printer) and got a big o jam had to force the jam out and couldn't get the rollers to pick up after that so I watched your video and cleaned the rollers but still no print I went inside the belly of the beast and pushed on the rollers will a little force and wam bam she's a workin' again thanks for video I was ready to give up:))

I went through all the steps. Cleaned all the rollers. Checked every corner. There is no paper jam, but im still getting the error message. I'm about to take a bat to this machine.
I'm sorry your printer is giving you trouble. Is the timing strip clean? It's a tiny clear strip which runs the whole width of the printer behind the ink carrier.
I’m having the same issue. Cleaned every nook and cranny and still getting paper jam message
@@ronniepope2290 I finally fixed mine by just taking out the ink cartridge and putting it back in. Apparently, it was a little jammed, even though it said it was a paper jam.

I went through all the steps and checked the strip as advised above. Still getting paper jam message.
I'm going to take a better look at this model next week and see if I can find a possible solution. If I do, I'll make sure to reply or post a video.

what if it picks up paper but makes a grinding noise?
There may be a broken gear or something is in the way of the mechanism of the roller. Does grinding noise come from pick up roller or elsewhere in the printer?
Were you able to resolve the grinding sound in your printer?
